Great food, great atmosphere and an especially awesome staff. Our server was super nice and did a great job. The food was exactly was exactly as it should have been, flavorful and cooked to perfection. And not to mention very speedy. Their happy hour is great, very good margaritas for the price. Shrimp and scallops pasta and skewers where terrific. A great value for your money when it comes to local seafood.
Outstanding comestibles at great prices. Squeezed our 10 top in at 6:30 on a Wednesday, which is generally hard to get around here without a reservation. Tip: they discount the crab legs on the larger portions, especially on Tuesdays.Parking: Park at the strip mall next door if the lot is full.

Our 3rd year in St Pete’s Beach, our third (or maybe 4th) trip to Shells. We love it here - the pasta is perfectly cooked and dressed, she shrimp is beyond perfect. The fried fish, the crab cakes, the salmon - there isn’t a thing I’ve had here that isn’t great. Also $6 margs that don’t taste just like sour mix and cheap tequila - but are just right on any day.
