“My old coworkers always raved about this place so 15 years later I finally got a chance to visit. We were a party of 6 on Presidents' Day for lunch. The place is located in a strip mall facing Cypress Road. It's on the smallish side. The hostess had us wait about 15 minutes while our table was prepared. There are some chairs out front for this purpose. My daughter and I split the fish and chips. My dad ordered the fish roti. Judging by his longing gaze at my fish and chips, I quickly traded with him. The fish was bland but the roti with the curry base and bits of soft potatoes was very filling and tasty! My teenage son ordered the cheese burger and fries and wolfed it down with a root beer. There is a bar with a variety of domestic and imported draft beers on tap. My mom ordered a pint of Bud Light but it was too much for her to finish. The highlight of the menu (IMHO) is the homemade desserts. We all split a caramel cheesecake, a flan and a double coconut pie. Delicious! Our server was a college-age young man who is service oriented and friendly. Two thumbs up! BUT... If you are in a hurry to get a quick bite to eat this is definitely not the place. We were seated for 2 hours. If you have the time and the money, Calypso is an authentic old Florida establishment that is well worth the visit.“

“Having never been to Legends Tavern my roommate and I decided to give this place a try, and we are glad we did. We were seated immediately and our server, Dylan came over quicky to give us menus and take our drink order. A few minutes later he came back and took our food order. For appetizers we ordered the Bangin' Shrimp and Pork Belly, the taste was amazing and the portion size was very generous. For the meal we had the Chicken Caesar Wrap (with onion wrings) and the Cucumber Caprese and neither let us down. The taste was amazing and again the portion size was huge. Finally theres a nice neighborhood restaurant with a great atmosphere, amazing food with large portions for an affordable price and the service was great. Dylan was extremely friendly and attentive so I was happy to leave him a great tip, he deserved it.“

“We were on a road trip to Pompano Beach and were hungry after the very heavy traffic on I95 from Miami. We saw BurgerFi and knew it would hit the spot. It's a very nice-looking place with comfortable seating inside and out. We chose outdoors as usual.We split a cheeseburger and fries as we planned an early dinner at the restaurant by the entrance to the Beach Pier. The service was good and the employees all seemed nice and friendly. The inside is clean and kept up.Street parking is wherever you could find it or at the parking garage a couple of blocks away. “Nice guy, under a tent in a grass area just south of Atlantic Blvd on left on 12 ave, had a Chicago dog(outstanding) and Chili dog(very good), BUT.... the dogs are too expensive, for just average size dogs 8&9 bones, footlong should be that price, average size dog should be 5 bucks.... Plus he should find a way to grill dogs so you have that burnt look to them, lots of customers like their dogs that way“
“The waitress was exceptionally kind! Had a very pleasant experience. My daughter ordered the cheesecake waffle while my son ordered pancakes. The only thing I wish is that they would bring back the different flavor syrups they used to have. I notice they have a few new things to the menu, and it looks great, so I may be trying them out again sometime soon. I was really impressed with our waitress. She was very kind and reasonably attentive.“
