I'm pretty sure it's been about 2 years since I last ate at a Sonny's. But once I saw an ad for the new items on the menu, I figured it was time for another visit. We first tried the loaded tots, which are topped with crispy onion strings, queso and bbq sauce. We passed on the option to add meat. It was pretty good. The last 4 times we went they we're out of corn and or tater tots.. Last night we waited 55 minutes for our food and was given plastic utensils.. If it had been crowded I would have understood but it's at 50 percent capacity.. Probably won't go back which is a shame because we go for BBQ aboue once a week..

it pains me to only give a 4. Sonny's is one of the staple places I go. I always order the sampler as I did this past visit. I asked for the marbled brisket, then I was told they were out of brisket. So I asked to double up on the ribs and I was told she couldn't do that?? I was told I could have extra chicken or pulled or sliced pork. Whatever it was still good, the Sonny's amber were two for one and I fed the family and the kids had ice cream all for $40. Hard to beat that!
