“The food was excellent but the service was poor. Our server, Abbie, was slow and lacked attention to our table. We let her know we had theatre tickets and arrived in plenty of time to have an enjoyable dinner. Because the service was so slow, we could not have desert. We had to ask for drink refills and she never inquired about our meals. The table next to us experienced the same level of service from this server.“
“Thompson who works the beach and keeps the place clean and the people happy was a great guy. He would not take a tip. Chairs were fully rented but when a few opened he came and found me and helped us get a few then moved them and cleaned them for us. Super nice guy. Made the trip down the strip well worth it.“
“This is a gem located off the beaten path. Very authentic selections. The pizza was one of the best we've ever had. We enjoyed the Chicken Piccata and the Bruschetta was awesome too. My wife enjoyed sitting in the sun on their little patio, too. Don't miss this place!“
“Had dinner at Black Marlin Friday Jan. 5/24, made 7 PM res couple of days before, found it by walking by. We arrived a little early they took us in no problem. We had Black Marlin salad, great lite dressing, all salad produce fresh and good “crunch”, for mains we had chicken & artichoke w/ scallions, Caribbean jerk swordfish, with mango salsa all excellent, both chicken and fish we’re perfectly prepared hot and juicy. Service from Ellen was great she was attentive but did not rush the dinner. We will return, nice job to all at The Black Marlin Restaurant, Stuart.“
“We live about 20 minutes from King Neptune, but we keep going back because the food and service is SOOOOOO good! The Seafood Bisque is outstanding, the cracked conch is perfect and the service is always quick and friendly. Shannon and Kiley deserve a big raise, promotion, 3 weeks paid vacation, fully funded pension account, company car, uniform and expense allowance and a percentage ownership in the business. We need King Neptune in Tequesta and Brevard, NC....please!“
“Excellent fresh seafood restaurant. Very casual with a nice beer and wine selection. The seafood is fantastic, started with the Royal Red shrimp, which were off the chart. Tgey tasted more like crab and lobster. The conch chowder was delicious, but it needed more conch. The fish entrees were hot, fresh, and delicious. Will definitely return.“

“It was a beautiful afternoon so we chose to eat outside for our first time here. We had both the Fried Shrimp plate and Blackened Shrimp Basin Island Bowl...both were very good and plenty to eat! The hush puppies were delicious...especially with the sauce served with them. And live entertainment on a Saturday afternoon was a nice added touch too. Our server, Flo, made sure that we were enjoying our meals and we assured her that we would be back.“
“I have been here so many times and it's not real bad. Not my favorite, the food is mediocre, I think too many things on the menu. This particular experience was the worst one yet. I got the salad salad with grilled chicken. They couldn't toss the chicken in hot sauce like they can the fried ones. ?♀️ When the salad came, the chicken was sooooo dry. Smh. My co-worker order the grilled Mahi sandwich, and said that was VERY dry as well. It's a real shame since it was my co-workers first time there; not sure she will go back.“

“I absolutely love this restaurant, but I had the worst service from a waitress named Elizabeth on Friday 3/8/24. We had a large party of 22 people, but she treated us like we were bothering her. She would get aggravated when we would order more drinks. I tried to order dessert, and she proceeded to tell me that there was a birthday cake for the table. I responded, "I'm aware, but I would still like to order dessert" she rolled her eyes. After 30 minutes, I asked where my dessert was, and she stated she didn't put it in. She received an extremely large tip, and she did not deserve it for the attitude, extreme rudeness, and poor customer service that she provided. I will say that all of the other people that helped her with our table gave exceptional service and were very attentive to our needs.“

I absolutely loved the rich taste the lobster rolls had, many places could never, simply delicious and I would highly recommend. I also got the Firecracker shrimp and it was good stuff.“

“I ordered a shrimp pasta dinner. It did not indicate how spicy it was. The shrimp were overcooked but that was fine. It was WAY too spicy. Our waitress spoke to the chef and they brought me a delicious lemon butter sauce to neutralize the spices. It was much better for me after that. I will just have to remember to inquire about the spice level next time I go ? BTW .... It was my birthday so when they brought out the chocolate lava cake, they added whipped cream and a candle. It was SO good ..... I ordered one to go! ?“
“Mangia was so Amazing in helping us support an Easter Fundraiser for Families and Children. Benefiting Safe Space Marys House and House of Hope. Enjoyed Music Bingo all the customers participated in our raffle and 50/50 games. Everyone at their tables was so pleasant. The staff and management were so helpful and happy and all around provided an excellent environment with Great Vibes and Energy! Can't wait to go back and visit again. “I had my husbands 50th bday here. The food, the service, atmosphere and the manager was first class service! Most reasonably priced in the area to host a party. We had 50 people in there smaller room and it was roomy and perfect. Love the new paint job in and out of the building btw.Johnathan and Matt worked our party. Both of them were professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.Maria the manager is tops! Very professional and makes you at home at the same time. Flexible and understanding, couldn’t have asked for more.We ordered conk fritters, moz, tomato, basil skewers, Bacon wrapped shrimp and Pizza pinwheels. Perfect apps.For dinner we chose, mahi-mahi, chicken piccata, and beef tenderloin. “This restaurant has a lot of promise but as is, we were less than enthused. Only the downstairs, outdoor patio/lounge is open at this point. Seating isn't great. Food is good but not great. Service is what you'd expect from a new place. The biggest surprise was how expensive the drinks were. Very expensive! Overall, we'll wait until the main restaurant opens before we go back.UPDATE: It's been several months and we went back to check the place out.Unfortunately, the service is just as bad as it was last time and the food is worse! We had the lobster bisque. It was literally tomato soup with one large piece of lobster meat. The whole, rubbery claw meat. What exactly was I supposed to do with that, with only a spoon? Ridiculous.We won't be back.“
