“Our meal was sooo good! My husband and I rarely go out to eat anymore because it seems the quality of the food has gotten so bad in many places. We didn't want to cook and tried Nori - wow! I had the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The chicken was so tender, the dish so flavorful. My husband had Maki Rolls - they were large pieces, delicious. Neither of us could finish our meals. Our server was so pleasant, too. Great atmosphere ... this is going to be our new "go-to".“

“Tanks is always so good. Great local place. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. We usually get the Cali roll, dynamite roll, Godzilla roll, spicy tuna, salmon roll. Their hibachi meat is tender and not dry even when we ask for less sauce. Service is always courteous, chill and on it!“
“Made our first visit last night and will definitely be back. A great addition to the WGV dining scene which has been so lacking in the area. Immediately after being seated we were given miso soup, before our drink order was taken - how nice. We had the Avocado salad, 4 sushi rolls, beer and wine. The sushi was so fresh and the presentation was WOW! I won't say more, stop in especially at night and see. With the check came deep fried Oreos, never had that anywhere before. The service was very attentive. Stop in for a meal soon.“
“Order take out Saturday, all three entrees were cooked to perfection. The hibachi scallops and hibachi chicken were juicy and tender. The chicken udon was fantastic!! The dining area looks clean and comfortable. Strongly recommend checking this place out!!“
“Great restaurant. The majority of the workers in there are Thai, so I feel comfortable that the food will be somewhat authentic. Great dishes, and I am glad to try their pad thai that tasted better than any other places I had before.Great service as well. The orders might take a while to come out or might be forgotten, because it is really busy in there.“
“On my trip to St Augustine I had a craving for ramen and ended up at Ginger Bistro, and wow! The ramen was so delicious, and the service was great! The server was super nice and fun! “Absolutely delicious. We went here during night of the lights for dinner and it was completely empty not a single customer. I was definitely unsure but so glad we did eat here. The food was so good and it was a very clean atmosphere. The service was great. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit!!!“
“My family and I ate here on vacation. The portions are out of control. We are from South Florida and are use to going to Benihana so that has been our standard. It wasn’t as much of “a show” but was a lot of fun for the kids. It was not as fancy as Benihana but that was nice because we were on vacation mode. All in all we had a great time!“
“The sushi is always good here. I think it’s better than a lot of the sushi I’ve tried here in St. Augustine. I’ve been to quite a few. We had the Green River Roll with seaweed wrap instead of the soy wrap, Red Corner Roll, Fire Belle Roll and the Dragon Roll. The Green River was my favorite and very delicious. My kids got avocado and eel rolls and they loved them. They also have the Japanese strawberry soda drinks with the balls you push down, and the kids loved those as well. The server was a gentleman and he was very attentive and nice. The overall atmosphere was nice, but a little loud because a big party was having a birthday. It was a Saturday night, so I recommend going on a weekday or for lunch if you want a quieter experience. I will definitely come back because their food is very fresh and very tasty. It was on the expensive side though. I remember when sushi rolls were in the $10-12 range, now it’s $15 at least a roll. We spent on food and drinks $150 including tip for a family of four.“
“The food is always on point, and they have plenty to please everyone. My daughter does pizza, French fries, and chicken. The wife enjoys sushi and hibachi, and I generally go with a smorgasbord of honey chicken, to die for, green beans and seafood options. This is my favorite buffet by far. They also offer affordable rates for take out orders...“
“This is our third time having take out from Umai and the food has been consistently great. Service was nice and pleasant when we ordered and picked up. We are looking forward to having a date Umai because of the food and the clean and beautiful ambiance of the restaurant. Umai has become our new go to sushi restaurant!“

“This place could be a good restaurant. However the staff lacked any kind of personalities. Food was good. Probably won’t go back as we didn’t really feel welcomed. Side note - went on a Friday night at 8:00 and not another soul in the restaurant. Not sure what that says ?♂️“
“Came here with my sister on a Saturday at 2pm! Food was delicious, service was almost immediate, price was completely affordable— we each got soup, dumplings, sushi, and hibachi, all for 35 bucks. Our servers were kind and quick!! DEFINITELY worth coming here. A perfect little hole in the wall.“
