Love this place. The staff like their job and the owner Josh often times checks on the patrons. Drink specials frequently and the food is flavorful. I've dined here a dozen times now. I tried the meat lovers nachos. Its a meal for two or three. The chilli on the nachos had a touch of smoke flavor. We've not had a bad meal or bad service. Good sea food too. And ITS A HUGE TIKI HUT which makes it super fun.
If you are ever down in Cocoa Beach, you HAVE TO try this restaurant! Cabana Shores is a giant Tiki Bar/Restaurant and has an incredible atmosphere, staff, plate presentation, and all around dining experience....even when it was PACKED! They know how to handle it, and most places don't! I was in the food industry for 10 years and know way too much about the food industry, and this place is a MUST STOP!!! ??? #FOODIE #FIVESTARS ?????

We went to Melbourne for the weekend so I looked up tiki bars. This was the highest rated. We showed up. It was more of a sports bar with a thatched roof. I looked over the specialty drinks, not one tiki drink. I asked if they could make a Mai Tai, went with the simplest tiki drink. My wife asked for an Alabama Slammer, just a regular bar drink. And we ordered the nachos. The nachos were decent. The drinks came out. The server explained the bartender never heard of either, looked them up and made them based on how they looked. Neither was close. The Alabama slammer was farther off, no SoCo or Sloe Gin, and sent back. The Mai tai was the wrong ingredients, but basically a rum runner, decent so I kept. The server was great though. Wouldn't recommend going.

Food was wonderful: Had blackened shrimp tacos (three) which were filled with lots of large shrimp and hubby had the mac jerk chicken sandwich which were both very tasty. Julia at the bar was wonderful! Service was awesome! Nice view across from the ICW near the Pineda Causeway. We will definitely be coming back!
