“My family ate twice at American Charlie while we were in Panama City because it was so good! Service was fast, the portions were large enough that we had leftovers (we eat ALOT)! We ordered the southwest chicken salad, burger, ribs, and wings. The place was clean and had comfortable seating. The staff was friendly. “Yup, officially one of my favorite restaurants and I am SO mad that I didn't get pictures this time. We had a pretty big party of 11. They sat us in less than 15 minutes and were so quick to get us settled in and take our orders. We got there around 6:30 and it wasn't too crowded, especially for a Friday night. I got a margarita, as I always do, which was the PERFECT size. We got three appetizers: the calamari (I could literally drink the sauce that comes with it), the crab cakes, and the wagyu meatball- it is GIANT. All three were 5 stars across the board. For my entree, I got the filet with a side of whipped potatoes (which I want to drown in), and a side of asparagus. I loved every minute of this dinner. We left around 8pm and that is when it started to pick up, so keep that in mind if you're not wanting to wait too long here. I can't wait to visit Panama City Beach again solely so I can come back here. 10/10 recommend!!“
“We ain't here during spring break. We fought through this giant crowd from the next-door resort to get up to the restaurant, so we assume there was going to be a giant line to get to eat. To our surprise, we were seated right away, and there were not a lot of people inside. we got our food fairly quickly. The food was really good and the atmosphere was awesome. We could see the sea from our seats and it looked like we were out in the middle of the ocean. The weather was kind of rough so it looked cool. The crowd was super rowdy outside but we couldn't hear any of it from where we were at and we're completely unaffected. our waiter was awesome and very friendly.“
“Today my boyfriend and I went for dinner to mikes. We had the most amazing seafood platter that came with a side salad and got a side of fries. Everything from the shrimp to the crab claw to the corn was incredible and the banana pudding for dessert was excellent. Our server Rosie was so nice and attentive and she was great! “We visited here twice in a week. BOTH times the food was absolutely delicious. The first time we had an older waitress and the second time a younger but they were both very good and helpful. Our drinks never were empty.We will definitely return for seafood.“

“Was there in November. We (boyfriend & I) walked the beach and found hook'd. The drinks and food were awesome but most of all I want the bartender ZACHARY to know how awesome he is My boyfriend was able to guess his name which zachary seemed surprised that someone actually guessed his name right. “We visited San Marcos on the evening of 4/11/23. Merichris was our server and she was very nice and attentive. We started with chips (very thin and fresh), salsa and cheese dip, which were all really good. We ordered the Top Shelf Margaritas and enjoyed them as well. I got a combo meal and my husband the enchiladas. It was not a busy night, about 100 patrons were there and the food was coming out hot and fast. We decided to try the Margarita flight and that was the only thing we did not enjoy, way too sweet, i should have ordered another Top Shelf. We are happy we finally tried this establishment and we will return.“
“This is a great spot. Yes I missed out on their blue crab, but when things come in fresh it’s first in first out. Their snow crab is good, but their fresh raw oysters are excellent. They are the smaller ones, but this that love oysters know the small ones taste so much better than the large ones. The key lime pie is pretty good too. Very strong in garlic and cheese. I got the hamburger. It was decent but nothing special. The calamari was really good, the sauce had a nice kick to it. The server was attentive. My wife liked her drinks, she did the Tiki Mai Tai and a Margarita in Paridise. They weren't very strong though.“

“We decided to come here with our kids for lunch. We live across the bridge in Panama City, and we visited the beach one day before the kids left to see their dad for vacation. We love the fact that the kids can swim while you wait on your food. We ordered burgers, chicken tenders, and a chicken burger. I have had chicken at so many places over the years, and i can say this place, hands down, has the best crispy chicken i have ever had anywhere. I tell people about it often when they ask for recommendations on where to eat. The service was also good and our waitress was friendly. Alcoholic beverages are a little pricey, but most are on the beach. Haven't had a chance to go back yet, but we are going to the beach with some friends in a few weeks, and we will definitely be taking them here and letting the kids swim.“

In the last 1+ years several things have been upgraded at the Boardwalk Central - bathroom facilities on promenade deck, pool, splash pad, pool furniture, automatic doors which provide ADA access to pool and beach area.
