“This place was recommended so we thought we’d check it out with some friends. In summary, the food was OK. The noise level was a little high in the dining room. Wait staff very good. Ambiance fair. For appetizers, we ordered And shared the Rice ball, Bruschetta and the PEI muscles. The cheese ball was interesting but for the life of me I could not find any of the meat that said it had. The PEI mussels were undersized, and the white sauce had almost no flavor. Bruschetta pretty average. For main courses, we ordered the Amatriciana, the flounder, the Carbonara, and the grilled veal chop. Portions on all these were good and the presentation OK but not inspiring. The veal chop was a little raw around the bone. Flavors on all were OK.The tables in the main dining room are small and a little bit close as a result of noise level was a little high when the restaurant got crowded. There is a good wine selection, but no spirits. The highlight of the meal for me was the coconut cake for dessert. It was excellent with great flavor. Our server did a good job. She was cordial and attentive, but not overbearing. The food came out after a reasonable amount of time and was warm. With several glasses of wine our bill came out to $258 before tip which I felt was a bit on the pricey side.”
“absolutely wonderful everything we ate was great the people were wonderful the atmosphere was right on for an Italian style restaurant. planning on going back again”

“Michael's on East (MOE) is one of the best fine dining establishments in Sarasota and has been in business for nearly 40 years. Ive been a customer for nearly 30 of those 40 years and despite its maturity, MOE is still hot, hopping and a crowd pleaser for those who enjoy great food, wines and service. During its nearly four decades, MOE has been wowing patrons with its fine cuisine, decor, and outstanding service. Don't be surprised if you see actors, comedians and musicians who might be performing at the Van Wezel during the winter season, sitting next to you because the concierge at their hotel recommended MOE as one of the desirable restaurants for a sensational meal, wine and service. MOE is rich in Sarasota heritage and is the perfect choice to celebrate a special occasion with that very special guest or guests. It's a delight in every way.”

“We went to this restaurant for my daughters birthday. She had been there previously for her husband‘s birthday, so she wanted to go back for hers. All in all the service was excellent, very attentive. I can’t say I wasn’t happy with my food because he asked my daughter if she wanted her steak medium rare that she had and he didn’t ask me if I wanted my steak on my Noodles meet them where are we are done so when it came, it was medium rare I can’t eat me to where I feel like blood in my mouth so I asked him to go back and make it well done so they actually went back and literally bought the meat to every bite that I took take it tasted like burnt grill Choco pie crispy very unhappy with my meal very dissatisfied but other than that my daughter like to hurtful my son-in-law like this food oh my granddaughter, she did not eat her food but all in all it was OK experience just not happy with my food”

“Perfect addition to the Sarasota restaurant scene! We made it for dinner on a Friday night along with another couple. Parked nearby at the State Street Garage. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. The restaurant has two floors with the second floor overlooking the ground floor dining room and large rectangular bar. The entire first floor is floor to ceiling glass with a great view of Lemon street activities. Nice vibe and it's not overly loud inside. Our Initial seating upstairs was not to our liking (a little closed in) and we were able to move to a table on the sidewalk out-front (which made for great people watching). Although it's on the street the traffic is light and slow and there's pedestrians coming and going. It was also a beautiful evening out. This is a Tapas restaurant and the menu features many different to pick from along with shareable Paella dishes. To start we ordered 4 tapas to share (Pan Con Tomate, Pollo Ajillo, Croquetas, Alcahofas Fritas) and the Mariscos Paella (which takes about 45 minutes). We also ordered a pitcher of the Sangria Rusbusto which has additional 12 yr brandy to add depth to the flavor. Good portion and great flavor for 3 of us that were drinking. The tapas were delivered to the table in sequential fashion which was nice as it gave a chance to try each one with out rushing. The portions were sometimes 3, 4 or 5 pieces so with 4 of we split what what was already portioned out. Regardless, the flavors were all amazing and the portions good for a Tapa. After the initial Tapas and while waiting for the paella we also ordered the Spanish Grilled cheese. It was by far my favorite with the bread crunchy and the melted Manchego cheese and spicy aioli giving it a burst of flavor with a kick. I'd come for happy hour and just get the Grilled Cheese in the future.About this time the hot pan of paella showed up. Nice presentation with the prawns on the top and good depth of flavor on the rice portion of the dish intermixed with seafood. I've eaten plenty of paella and this one was tight up there. For desert we opted to split the Flan. It's made differently from flan I've had in the past. A lot lighter and creamy with a good flavor.About the time we were finishing up the Manager (Ashley) came by to query about our meal. After small talk and her raving about the cheesecake she comp'd us one. It was excellent.Throughout the meal Carolina, our waitress, did a great job. She was very knowledgeable on the menu and answered all our questions. She never rushed us and was attentive but not overly. We had heard a lot about Beso before coming and it exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, service and food were excellent. Kudos to the staff for making our meal with our friends memorable. Not sure who's cooking there but the Head Chef and kitchen staff should be commended for the quality, presentation and taste of everything we had. We'll be back!”

“I went to Circo for food and drinks with my friend's and had a great experience. Our bartender Nik was amazing and made me a jalapeño mango margarita and it was the BEST margarita I’ve ever had! I highly recommend anyone to come here if they’re looking for good drinks, food and amazing service.”
“The food was amazing. I ordered a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. It had a perfectly cooked crust and the flavor was immaculate. Other than the amazing food, the service was top tier. The owner took our order and engaged in conversations with us while maintaining professional. The atmosphere/ambiance in the restaurant was super positive. High energy and I felt the positivity through my whole meal. Definitely will go back whenever I'm in Sarasota.”
“A friend recommended this nice Turkish restaurant to me. My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The Borrek was light and fresh with the tzatziki. The Doner kabab and Iskender were both excellent and with large portions. Highly recommend both.”
“I gave Shore 4 stars for not for the food but for the atmosphere. It's a sexy cool spot in heart of St. Armand's Circle. The staff was friendly. We went at 2pm thinking we'd missed the lunch crowd. The place was still packed. We only had to wait 15-20 minutes though. Drinks were great, had the Bee Keeper, Barrel Aged Cocktail and Espresso Martini. Started with the Crispy Bao Buns. I got the Tuna Tartare as my entree, hubs had the Faroe Island Salmon, you can see by his empty plate (forgot to take a before pic) that he enjoyed it. The tuna tartare was fresh and light. I feel there is "always something" good, bad or indifferent when dining out. My "always something" for Shore was the crispy bao buns. I know it says it in the name but I think one of the great thing about bao buns is the pillowy goodness and these crispy ones just missed the mark for me. All in all Shore is a great place to go grab a bite while shopping St. Armands Circle.”
“Excellent food, the dishes are delicious, I tried the pork masita and the fried cow and I saw the dishes from other tables delicious, to take away I ordered the suckling pig sandwich which is extremely large and super delicious, the smoothies were super good, I felt very well cared for , we will be back very soon.”

“Just found this place today while eating across the street at Tony's Chicago Beef and I'm glad I stopped in to check it out, these cookies are fantastic! Will definitely be back often. May have to gift some of these for the Holidays as well!”
“Updated 3/30/24 with more photos. We visited my parents in Sarasota and this was our first time at Seasons 52. We loved it! The atmosphere was awesome, the food was great!I love their scallops, they are just perfect along with the risotto. On a more recent visit 3/24/24) they had asparagus with the Scallops instead of the broccoli. My parents love the Salmond salad, but my dad commented that on our most recent trip (3/24/24) that the salmon was a little dry. From 3/24/24, my husband said the lamb was good but a little chewy, he had to chew a lot. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot on either side of the mall.Parking: The Sarasota restaurant is located in a shopping mall, so there’s lots of free parking.”

“We tried Tripletail for the first time and it did not disappoint. Our stunning server, Lily, was very attentive and knowledgeable. My husband tried a smoked bourbon and said it was very good, I had a tasty white sangria. We shared the shrimp and crab dip app. Our entrees were delicious. We had the tripletail, and we highly recommend this. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and they were equally as good. We highly recommend visiting Tripletail Seafood in Sarasota.”

“Lovely lunch spot, amazing menu for Vega and gluten free! We'll be back, what a great find! I think it was the owner explained who it all to us, she's such a delightful woman! We had the buckwheat pancakes, the gyro, celery juice, and the root chakra tonic. Yumalicious!!Vegetarian options: EVERYTHING is vegan!Dietary restrictions: EVERYTHING is gluten free!”

“This was such a wonderful meal! My wife & I traveled all the way down from Tampa because we are lacking sit-down, plant-based restaurants in our area. Ka Papa did not disappoint! Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent as well. Highly recommend, even if you aren’t plant-based!”
“I'm not kidding when I say this has been the best coffee we have ever had. The craftsmanship and quality of each drink and flavor is like no other coffee we have had! Besides being the best coffee we have had it has also been the nicest down to earth people we have met and so glad to say it is finally a good positive experience for us everyday going to see Gabi and Patrick. Our Daily drinks are the Blueberry Dream and New Orleans cold brew coffee which are dramatically different but equally amazing id order a flight to try all of them! Thanks for adding such a pleasant local place to Sarasota!Vegetarian options: They have all your milk preferencesParking: Easy little parking lot for all shops in the plazaKid-friendliness: Super nice People people welcome everyone (they have hot chocolate ;) )”
“Fantastic vibe on a weekend night. My friend and I did not prefer all the cheese they put on the mushroom tart, would have been better served under the mushrooms or not and just add Parmesan atop.My friend had the snapper and I the octopus. Would have loved a flame broil on it , like most places instead of the soft exterior. The fish my friend had was good but the heavy sauce it laid in was much too much richness for a fish.Wines were pretty decent that I had. And the service was ok ....it IS just a bar we sat at.Would definitely go back to try more ...”
“We went last night for dinner, and from the table the service, the food and the cocktails my girlfriend and I were very satisfied !Crab cake and Branzino was just perfect!”
“We found this little place on line and were missing our Greek places from back in NY. We picked a day that someone hit a power pole so no lights. That did not stop them from serving, all but the soda machine. Amazing Gyro and Chicken Slovakia. Our server was a sweetheart and made sure everyone was taken care. Best Pita we have had in a while!!!! Thank you for making lemonade of or lemons!!!!”
“Our first visit to Figaro Bistro, and it was fantastic! Great staff, cozy vibe, and the food was EXCELLENT! They were serving a favorite of mine Cassoulet! It’s hard to find, and it was executed perfectly! My wife had the Scallops…also delicious! We will definitely come back. Highly recommend Figaro Bistro!Bravo to all at the restaurant!”
“This is ALWAYS a favorite! You can’t beat the food, and the service is AMAZING! We had a bit of a wait tonight. However: 1) It was worth the wait. And 2) the staff was very kind during our wait. In fact, they were bringing complimentary hush puppies out for everyone waiting. This place is one of those places in Sarasota that you absolutely cannot miss!”
“Absolutely love the matcha, so earthy and delicious! Mannie and Amanda have made me four different drinks so far, all of which I have loved. This coffee is so flavorful and perfectly roasted on its own that you don’t need sugar to mask any bitter or burned taste that you find at the chain cafes around here. Amanda has introduced me to oat milk and I’m loving that too.”
“Food was fantastic and our server Abbey was wonderful. Very attentive and gave us great suggestions. We had the lobster appetizer, followed by soup and salad. For entree my husband had the Steak Diane and I had the crispy duck. We finished with chocolate mousse for dessert. So decadent! We will definitely keep it on the list for special occasions. A little too pricey for every weekend option.”
“My family had an amazing experience today at Jake’s. As a person with a lot of food allergies there is nothing more comforting then a place that invites conversation around individual dietary needs. From the signs posted letting you know to mention allergies, to checking ingredients, and taste testing-every moment made me feel safe to enjoy ice cream with my family. Thank you for all of your work to help make quality products that accommodate food allergies. Thank you for the kindness and passion that is clearly poured into every moment. It is the small moments that really make a difference and Jake’s is amazing at creating joy through small moments and interactions! Added bonus-the ice cream is beyond words good! So happy to have found this ice cream shop!”
“Had a truly wonderful experience at this new ramen place in downtown Sarasota. Impeccable service, delicious food, and wonderful presentation. So happy we have such a great place in downtown Sarasota. Run don’t walk.”
“We enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Barbara was attentive and took very good care of us; as did all the staff. The food was fresh, well presented and very flavorful. Highly recommend and we shall return.”

“The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. The food selection met our expectations. The meats, although good, they could have been seasoned a little better. But they were very consistent and timely bringing the food.Overall, it is a great place to eat. Be ready to eat a lot!!!!Parking: There is plenty of parking spaces.”
“Simply said, PHENOMENAL! Emelio, Rosie and staff are fantastic! The food is sensational! I certainly think it’s one the best restaurants in Sarasota! Bravo!! Can’t wait to go back!”
“Bar Hana and Kojo are my favorite to restaurants in Sarasota. The quality of the food and cocktails are unmatched. Everything is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. The ambiance in Bar Hana is so tropical and relaxing.”
“I can’t say enough good about Rosemary and Thyme! The food and drinks are wonderful, and the service is next level. From management to bartenders to servers- such positive interactions, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness. We always book on open table, and typically go for special occasions, and they’ve made it so special each time!”
“A nice little cafe with patio seating in downtown Sarasota. The ambiance is very nice with the restaurant's indoor and outdoor seating - you can people watch during the farmers market. Food quality is superb here. The breakfast bowl was delicious in every way. Service was efficient but not the absolute best. Prices are a little bit inflated for the offerings, but typical Sarasota fare nowadays.”
“The seafood sampler was delicious- the scallops melt in your mouth like butter. The ocean scampi was good, but the garlic was a bit overpowering. Pleasant staff and comfortable outdoor seating… it was nice for a higher end meal.”
“They have a 5 star team and work together flawlessly. Not one employee passed by our table without stopping if it looked like something needed cleared. Fred (our waiter) was quirky, kind, and delightful! Best waiter we had all week! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. 3rd round of mussels this week at other restaurants and Clayton’s was by far the BEST. The Clayton salad is light and the dressing is tasty. The butter they serve with the bread is different than any I’ve tasted and I could eat it with a spoon. The crab cakes were excellent and seared to perfection. The scallops melt in your mouth. We WILL be back.”
“Great Happy Hour If you can score a seat at the bar or at a table in the bar area and it’s before 5:45pm, you can get a great deal. Drinks, including their house cocktails and most of their wines, are half off. There’s a nice list of small plates at excellent prices that are also available. We started with a couple of good cocktails. Then we shared the delicious happy hour fried shrimp. We followed that with the happy hour mussels—one of the best bowl of mussels I’ve had in a while. It was served with a basket of bread that was perfect to sop up the lovely mussel broth. Next we had the happy hour ceviche which was a generous serving and really tasty. We moved off the happy hour menu to get the Monkfish, which is discounted in the early evening. You don’t see monkfish on menus very often, and this one was very good. It comes with a soup or salad and we chose the delicious clam chowder. The plate it nicely composed with a starch and veg accompanying the monkfish. A shout out to our server, Barbara, who was very kind, helpful and efficient and moved us along at a pleasant, unrushed pace. We enjoyed our dinner very much and we hope to return.”
“Wonderful experience each time we are visiting, doing such a remarkable job for a newly opened restaurant! The Staff go out of their way to please customers and are gracious to offer a welcoming dish as a treat each time you'll visit! Presentation is superb with mini LED light & Orchids flowers... Quality is fresh & good... A pleasure to have this restaurant in our neighborhood!...”
“What a great experience! Wendy , Ivo and The man himself Pietro made our anniversary dinner amazing ! The Chicken Franchese was so tender and delicious. The veal chop with the Parmesan Risotto was even better. Highly recommend this place. What made the evening so great was the how well the staff worked together to make our visit perfect. Fantastic teamwork that made us feel like family! This is something you do not see often .. Cheers to you & your team Pete ! John & Heather”
“We were a party of 8, and consensus was a solid 4 for the food, and 5 stars for service (our waiter was Mark). My only complaint is they reserve all the close parking for valet; not much of a complaint, but why tho...?This was our 2nd visit and we will be back.”
“This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and they have tons of vegan and gluten free options. Best vegan sushi you can imagine and they have such a great variety of options in general. Shout out to our server Shayne - he was so kind, attentive and pleasant and really made our night. He made excellent recommendations and was really knowledgeable about the menu.”
“Excellent Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. Homemade pasta. Really good fresh bread. Owners are lovely. Great wine list. Beer list was interesting. No cocktails. Wine and beer only. The staff was very impressive.”
“Simply the best Indian cuisine I have ever had. I have been to many Indian restaurants, but this one had great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and a friendly staff! I would highly recommend trying this restaurant!”

“Our wait staff, Donny and Shawn, were very attentive and dealt with a large party well. We ordered off the menu and the appetizers and entrees were very good, came out at the same time, and were enjoyed by all.”
“Had a great nite with Family & friends. Drinks were cold , bartenders were great attentive, and very personable. I great place to relax , meet people and enjoy being with family & friends!”
“Who doesn’t love Waffle House?! Tasty food, fast service and the staff is always very friendly! This is our favorite local WH :)Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. They gave my 1 year old a Waffle House Hat to play with at her last visit which was so sweet!”
“Amazing sundown experience. Started my afternoon at the Tiki bar which was a good call. They were short staffed and helping with orders on the beach. Though Solo, it was a semi quiet bar family and children friendly. Shout out to (Joe) who attended to me and was very attentive. After my meal I went to lounge. Beach waiters were attentive as well i.e water bucket and umbrella etc. I felt well attended to though I did not require much. I want to applaud management towards the etiquette and team spirit the men and women had. I could hear many complaints of orders being skipped or taking too long, yet felt the crew did thier best by compensating in other area's. I do have to say to update the beach lounge chairs they are very uncomfortable.”
“So this was my first time at a Wawa. My compadre is from the east coast so he told me I had to try their sub sandwiches. We don't have these in the PNW and I wish they did.Truthfully, I do not like sandwiches and do not eat them if I had a choice, unless it's a Vietnamese Banh mi. We went in and you can customize your sandwich on the kiosk and they make it for you. Grabbed our Agua fresca that he is obsessed with, paid and waited for our order. We shared the sandwich because I never finish and it was surprisingly good and such a cheap meal.Just thinking about it, I'm craving a Wawa sandwich. Overall, it's clean here, there's seating outside and super convenient. Better than hitting up a fast food joint.I'll be back again soon.”
“Went to Denny's for Easter breakfast and was seated right away from the waitress. They were very friendly and the food came out hot not long after we ordered.”
“Our order taker didn't understand our order 3 x's and still the order wasn't correct when we picked up our food. But the food was good and we went on our merry way.”
“I had a pleasant take-out breakfast experience this morning, and my mobile order came out promptly and fresh. Kim was very helpful, and offered me a drink carrier since I had a lot to carry out to the car. The service this morning was excellent. Thank you Kim + the rest of the morning team!”

“Had a truly wonderful experience at this new ramen place in downtown Sarasota. Impeccable service, delicious food, and wonderful presentation. So happy we have such a great place in downtown Sarasota. Run don’t walk.”

“Coco’s Bistro is 3000% spectacular! This charmingly delightful Venezuelan restaurant serves up the best Pico de gallo in all of Florida! This is a “bucket list” stop for all road trip travelers. You receive the best Venezuelan food, The Queen Arepa is a fresh, warm, delicious guacamole and shredded chicken that is served with a Coco’s sauce. The Pico de Gallo Arepa is tremendously delicious with the sweetest tiny red tomatoes blended in the fresh homemade Pico de Gallo. The staff treat you like family and there is no wait for your food, it is all served fresh and authentic right to you. The dining atmosphere is clean, with a city vibe and small town charm wrapped up in Venezuelan spirit. Lastly, the real hidden gem is the sweet desserts they make. Try the Dulce de Leche, it has the wonderful flavor of caramello!!! Best Venezuelan food in all of Florida!!!”

“Absolutely delicious, authentic, and incredible Peruvian food. Ken was our host and spoke with so much passion about the menu, it was very contagious. The Fish Ceviche is to die for, and by far our favorite kind of ceviche. We got the Pescado a lo Macho and Seco de Carne. The yellow pepper sauce for the Pescado was perfectly balanced with flavor and the slightest sweetness. The Seco de Carne was perfection, the beef and beans had been slow cooked for hours and melted in my mouth.I usually go for Lomo Saltado (get Lomo if you haven’t had Peruvian before) but wanted to branch out more and this was the perfect alternative. We also tried the Suspiro, which is a small sweet dessert that’s a Peruvian favorite.Overall an amazing experience, I wish I had a second stomach to just keep on eating but I was scared I’d burst if I had any more. We will for sure be back!”

“Honest opinion is it was great! First time there today and the fries alone were the best i ever had. Imagine a them tasty chic fila fries but ten time better and actually crispy. Even after a ten minute drive home! Sandwich was great. And the shakes, domt even get me started. Their name, People dedicated to quality, id say so forsure!”
“A super clean and surprisingly urban hip restaurant for the location. We started with a large order of rodeo fries. Then, we got various sausages which were all delicious. Friendly staff helped us with food selection as this was our first visit to Rocketdog. There are more items on the menu I want to try, so I will be back.”
“Diner style location with clean self serve counter. Best hot dog I’ve had in SRQ. Fries are straw style and crispy and warm when served. Can’t wait to go back and try something else and may even try a sundae- they looked great. Super casual diner - highly recommend!”
“The fries were out of this World !!! Customer service 5 stars ! Quick and delicious!Amazing food ! The Owner makes his own spice blends , sauces and sour cream this is a perfect spot for a delicious meal. I recommend the quesadilla. This is a can’t miss Sarasota Gem !!! Best of the Best !!!Dietary restrictions: Ask for dietary restrictionsKid-friendliness: Kid friendly modifications allowed”
“Our waitress Gretchen was fabulous!!! They were super busy and under staffed and she handled it with a great friendly attitude!!! We were patient and ordered drinks and appetizers and just waited for the crowds to clear out and had a nice relaxing dinner. The wings and Ribs were excellent the sliced brisket was a little dry and not much flavor.”
“My 2nd visit. Quick lunch, I heard the fish sandwich was delicious. It surely was sooo good! My 1st bite, I looked at the sandwich to say how can you taste this delicious. Now, for customer service, the young man was so kind . When I was leaving, he held the door and actually remembered my name and said, "Have a wonderful day! Wow, let me hire him, amazing!”
“Food was great. Service was ok. Two of the ladies were gossiping while our server was working. The manager I guess got upset she had to sweep, while our server was getting our order out. Overall it was decent, kinda noisy right next to the road. Pricey though.”
“Amazing service as well as Amazing food. The portions are enough for you to enjoy. They welcome everyone with a huge smile. The atmosphere is very elegant and the staff is very attentive. I am definitely going back.!!!!!”

“Great tasting food to take home after a busy day shopping and never leave your car !!Parking: Park and eat at their umbrella tables or go through their drive throughKid-friendliness: They can eat outside with parents or never leave the car and take it home”
“One of MANY Bucks locations I patronize for my daily afternoon joe, depending on where I am in SRQ. This place is always clean, friendly, and has what I am looking for. The patio view is...well...traffic, but the interior has the nice feel of someone's den. It's quiet, cool and dark and feels somehow studious. I like it. ”
“I love coming to Dunkin donuts were there coffee for there bacon or there sandwiches as well as their donuts as well as speaking to someone for my mom to get a job is going to be employed with this company.”
“My boyfriend and i decided to try this one out because we go very often and had a bad experience at another one. we enjoyed this one very much! Ruby was a very kind and sweet worker! she made the best açaí bowl i've ever had!!! best smoothie kind in town hands down!!”
“My uncle Tim recommended that my family and I check Spearfish out. We spent a long weekend in Siesta Key and this was by far the best food we had! It wasn’t “touristy” like a lot of other places nearby - it was just GOOD. The food Eric cooked on the green egg was some of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.”
Fine Dining
“It was my girlfriend 31st birthday, the night started a little sour as we had to wait over 10 mins after being seated for a waiter to greet us though they were not busy. They did apologize for the mix up and after that the night was great, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. She enjoyed her birthday and for that, thank you.”
“Bit costly $$$ but one of the best places I have been in. I don't review all places I go to but this is totally 5 star. We had 6 people and we ordered some appetizers and lab chops as main plus other things. Every plate and drink was delicious. But mostly this place worth its money is the stuff (sevrers)! All of them nice and polite even management.”
“This restaurant provides truly refined andexcellent food and is worthy of a "big city". The challenge is whether Sarasota is "big enough" and sufficiently sophisticated for it at this stage. Come on Sarasota, prove that you are up to this challenge, or is it to be burgers and pizza for you all for ever?”
“This place was absolutely amazing!!! All the way around!! Great food at reasonable prices, excellent service, and an ambiance that was warm and relaxing. A definite 10/10!!!!”
“Unbelievable, happy hour Bordeaux amazing. Then stayed for dinner. Had the fish special! Cocktails are innovative try the smoked old fashioned or Manhattan presentation was amazing. EVERYTHING amazing! Service was exceptional.”
“We LOVE this place!! When we come to Sarasota if we don’t have a beverage at the bar it’s a lost day. Jasmine and Hannah make happy hour, or ANY hour, that much better!”
“sadly driving by yesterday sign on door says permantely closed peeked inside and it looks cleaned outfrom the siesta sandLeases not renewed by 2 businesses in VillageThe Seafood Joint, located at 217 Avenida Madera, and the neighboring Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream, located at 219 Avenida Madera, have permanently closed their doors.Neither have had their leases renewed effective Sept. 1 and did not pursue other leasing options, according to the Davidson family — landlords for the building that houses the two businesses.”
“We had the most amazing dinner last night. Absolutely wonderful as usual. The food and service is always spot on. We always look forward to having dinner here. Just can't say enough good things about Tortellino Bistrot.”

“Unbelievably good tacos and unique. Tried the Al Pastor, shrimp, duck, pork belly, and birria. They were all so good I can’t decide which I liked best. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back soon.”
“My family and I spent the afternoon at this pleasant ice cream shop. In addition to the excellent quality of the ice cream, the service was fantastic, including the pets. This filled me with joy.”
“Just had your lunch specials of chicken curry soup and the 1/2 wrap of turkey BLT. Very good! Soup had great flavor but not spicy. The turkey, bacon, tomato and arugula in the wrap were perfect!”
“I went there for lunch today and the food was delicious. I had the pork shank and it was like butter it just melted in your mouth. I also got some Wienerschnitzel to go and a lot of desserts for later. the staff was very nice and they even wrote Happy Birthday on my dessert box.”
“We were in town and looking for authentic Korean food. Charlie's was fantastic - truly home cooking !! Fresh food made to order. Our meal was outstanding and cannot recommend more highly - truly great food!! Thank you !!!”
“Love the staff, food and location. That being said, we came here 3 times in a week. Twice for breakfast and once for lunch - each time with our dog. The breakfasts are really good: Denver omelette with their potatoes, avocado toast, even their grits are tasty. They have biscuits for the dogs as well as a fresh water bowl… what’s not to like? We leave for home tomorrow, so today was our last time for this trip!”
“Heidi is amazing! She was our server the first time we ever ate here and now we ask for her everytime we come back.Vegetarian options: Best Avocado toast I ever had! ?”
“Food was excellent...so many great choices ! The only thing better was our server Sara ! Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive ! Looking forward to returning soon !”
“First time here.. crab cakes are amazing! Perfectly cooked slightly crispy outside and tender and butter inside. The lobster roll was one of the best I've ever had! Will definitely be back here. I can't believe I've passed this place up so many times!”
“Tacos El Costeno is a hidden gem. We tried it on our first night in Sarasota, based on all of the glowing reviews, and it did not disappoint. My husband had a steak taco and pork taco and my daughter had a chicken taco. The tacos came with cilantro, lime, onion, and slices of radishes. Based on one review I saw, I went for a gordita with chorizo, and it was amazing. The dough was freshly fried. The chorizo was so flavorful. I was in heaven. 1 gordita for dinner was plenty for me to feel full. The food was served with 2 sauces to add on--one green and one red and both were great. I liked that there were picnic tables to eat freshly cooked food that was brought out to us. My only gripe was that the tables are close to a road that has a decent amount of traffic going by, so it was a bit loud. But not a big deal overall. We will absolutely visit this place again during our time in Sarasota!”
“I recently visited Eleni's Pizza Works and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. I ordered the classic gyro platter with a Caesar salad on the side. What I really appreciated was the fact that I could choose any salad of my choice to go with my platter, which gave me the freedom to customize my meal to my liking. The gyro platter itself was fantastic - the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the pita bread was fresh and warm. The Caesar salad was also delicious, with a tangy dressing and plenty of crunchy croutons. Aside from the food, I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The décor was modern and sleek, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Overall, I would highly recommend Eleni's Pizza Works to anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for pizza, pasta, or something a little more adventurous like the gyro platter, you won't be disappointed. And with such a pleasant atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a romantic night out.”
“So many choices, it was so good. We had the Key lime, orange, birthday cake, coffee and cookies and cream. Super friendly staff, easy in and out. Must try if in Sarasota area.”
“Waited like 15-20 mins.Maybe I shouldn't have gone for the hot banana flavor, though. Cornmeal pancake was a bit rougher than the buttermilk, you could really feel them grains.”
“We love Summer Tap and all their delicious vegan options! The food is always made fresh right in front of you. It’s a great place to meet for lunch with friends, take the kids after school or stop by for a quick tasty juice. Highly recommend!”
“I'd highly recommend Sarasota Bakehouse. I was looking for vegan cupcakes for a baby shower, so thank goodness I found SB. Vincent was very helpful and knowledgeable of his products, and the cupcakes were delicious. Thank you, SB!!!”
“It was amazing, I asked the gas clerk how the food was and he recommended the fried rice with chicken. I have to say it smelled yummy and when I got home and had some it was amazing. Love trying new places to eat and love helping the community. Go try them out. Friendly service as well.”

“We went there for a Sunday brunch. The cafe is in the backyard of a home that is tastefully decorated resembling English tea rooms. They offer a very friendly service with a fixed menu. The food is okay but it is not the main attraction for this place. you will leave the place with a feeling that you will be back. We all had a great time.”
“Excellent Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. Homemade pasta. Really good fresh bread. Owners are lovely. Great wine list. Beer list was interesting. No cocktails. Wine and beer only. The staff was very impressive.”
“Simply the best Indian cuisine I have ever had. I have been to many Indian restaurants, but this one had great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and a friendly staff! I would highly recommend trying this restaurant!”
“We celebrated my wife's 70th last night. When we arrived the tablecloth was glowing with little bright multicolored stars and circles. Sean, our sever, was amazing, genuinely friendly, genuinely representing the best menu choices, just so tuned into what we might enjoy. The French onion soup was excellent and in some mystical way the bread has the occasional crunch even though it was submerged in the broth. The South African lobster tails were sweet and tender, and frankly better than the best possible New England lobster. The sliced filet with onion, mushrooms and "fig essence" was perfect. Dessert was on the house for the birthday girl and it too was excellent.”

“This is one of the best find dining experiences in the Sarasota area. A great menu, outstanding craft cocktails and a great selection of reasonably priced wines by the glass.”
“Stopped in for dinner. Amazing food and atmosphere staff are friendly great mid week deals, good price for high standard food. I cannot say enough about how enjoyable our dining experience was!”
“We went there 2x the several days we were down here. The place is very busy in the morning, but the most we had to wait was about 20 minutes (which was fine because the weather outside is wonderful)! The staff were all pleasant and they run this place like a well oiled machine. Food was great too, and you could do lunch or breakfast all day!”
“Highly recommend: found Bohemios via Google reviews while visiting Sarasota from out of town! Reviews and photos were really good so my GF and I came to try it.Lived up to expectations! Food tasted delicious. Tried 6 different menu items enjoyed them all. Fun atmosphere. Quick service from a friendly staff. You won’t be disappointed!”
“The food is delicious! If you are looking for drinks, burgers, or pizza highly recommend. The staff is amazing. Tell Dave, David and D’Ann sent you. And don’t forget you can take your furry friends if their vaccinations are up-to-date and the have been spade or neutered.”
“Excellent and authentic Vietnamese food cheerfully served in a clean space at reasonable prices. What more could you want? The banh mi bread and grilled pork were fresh and delicious. The pho was less sweet than some but had that pure, clean lime 'kick' that only good pho has. I'll be back as soon as possible. Thanks!”
“We really enjoy having dinner with Mike. It's a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. Wir sind sehr gerne bei Mike zum Essen. Es ist eine tolle Atmosphäre und das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker.”
“Went to Bavaro’s tonight for dinner and can’t say enough good things. The ambiance, the service was top notch, the chairs so comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Steven (I hope that was his name) was beyond professional and I couldn’t ask for better. Prices are fair and the wine list is inviting. We started with the fire grilled broccolini which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Had a lovely super Tuscan with my penne with vodka sauce and shrimp. You could literally taste every delicious layer of flavor in this sauce. My boyfriend had the wild grilled salmon and we split the roasted broccolini for an appetizer. Completed with two home made delicious cannoli’s to go. The salmon but it was cooked perfectly and a huge piece of salmon (like 8oz) Will definitely be back and absolutely encourage anyone looking for real authentic Italian to check it out.”
“We received impeccable service from Miguel, our waiter, at Carrabba's. The culinary experience was exceptional; the penne pasta was simply divine, and our order was executed flawlessly. Without a doubt, we'll be returning and wholeheartedly recommending this restaurant to anyone in search of a delightful Italian dining experience. Our sincere gratitude to Carrabba's, and a special thank you to Miguel for his outstanding service.”
“How does this place only have a 4.1 out of 5 rating, 4.8 MINIMUM!!! We come here three to four times a year every time we come on vacation in Sarasota and I’ve never had more of a consistently perfect meal anywhere. Prime rib is literally perfection. Professional waitstaff and excellent bartenders. Manager has always right before your meal has finished stopped at the table to make sure you’re happy. A+”

Flobucha
“Whatever you tasted before... Flobucha is the best Kombucha you'll ever experience. It's natural and not pasteurized, so all the healthy ingredients are still inside - and it tastes absolutely awesome with just the right amount of fruity taste and sparkle. The 6 different varieties are carefully developed with selected ingredients. I personally love the POG, the Guava Ginger and the Blackberry versions. Like the other varieties, they're topped off with additional herbs, creating a amazing balanced flavor. Flobucha is perfect in the morning for a good start into the day, all through the day as a refreshment and as an incredible alternative beverage for lunch or diner. And fun fact: It's brewed locally with lot's of love and care. Fun fact two: Flobucha is very low on calories, so they are good for any form of diet, too. Go directly to the brewery in Sarasota and you might meet the owner himself, always friendly and caring for his customers and the community, and very enthusiastic with Flobucha. Alternatively, you'll find Flobucha in many restaurants in the area. Ask for it - you will love it.”
“This was our first experience at Amore and we truly enjoyed our evening--the food, the service, the atmosphere and the music by pianist Eddie Tobin. My husband and I shared and enjoyed our first Portuguese specialty (Cataplana Alantejana) which consisted of marinated pork tenderloin with clams, potato and red pepper broth. We also enjoyed a delicious dessert, a cake with lemoncello, and a bottle of Albarino wine. But though the restaurant was full and there was music, it was not noisy like so many restaurants and there was a charm that only happens in a family owned and operated restaurant. Kudos to the owners and staff who meet every request with a smile.Parking: It's a shopping center and at night there is plenty of parking.”
“Delightful local coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the ingredients. I had chicken salad on a bed of fresh greens and all the extras, walnuts, avocado, cranberries, red onion and a zesty citrus dressing they call their own. Delicious!”
“The best greek salad that I’ve had in North America! Reminded me of the Greek salads that I would get in Greece when I went 5 years ago. Also had the tzatziki with pita and was superb! Service was just as good as the food, the restaurant was very clean, and loved the Greek themed decor! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for really good authentic Greek food.”

SHORE DINER
“We went with family while in Sarasota on vacation. The restaurant was not busy at all because the tourist season is starting to wind down which will last only about a month. Staff was friendly. The menu had some great choices. From fish to ribs to fried chicken. All were well prepared and not too salty. Everything came out hot. The specialty drinks were very good too with a good variety. A little pricier than some other restaurants on St. Armand’s circle, but not by much. I highly recommend this establishment for an excellent meal.”
“Everything was incredible! The server we had was so sweet (Annalise? I’m terrible with names) and the food was just so so good. I would go back in a heartbeat.”
“This is a very nice High end Restaurant on Sarasota Bay and Siesta Key. Atmosphere was phenomenal. Somehow we ended up with a premier table on the edge of the water overlooking the Bay, with the giant fish entertaining us at the Fish lights. The service was very good, we always felt attended to. The Quality of food and drinks was excellent, we were extremely satisfied with our meal.Would highly recommend for a high end restaurant experience.Parking: Parking lot is Valet only.”
“The atmosphere is vibrant and chic, perfect for a night out. The food is a culinary masterpiece, with every dish bursting with flavor and artfully presented. Service is top-notch, attentive without being intrusive. Definitely the go-to spot in Sarasota for an unforgettable dining experience. Can't wait to go back!”
“Excellent place for delicious sushi with generous portions. Miso soup is excellent here and they also have Kirin Ichiban, Sapporo beer and Kirin Light - all delicious beers.”
“Next time we will sit outside a bit hot insideCould you use better serviceThe young kid was delightful he was more of a buster than the order waiter a little bit more attention to detail on tables would be nice the freshness of the food was incredible.. we will be back The Young Man the buster was so nice. The waiter could use a more joyful attitude.. overall rating it a 7 out of 10.Parking: Located in a strip mall.Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Small restaurant but accommodations for handicap accessible access is available.”
“If you’re a foodie and adventurous with food, you need to try the Chef’s table. Chef Joe offers an incredible 8 course meal. He uses only fresh ingredients and mixes flavors to create true art! Most importantly…Bring your appetite!”
“Really nice brewery. Great beer, friendly and knowledgeable staff, corn hole, live music. Great place to spend an afternoon. We have been going every week since I discovered it! One of the best in Sarasota.”
“We were a party of 8, and consensus was a solid 4 for the food, and 5 stars for service (our waiter was Mark). My only complaint is they reserve all the close parking for valet; not much of a complaint, but why tho...?This was our 2nd visit and we will be back.”
“If I could I would give it 10 stars. We are visiting for the week but I am from Peru and was so excited to find this gem. If we were local we would absolutely be regulars. Wonderful service and the food was an experience out of the world. It’s been a few years since I have been to Lima and that ceviche took me right back. Beautiful! Delicious!!”
“We have been to Fiorella's 4 times since the first of the year. I believe they opened in August of 2022. We chose to try it in the first place because it was open on Sundays and the menu looked very appealing. The chef and servers are great. The pasta (house made) dishes are especially good. There is typically a starter, pasta and entrée special each night. The bruschetta starter is unique, not your typical style, and awesome we get it every time we go. The chef is willing to accommodate a diners personal wants and needs. The portions are a perfect size, not too big and not too small. We haven't tried every dish on the menu yet but those that we've had were excellent. It's a small intimate type of restaurant. Make your reservations early for the weekends because they fill up fast. We took friends with us the last 3 times we went there and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. This is fast becoming our new favorite Italian restaurant!”

“Natasha was the best bartender I ever had. She was so attentive and knowledgeable about all the drinks. I highly recommend this location- it was very clean and the food was good. 10/10”
“I would pick every recommendation possible for this restaurant. Excellent server and staff. Out of bounds drinks. Great food! Relaxing atmosphere!! What more can you ask for?? Really?? What more? Love this restaurant and will recommend to everyone know.”

“We have visited this establishment several times, both to eat and also to purchase seafood. After our visit for lunch today (and to purchase jumbo lump), I want to take the time to give them a review. The food is always awesome. It does not matter what you order. We had the Ahi Tuna and Crabcake appetizer today and they were perfect. I had the Crabby BLT (possibly the best sandwich I have ever had) and my wife had the Blackened Mahi Tacos (which I had a bit of). They were also perfect. If you love fresh seafood prepared perfectly, then look no further. Thanks Devon and family!”
“Just perfect. It's not often a restaurant can tick off all the boxes well. They did just that last night before the opera. Pleasant at walking in, greeted and seated very pleasantly. Service was at the perfect cadence never rushed and respectful of our opera start. Nor did anyone try to clear the table early, a practice I loathe.Meal was great and our waitress (Meredith) couldn't have been more perfect.I'll be back for sure.”
“Possibly our favorite Sarasota restaurant. Excellent food, good service, and a wine list that is not only serviceable but significantly under-priced. We go to Antoine’s 3 times a year or so, and every time we say that we should go more often. First visit was in 2015 or so.”
“Can't say enough about the French onion soup and street corn melts in your mouth. The parmesan crusted filet was top notch and the ribeye was fine and I always appreciate when they will blacken it for me.”
“Ran into a friend of mime tim who was headjnv there for lunch so took my lunch breal amd caught up with him had was a gokd time with him there pizza with ricatta and cauliflower crust was so ”
“Wonderful food !Nice people. Bibimbap Awesomely authentic! #39.The Real deal.Very popular. Beef bulgogi wonderful. Saw a Korean girl eating it and knew I should try it.Pork and vegetable dumplings and dipping sauce very good.Lol, trendy Kojo tries to do this dish. Cannot compare. They shovel the hot rice right out of metal bowl asap into cold bowls. Ruining theCulinary dining experience. Flavors not bad. V Overpriced and precious at Kojo. Here you enjoy eating it , hot, in the metal bowl , real and down to earth at Shilla. The diverse flavors , beef bulgogi and crunchy rice crust are so delicious. Omg, Mom chef brings it out to you steaming.Warm, family restaurant. Han friendly and professional,Very popular Fridays and Saturdays. Call orders ahead for efficient dining or take home. Prices reasonable. Loyal following. I get it.Dietary restrictions: Black pepper, all chili peppers, all citrus and tomato.”
“My husband found this place for us while we were vacationing in Sarasota. The food was incredible. My in laws got the lasagne, my husband got the Ragu, and I got the risotto special that had prosciutto and burrata. This was easily the best meal we had while in Sarasota. The service was great, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were so full we couldn’t finish our meal, and we sadly did not have a microwave at our hotel! Thank you for a great experience and even better food!”
“Back in Siesta Key for a day trip to the beach and I knew I had to go back to SKOB after falling in love with oysters on my first trip to siesta over 15 years ago. The wait to be seated was quick (they said 45 min but we had a table in less than 20). The place is packed with tables that are quite small for a party of 4 but I get it…they are trying to serve as many people as possible. The oysters were great and we were pleasantly surprised with a happy hour price. My fiancé had the blackened grouper Reuben . It was delicious (I stole a few bites) and I highly recommend it! I had the Siesta Key Extravagana. The crab cakes and shrimp were very tasty but the Mahi was a little dry for my taste. My daughter had the kids Mac and cheese and she really enjoyed it and was definitely not Kraft! Hopefully I make there again in less than 10 years!”
“The food at Sardinia is exquisite. The atmosphere is elegant and the owner is very warm and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. One of the best in Sarasota! Will be returning there with friends and family many times.”

Andrea's
“As a person with celiac disease I was excited to read that Andrea's offered numerous gluten-free options for dinner. Our server was able to recite all GF entrees and starters from memory, as there is not a separate menu or GF designation listed. The buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes with pesto was amazing, as was the short rib entree. Our server brought our a regular bread basket for the other folks in our party, and surprised me with my own basket of GF olive bread. I was so excited to be able to enjoy bread safely, and it really is THE BEST gluten free bread (and meal) in town.”

“Amazing restaurant with excellent service and food! Service was great! Kyra, our waiter was the absolute best! Definitely recommend coming between 3-6 for half price apps and happy hour! Appetizers were amazing and very large portions for a great price!”
“Ate here while on Summer Vacation and I have to say, it's one of the best bbq places I've been to. The Mac N Cheese was definitely the best I've ever had! It highly recommended!”
“Had to charge our car at the EV station (so convenient to have so many stations at a mall!!). Great pizza. Fast service. Good craft beer. Lots to take home for leftovers.”

“Absolutely loved eating here! Best food we’ve had in Sarasota. Such a great atmosphere and the staff are great. Very understanding of food allergies. And did I mention the food is AMAZING! I would fly down to Sarasota just to eat here.”
“We had the most delicious meal at Kacey’s over Memorial weekend! I had crab cakes with two sides and they were so yummy. My husband had the coconut shrimp, and son got the grouper prepared in a maple glaze and he said it was DE-Lish. Two of us started with the Lobster bisque, a must if you go there. The other got the ahi tuna which was a great portion. Full bar and really good iced tea, too”
“I recommend this restaurant especially since I was just visiting Florida for a couple of days! The crab that I had tasted delicious as well as the corn they had seasoned as well. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone who is interested in a southern style seafood place!”
“Outstanding food and service! After living here full-time for nearly a year, we finally found a place with superb filet! While seafood is readily available, I have struggled to find a good steak or filet. We went here with friends, who all enjoyed their surf and turf, but the quality of the filet I had was good enough for me to write this review. A special thanks to Sean our server for making recommendations on both the food and the wine, outstanding! We will definitely be back!”
“I made reservations at the much further away Flavio’s on Siesta Key for a table of 11, such a silly mistake, I suggest you don’t do that-it’s stressful! Anyway, the staff at Flavios on Main quickly set us up and welcomed us. The service and food was impeccable! I was so impressed with how well they took care of us all. A huge thank you to the staff at Flavios on Main for the quick pivot. Menu was great, everyone was more than satisfied. They’re the best! ❤️”
“Stopped at Green Zebra for a smoothie while walking around shopping. They were great, cute little patio outside to people watch. I got the peanut butter madness smoothie & it was delicious!”
“We had Jacob as our waiter and it was hands down the best service I've ever had !!!! His recommendations were 10/10 the service was 10/10. The nachos were enough to feed a family of 4 @$13.50. I would 100 percent recommend coming here and 100 percent recommend Jacob as a waiter !!!!”
“All other sushi places we've been to in Sarasota have been okay at best, but we finally tried Sushi Bay and wish we had been coming here all along. Not only was our server Angga attentive, but he was very friendly and enthusiastic, something you don't often get in authentic sushi restaurants, or frankly most restaurants in Sarasota, in general. The sushi rolls were generously filled with flavorful fish, and beautifully garnished. Excellent product presentation! The atmosphere was clean, neat, and welcoming. Ambiance was classy, but comfortable. The owner even came by to greet us in a genuinely friendly demeanor, which is rare for any restaurant on a Sunday evening. Pricing was very fair, especially for currently being in an economic state of hyperinflation. Bottom line is we'll be back again soon, and regularly!”
“We play Monday night trivia and the large menu has something for every mood and palette. The food is good and the bar is well stocked. Wonderful waitresses and staff. Every week we compliment Geckos.”
“Great vegan pizza and regular cheese option for the kiddos! The cashew cheese was yummy! Also, don’t forget to try the fried artichoke app. And the espresso and tiramisu was excellent! We’ll be back for sure! Looking forward to trying it all!”
“Stopped in for some coffee. Upon entry the patio walkway was busy and the main door opens to a takeaway area that was slightly confusing as you are expected to order at the bar instead. Simons Coffee House is actually a small restaurant in a strip mall. The food looked good, but we took a cortado and vanilla ice latte to go. The bar staff were nice, the service was quick and the coffee was good. It looks like they sell coffee beans to go too.”
“Food was excellent and beautifully presented but service was definitely lacking. We arrived at 5:00 and the restaurant was empty. We started with the beef empanadas and they were excellent. Flaky and flavorful in a delicious sauce. Even though we were the only people in the dining room we had to keep looking for our waiter and ask the assistant to send him over. We chose the lamb rack and curry swordfish for our entrees. Again, the presentations were beautiful and food was very flavorful. The chive risotto was also very good and cooked perfectly. My wine glass was empty and I wasn’t asked if I wanted another until almost done with my entree. This should not happen when it’s slow. I will definitely return because of the food, but sincerely hope service improves.”

“VANESSA G. the G should stand for great! We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in! Got a table and did a great job keeping the positive energy and actively listened & responded being attentive and proactive. Whether that was questions about the menu, making sure if we needed refills, any extra sides, & checking in on us while still maintaining a pleasant atmosphere! She did a wonderful job of both work ethic and provided a great experience! The food was great! Great server & I’m sure that will only to continue to reflect great things for her & for the location! It’s the little things that make such a positive impact and create a better overall experience, it goes a long way. We appreciate it, thank you!”
“Had a late lunch here for the first time and it was an excellent choice! Staff was super nice. Good came quick and all of it was delicious. I had two tacos carnitas and mofongo and my date had the mole on top of chicken and rice and he loved it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“It's okay. Kinda like a step up from fast food. Nothing really noteworthy about the menu. One thing that was so weird....a robot brought our food to the table....yes, I said robot. The robot was rude....he said "take your food" (No please???) That means someone from the table has to stand up and serve all of the meals. It just keep getting closer and closer to fast food. You need a food runner.....seriously! #Weird”
“I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends. I ordered the wild caught salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Loved the atmosphere and our server Eni was attentive, polite and helpful. She knew the menu very well and answered all of our questions. Will be back again!”
“Delicious food and great service. I will be back! I ordered goat saag, and the meat was very tender.I ordered "medium" spice level, and it was a bit hot for me, so I suggest asking for "mild" if you are a wimp about spice. There are lots of options on the menu.Vegetarian options: Most dishes are offered either with meat or vegetarian.”
“This was the second time this week I had dinner at Heinrich's The new management, Josh and his wife are running the restaurant now and doing a great job responding to the customer concerns! Both meals this week were excellent and Josh did a great job make my meal as authentic as any I have had in Germany! I will return often! TomC”
“If you have a chance to stop by this place, DO IT!!! I drive by here every day and oh my goodness, it tastes as good as it smells!! Nothing like that smoked meat aroma. We got the pulled pork and Jamaican jerk chicken meals. There was so much food, 2 meals fed 4 people, and their house sauce was sooo delicious. I would go back just to get more of their sauce lol. Looking forward to going back and trying more menu items.”
“This place had the best ice cream I have had in a long time. It was a wait, but it was woth it they had a lot of ice cream options and toppings. I will definitely be returning. You all have gained a new customer.”
“I was visiting Sarasota and realized that it was Nowruz, the Persian new year. I looked for a Persian restaurant and the nearest one was in Tampa.Happily, I found an Uzbek restaurant close by. Knowing that Uzbeks celebrated the holiday just as much as Persians we decided to give it a try. We weren’t at all disappointed. We were just about the only ones in the restaurant because we got there quite early in the afternoon, but we were attentively served by a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress who helped us with become familiar with Uzbek and Russian food.Long story short: the appetizers (traditional Uzbek bread and a kind of flaky cheese dumpling) were delicious, as were the lamb entrées that we chose. Dessert was a very tasty Russian treat, Syrniki (farmers cheese-stuffed pancakes, topped with sour cream and cherry preserves) which was fabulous. We’ll definitely be back – I highly recommend this place.Parking: plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant, which is located in a strip mallKid-friendliness: No children there when we were there, but I’m sure it’s child friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Completely accessible”
“I go here for gas, burgers & the female scenery. This is the place to go for burgers & good looking woman. They’re always cleaning & it’s hot to watch.”

“Just had my first Italian Hero, well half of one anyhow….Deeee-licious!! So many perfectly blended flavors! So many other tempting choices on the menu and all super authentic. Piqued my interest w the rice balls (dipped in the house-made marinara) and wasn’t disappointed. Mouthwatering! Worth the stop a million times over!”
“Food is very tasty. I had the mac and cheese and the chicken and waffles with 2 different heat levels, and I really enjoyed it. The service was great! Definitely recommend this place!”

“I've been going to this restaurant for 30 years... at one point I was let down, but I gave it another try a few weeks ago.OMG! The Stuffed Piquillo Pepper appetizer is AMAZING! I used the bread and turned the appetizer into a sandwich. DO IT!Joe and Giuseppe at the bar were phenomenal beyond words. They took such good care of my husband and me...I can't wait to go again. Gracias Casa Columbia!!!”
“Looking for the ideal spot to kick back and relax? Look no further! Whether you prefer cozying up indoors, basking outdoors, or sipping a drink by the bar, this place has it all. We indulged in their delectable tuna tataki, Avocado egg rolls, and the unique rock shrimp & blue crab lollipops — the tuna tataki was a definite win for me. To heighten the experience, we sampled an array of martinis and cocktails. The grilled pineapple caipirinha stood out, and the Texas Paloma didn't lag far behind either. Don't miss their Happy Hour— they offer an all-day option on certain days, but it's exclusive to the bar area. Make sure to check their schedule for Happy Hour deals!”
“Excellent blood orange margarita to start. Started with Asparagus Fries and Fried Brussel Sprouts (both good but quite filling). Then Bungalow Salad and Macadamia Nut Crusted Fresh Fish mains. The fish was nice but again quite filling (simple fried or grilled fish would've been a lighter option, but I don't think that was on the menu). Attentive service. Great location (close to Lido Beach).”
“Sage is always an awesome experience. Chef Christopher Covelli continues to do an awesome job bringing his culinary inspirations to life. If you are looking for an exceptional night out, Sage is your place!”
“It was a good experience, however the oysters appetizer was pre-made and they couldn't accommodate our garlic allergy. For a restaurant that is supposed to be cooking from scratch, it was disappointing to have that happen. The waiter also did not provide the specials. We had to ask for them. However, both main courses we ordered were delicious and original.”
“Food came extremely fast & hot! Calamari was good but very small portion for $20. Our pasta dishes had alot of flavor. Waitress wasn't the greatest. She never refilled our drinks nor checked on us after we got our food. Overall, we will definitely return.”
“One of the best restaurants in Sarasota. We eat at many places but this one is truly at the top of our list. The food is excellent, the service is superb & the atmosphere is exceptional. We were there to celebrate my friend’s anniversary & the restaurant truly helped us make it a surprise. Edwardo was the most attentive server. He was excellent & we observed all servers doing such a great job.FOOD: Try the Brussels sprouts for appetizers. It fed 5-6 of us & had a great flavor. Dinner: I highly recommend the yellow fin tuna steak. Oh my gosh, the flavors that are married into this main course dish were delicious. They blended so well into the tuna steak (which was cooked perfectly & not overdone) melted in my mouth. Others at our table ordered the filet mignon which they said was excellent. My husband had the open-faced shrimp on pita bread which gave plenty of shrimp, perfectly cooked & the dressings were a delight. Even the coffee after dinner was great.SERVICE: These servers were so attentive, & as noted, Edwardo was excellent. He is bilingual, speaking Spanish & English. He anticipated all our needs, from drinks to food, to checking that we were happy with the way our food was right after it was served. He handled many tables without leaving us to ask for anything. How do they do all of that? A perfectly organized kitchen, chef, management & all that put this restaurant at the top.ATMOSPHERE: Seating includes inside & outside, both of which packed quickly but no one was left standing to wait. It is decorated perfectly, making great use of space, was clean as a whistle (even the bathrooms), & outside area.Overall, we love coming g here & will continue to do so. A great place to eat, shower your guests with the great flavors of Sarasota & terrific dining.Edwardo: Gracias!”
“Lovely dinner. Excellent food. Our waitress (Olivia?) was lovely and charming. Beautiful setting (an old house in a quiet residential neighbourhood). Probably our best meal out while on holiday in Florida.”
“Enjoyed the food. Aiden was superb. Jason's enthusiasm was awesome we will definitely return. Also Andrea was very friendly and professional. I live here and this is my favorite place”
“Ciao! This restaurant has a good service. The staff were polite and helpful. Food was nice but missed nonna's flavors. Serving size was not on par for price (as a tourist). Pizza was okay but i did not enjoy the thinner texture with a smaller amount of cheese. After having, other, italian restaurants from California to Sicily, i am picky! Tables are nice, but conversation at adjacent tables are bothersome.”
“Excellent food, nice ambience and great service! There were 4 of us and all of us really enjoyed our food. I had the short rib tacos and they weee fantastic!!! I will definitely be back, and very soon!”
“This place was absolutely amazing!!! All the way around!! Great food at reasonable prices, excellent service, and an ambiance that was warm and relaxing. A definite 10/10!!!!”

“It was very good! Had the mushroom barley soup and even a small was huge also the star of the meal was the hot pastrami on rye with pickles and potato salad and again the small was enough for two meals. A must try! Sol is back as good as ever.”
“Chicken tenders are delicious. The sauce options are plentiful like 17. I had a side salad. It's made with dark leafy greens. It was amazing! Food tasted very fresh.”
