Uncover Poinciana's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“I enjoyed trying Kings and Queens for their Taco Tuesday lunch special today. I ordered the Al Pastor, Asada, and King Taco. Out of the three, I enjoyed the King Taco the most. The meat was sliced in fajita-style pieces, making it more enjoyable to eat than the Asada taco, where the meat was in smaller, drier pieces. The Al Pastor was also delicious and juicy. I would return to this restaurant to try other items as the prices and service are reasonable. The server was attentive and even brought chips and salsa while I reviewed the menu. She checked on me consistently throughout my meal. The ambiance in the restaurant was excellent and made me feel like I was in Mexico. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Kings and Queens.“
“Authentic tacos, small but huge flavors. My favorite items are the carne asada and chicken tacos, I fill them in with toppings from the salad bar. The carne asada gorditas are sooo yummy, favorite item. The horchata drink. This isn't your local Taco Bell or fancy dining, it's a local hidden gem.“
“It's much better than the last place we tried in the area... The entrees were fantastic! The server was incredibly friendly and we will definitely be back. We felt the salsa was good, but not quite what we were looking for. The margaritas tasted a bit too sweet and lacked lime / tequila flavor. Overall we enjoyed it.“
“While visiting Kissimmee this afternoon we came across this restaurant. My husband is Cuban and in Melbourne, we haven't found the Cuban food that we used to eat in Miami. So we stopped to check it out. I decided to go for the Mexican food and of course my husband chose the vaca Frita. The dishes were plentiful. I liked the atmosphere with the mariachis going around the tables singing. The only bad experience was the women's restroom, it was not a pretty site. immediately walked out. But hopefully it's not an everyday occurrence. Overall, the food was delicious and outstanding prices.“

“After moving here from San Diego California four years ago, good Mexican food is hard to find in Florida especially Central Florida. I'm used to Little Road stands that have burritos that are open all day and all night. With abuela in the back and making tortillas for the tacos and the grill on the side smoking the place up. Today I found just that. A little food truck trailer on the side of the road with some picnic tables and awnings to cover it for shade. Not much to look at but I can smell it as we pulled in to the makeshift parking lot. We ordered two carne asada burritos with pico de gallo and guacamole and onions and carne asada tacos. I haven't tasted really true good carne asada since I've been here for the four years that we've lived here. But today took me back. Tender grilled beef with that grilled taste, crispy white onions, guacamole, and pico de gallo and my favorite, verde salsa! If you need white tablecloths and singing waiters this is not your joint. This a little roadside food stand that serves it up and serves it up well.“
“In Carmelitas, the food is really good, I love it, and even more so with those beautiful tortillas that the ladies cook there, and the menudo is so tasty, and even more so with the delicious tortillas, I recommend that you come to the Carmelitas store and you will like the food and My respects to the people who cook here, thanks, blessings“
“Prices are high everywhere and this place was no exception. The food was pretty good. The service was great. The restaurant was nice and clean including the restrooms. The chips and salsa were fantastic.I got a burrito and two tacos and really enjoyed them both.“
“I have only eaten at Las Cazuelas 3 times, due to open being open weekends. Each time I got the steak horchata ($8 as pictured), excellent each time. I also tried the chicken tacos ($2 apiece), also very good. Large clean tented dining area, but nothing fancy. About 2 miles east of rt 27, on scenic rt 17.“
“Made food correctly. Needed to melt cheese in cheese roll-up until melted more. They are quick. Pull in parking lot (if you decided last minute for Taco Bell) or do beforehand and put in order in App and then pull into drive thru and then they will start making your order. You will receive free food as it adds up. Sometimes free food is loaded on just because. They will send you an email letting you know this and when free food you earned is expiring soon. I love to customize my food on App.“
“Not my first time here, I have been here a few times over the past 8 years. Things have changed over the years but still they are just as great. This restaurant has always cooked amazing food! It is absolutely delicious. The horchata was amazing! I have tasted some in other restaurants and it is very watery which I hate and this one is very milky. The nacho tostones has always been my favorite, though, I have tried a few things on the menu and it is always cooked to perfection. For the nacho tostones it says chicken or steak but I ask for pork and it tastes amazing. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. The restaurant is clean, and decorated beautifully. The staff is nice and friendly, and they have nice music for background music while you eat as well as a tic tac toe game to play on each table which is cute. The service is great, was seated immediately, and didn’t wait long for food to be served. This is a great place to eat with friends, family, etc.“
