My husband is Bahamian so I was looking for a place to take him as a surprise. Well the surprise ended up being on me...this resturant is NOT Bahamian. Walked in and the restuarant is boasting Bahamian Flags & Bahamian Coat of a Arms. There were no customers and we had to call out to get someone's attention from the kitchen area. Changing the name does NOT change the food. This is NOT Real Bahamian food. Disgusting. My husband and Mother in law (Bahamians)and I , was so disappointed. We took our ladies here for a Mother's day dinner from Church and we were so embarrassed.... Also Management was rude.I heard about the disappointment from everyone for weeks.
The waitress was very slow!!! We had to repeat our order several times. She never brought us utensils and we didn’t get drinks until 30 minutes later after we had to ask. The potato salad was terrible and the couch fritters wasn’t that good. However, the cracked conch was good & tinder. It took them almost an hour to bring the food so you can order and go shopping.
