Lighthouse's gig is to emulate a New England chowder house. It does a great job of it. Overlooking Lake Sumter, this restaurant specializes in seafood; scallops, shrimp, mollusks, crab, lobster, and fish. This was my second visit, and I had the Fish & Chips lunch special for $6.99. The service was good and the food was delicious. The indoor dining was quite loud due to a large group at the bar. We opted to sit indoors due to the 25 minute wait for outdoor seating. The views are nice overlooking a lake. The parking lot was full but there are additional parking lots nearby. I would recommend this restaurant.

If you’re looking for great seafood and the best water front view in The Villages this is the spot to go. We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and it was busy to say the least. The manager Crystal went above and beyond to accommodate everyone. Highly recommend eating here and thank you Crystal for the amazing service!
