“Another excellent meal at this location! We have been coming here for years, and even with the name/ownership changes, it is always a great experience. Our server tonight, Mary, was absolutely excellent! Friendly, informative, prompt, and she spent time explaining the history of Punta Gorda, and this restaurant. We really enjoyed our meals, cocktails, and our awesome server, Mary.Highly recommend!“
“Leroy's has been a staple for many years here now. Don't expect to walk in and sit down immediately, in season. This place is PACKED during prime hours. Get a smokey old fashioned... sit outside and people watch while you wait for a table. The food has always been great.... burgers, pulled pork, fried chicken, bone marrow. We even had a blackened snapper one visit that was delicious.... and I'm picky with my fish from restaurants since I catch my own and cook them fresh! Great live music here some nights as well. Definitely stop in if you haven't already!“
“I am very mixed regarding this establishmentOn one hand, the burgers and the choices for them are outstanding. The bacon and blue burger was heavenly.BUT... They had no coleslaw nor did they have slider rolls. Give me a break, the supply truck hasn't come in that day. Hello, the Publix is just down the street a few miles.. go get some. The outdoor seating , while not copious, was sufficient .Inside looked like a cave. Plus I'm not sure how clean it is. Needless to say, we are outside.Rr41 side is a bit noisy but tolerable.Service was good. The server came by several times and was prompt with refreshments and meals. Cudos to chef and kitchen workers .Plenty of parking out back. Easy to get too for center of town.Would I eat there again?Only if I could be outside. Inside was a one out of five.“
“My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful experience. We each had the pistachio crusted cod and it was delicious. We enjoyed our experience on a very busy Friday evening and made use of The Tamiami Tavern’s virtual wait list and the wait worked out perfectly for us.“
“This wasn't my first choice for a late breakfast or early lunch, but I couldn't find a parking spot another nearby restaurant, and I had an appointment nearby, so time was of the essence. This turned out to be of the better Waffle Houses I've experienced. There were only a couple seats available at the counter when I arrive just before noon which was okay since I enjoy watching all the hubbub and activity at the grills while wondering how they manage to serve as many orders as possible so quickly and accurately. Server was very courteous, and my meal was served very quickly, as usual for Waffle House. Glad I opted for this place.“
“This place never disappoints me. They did is always hot and fresh. The beer selection is always changing and always ice cold. The servers are on point 98% of the time. It gets a little crowded at times so you’ll have to forgive them for being a thriving business that can’t get enough help. Be patient I promise they are worth the wait. If you are in a big hurry try McDonald’s. They will cost you more and get your order wrong consistently.Dietary restrictions: All of my favorites are bad for your health lol. Deep fried deliciousness! And add some cold beers! They do have healthy options for anyone that likes that kind of stuff. YOLO right?“
“The Trading Post BLT is not a BLT but more of a turkey sandwich with some toppings, including bacon. I received a pile of turkey and much less bacon than the classic BLT which I wasn't really looking for. I think in this case we just call a BLT a BLT and a turkey sandwich a turkey sandwich.“
“I had breakfast here with my wife and two friends from Miami. Our waitress was very friendly and kinda funny. She was razzing us a bit, all in good fun. The coffee was excellent. The food came out quickly and was hot & delicious. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese hashbrown bowl, and I would definitely get it again.“
“It was our first time eating here. The owners greated us and the head chef/owner came out to discuss the menu with her due to dietary restrictions. They were very accommodating with meal. The waitstaff were knowledgeable. Highly recommend.“
“Great food and prices. We were met by the owner when we entered and had a small wait time. I watched as the owner greeted each customer and was wiping down the tables to help his staff. Lead by example approach is very hard to find these days. Thank you for the great service and food.“
“Sit at the bar. Or in our case, grab chairs at the beach. Walk to the tiki hut-- no waiter service -- order your drinks, return fifteen minutes later for food you may have ordered. And enjoy the view. Now that we're Floridians -- at least in the winter -- this seemed like a lovely way to spend the day. The place is casual, laid back. A musician was singing Jimmy Buffett-type songs. Not all that hungry, T and I shared a burger. Pretty good! Medium rare -- as I like it -- with lettuce, tomato, onions and crisp fries. Our pina coladas were light on rum, but enjoyable. Not worth complaining. Sit back and relax.“
“This restaurant is not as good as it was in the past. The food was OK but not outstanding. The prices are rather high for the quality of their food and the service you get. With some minor changes they could once again become a go to spot to eat.“
“We chose the River City Grill because of the great sounding menu posted outside. It did not disappoint. Our food was delicious and our server, Angie, was amazing. She was attentive, gave great recommendations, and was fun to talk to. We highly recommend this great restaurant!“
“I don't like to give 5*s often but Zoe's deserved it, we had their 96 sandwich that was amazing and they weren't lying that it is huge, I had the western omelet and they cut and roast the veggie unlike anywhere else it was phenomenal. The service was spot on and so friendly. This is truly a gem that more people need to check out!“
“Twin lobster tail night at Linkside Cafe was a great night! Lobster tails were cooked to perfection, sides were plentiful. Trigger fish with mango salsa was AWESOME!Service was friendly and efficient. Our party of 7 never needed anything as our needs were anticipated throughout.Highly recommend! Can't wait to be back!“
“Service at both the bar and table was very good. The food was good, my wife enjoyed the Korean pork carnita, my pork Tenderloin was huge but overcooked. The sides if fries and beans were both very good. The cocktails were a bit pricey, especially since they were very weak. I'll try different items on the menu. Probably skip the cocktails next time.“
“Beef O Bradys was great food and service was excellent!!! I had the Friday night 10.99 special fish and chips!!! It reminded me of fish and chips from back home in Massachusetts fried cod delicious!!! The onion rings and french fries were delicious too! If you like watching sports and arcades it's definitely place to check out!!! 5 ? across the board!!!!“
“The Perfect Caper is a wonderful way to celebrate special occasions. It is the only place in town to get a truly special meal. The crispy duck is my favorite. It was cooked to perfection as was the Berkshire pork. The service is always excellent.“
