I was driving while at work and was hungry but didn't want to stop at a fast food chain, so I saw this deli sign in a plaza on 66th street and decided to give it a try. First off, I noticed the whole restaurant is very clean, smells clean and is inviting, even the restroom was super clean. The staff was friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there. Stopping here for lunch after a medical appointment in the area, we really enjoyed the food and friendliness of the staff. We were greeted on arrival and helped through the menu. My wife and I ordered a corned beef sandwich and a pastrami sandwich we then shared. The corned beef was excellent, whereas the pastrami was a bit tough and stringy. Sandwich was huge. Service was excellent. My only suggestion would be to place a to-go order. The space feels "cold" if you're an ambiance type, it may not be for you. If you're just a straight-up foodie, you won't even care. Everyone working there is super sweet and helpful - thinking they must all be family. Best corned beef sandwich I've had in a while.
