I visited this place with a friend and my first impression walking in was that it was very old (dated decor), but when the food came it was delicious. I ordered the ropa vieja with white rice and sweet plantains. Yum! During lunch time you can see a lot of people come in, specially from business around, mostly men. This small nearby restaurant was recommended by a neighbor. Food is excellent at very reasonable prices. We've been several times and everything we've had was very good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Be sure and try the coffee.

I'm a foodie and picky eater. Ordered grilled pork chops, yellow rice (con guandules) and sweet plantains. Can give testimony rice was fresh and tasty (and not reheated, like in other area restaurants). Pork chops had good flavor and texture. "Homemade Flan and Tres Leches desserts were good, portions were a bit small. Definitely will come back!
