“I've always had good food here. Sometime with music it is too loud...amplifiers should be turned down. I have actually left before due to the loudness of the music.”
“Food & drinks were outstanding, but the service was top notch. Laura was positive, efficient, and made her job look easy. She was the only person handling all the tables at sunset so it was very busy, but she did it with grace. I commend her for her work ethic.”
“The Campground, here at Fort DeSoto has to be one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Lush palm trees abound, giving the ample RV sites, really cool privacy. We have good water pressure and 50Amp electric. It's a sandy spot, and backing in around the trees, requires a little skill, but very worth while.”
“Our visit and experience was exceptional. The food is authentic Italian cuisine that is both hot and delicious. Our servers were on top of it with food delivery and refills. Got to give kudos to the chef(s) as our meals were well seasoned, tasty, and hot. These are the small family owned businesses that deserve our patronage. Enjoy!”
“Just had the steak and egg sandwich for breakfast. It was more than I could even get close to finishing. was walking out the door and saw the bakery and had to get an apple turnover also. Parker is an amazing waiter and I’ve got to tell you the other two staff guys are killing it. Also there is a great place.”
“So.... we LOVE this place BUT the last few weeks every time we have been here they've been out of my husbands favorite - the lasagna. He RAVES about this place to all the locals, any family members in town, we have lots of out of town business meetings here locally so we regularly will bring about 12 people in. The last time we brought 8 - 4 we're going to order the lasagna after my husbands raving review and they were out ? we have been a little disappointed as we have never had this problem and in the last 2 weeks it's happened twice.Other than that this place is AMAZING, service AMAZING! Would recommend the ravioli in homemade vodka sauce. Portions are HUGE. Kids spaghetti & meatballs lasts my 7 year old 2 meals. I will never NOT rave about this place as the BEST Italian we have EVER had and we travel constantly.”
“Char grilled oysters were delicious and highly recommended! If I was to criticize, it would be the bacon wrapped scallops. It wasn't bad but the sweetness of the BBQ glaze was overwhelming.”
“The menu recommendations Billy provided were great, along with his attentive, friendly service. The coconut shrimp was also great! The Grouper nuggets and entree was fresh and delicious. The Hostess was so very kind and thoughtful anticipating our accessibility needs. Will definitely visit again.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice long ramp to entrance. ADA restroom. Very thoughtful Hostess held open doors.”
“Dana is wonderful! Very pleasant and happy to help you! Food was very good, the croissants melt in your mouth! Ate the food forgot to take pics it was that good!”
“Absolutely amazing bowl! Abby did a great job preparing my bowl, it was delicious and highly recommend if you want something cool and refreshing to eat on a hot day.”
“Food was very good here! My bf and I loved it! The restaurant itself doesn’t have a cute aesthetic but if you’re craving good Italian in st pete this is the place to go! :) I had a spaghetti dish with meatballs my boyfriend had lobster ravioli both delicious.”
“My boyfriend and I went to Mio's during first friday and it was amazing! I can't recomend enough the spinach and feta borek! It was delicious! The waiters were also so kinda, friendly, and helpful! Such a nice atomosphere! We will be going back soon!”
“Came here for a quick ice cream fix before heading back home. So many unique and wonderful flavors as well as the tried and true ones (ores, cookie dough). The wall of retro candy had us all pointing out which ones we remembered having as kids. Plenty of ones like Big League chewing gum and Astropops as well as true oldies like Neco wafers and Sugar Daddy. Service from the young man behind the counter was top notch and he probably made the best banana splits we’ve ever had!Parking: We parked right infront of the shop and it was easy to get into and out of.Kid-friendliness: Bright and cheerful atmosphere for kids and adults alike. Lots of ice cream cases to tantalize everyone. A good place to bring the kids.”
“We came for Sunday brunch and were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the exceptional service. We started with a virgin Bloody Mary and espresso martini; Bloody Mary is on the spicy side, but good. The martini was one of the better ones - not too bitter, and mixed nicely.Ordered the chicken & waffles as well as biscuit and gravy. Biscuit and gravy are not on the menu, but we ordered a la carte and put them together. Gravy is not the traditional southern style, but still flavorful. The chicken and waffles are massive- served with two huge perfectly fried breasts, bacon butter and a waffle. Highly recommend this dish. The prices are on the higher side, but the food is curated as are the drinks, so we would definitely go back.”
“HANDS DOWN BEST BREAKFAST ON THE BEACH. If you go you have to sit outside because it is just the cutest atmosphere. Food is out of the world. Service always rocks. I come here every time I stay at the beach. If you like eggs Benedict they have a wide variety of options. Also, best pina colada I’ve ever had and boy have I consumed a lot of them throughout the years.”
“The atmosphere was amazing! There’s a beautifully decorated nook in the back corner of the shop that offers intimacy- while also being large enough to fit 6. We really enjoyed our night out.”
“Always busy - for a reason: the food is amazing, the coffee is divine, and service is efficient.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free. EVERYTHING. Heaven for those of us who have to scour other menus for the one or two items we can eat.”
“Our first time to dine at Sea Grapes and as we walked in we were greeted immediately by the smiling Nina our server and knowledgeable sommelier. Nina was great and she made us feel comfortable and welcome right away. The restaurants atmosphere was upscale casual. Our appetizers and meals were delicious and presentations beautiful. The chef even visited our table. We will definitely return in the near future. Thanks Nina for a great first experience at the Sea Grapes Eatery”
“Great little French restaurant that's cozy, warm and had delicious food. Great champagne and I can't wait to go back to try more menu items. I'm definitely looking forward to the lavender creme brulee!”
“I can't rave enough about Chris and the dining experience at this restaurant. Chris's attention to detail and exceptional service truly made our evening memorable. As for the food, it was disturbingly good - each dish surpassed our expectations, leaving us craving more. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary journey.”
“Had some "snow" (also known as bingsoo) after a show at Tropicana field. They had some great, creative flavors. Since it's handmade, you can expect to wait a little, especially if it's busy, but our stuff came out quickly and was delicious.”
“Absolutely loved this coffee shop. We came here everyday while on vacation. The workers are so so so friendly and the drinks (especially matcha) is amazing! 10/10 from me!”
“This was my first visit to Coco Wood Grill. I made a reservation and we were seated immediately. Our water glasses were filled right away and our server, Benjamin, was promptly at the table to take drink orders and answer any questions. He explained the specials and we ordered drinks and appetizers. The appetizers were at our table within 10 minutes. We had the soup of the day, Lobster Bisque, Tuna Stack, and Tuna Poke Nachos. The bisque was creamy and loaded with flavor, delicious. The tuna appetizers had very generous portions of marinated raw ahi tuna and were delectable. For entrees, we had the Asian Salmon, Seabass a la Champagne, and the Fish and Chips Special. Just as we were deciding to hold off on finishing all of our appetizers, to leave room for our entrees, our very attentive server Benjamin showed up and asked if we were ready for our entrees. That is something I don't often see; a server so attentive to timing. It was extra, and very appreciated. Within a couple of minutes, he brought all of our entrees at the same time, piping hot, and looking fantastic. The Asian Salmon was very well-balanced with its brown sugar and honey drizzle. I usually avoid ordering this dish because it comes out too sweet but Coco Wood's chef balanced this sauce perfectly with the other spices and it just gave a hint of sweet, very appetizing. The Fish and Chips were delightful. The fish had a very enticing thin, crispy coating of breading and the haddock inside was juicy and flavorful, very enjoyable. Lastly, the Seabass a la Champagne, which our server Benjamin indicated is a specialty dish of theirs, was the show-stopper of the evening. It was a very generous portion of delectably flaky, perfectly seasoned, and expertly cooked seabass on top of a mouth-watering champagne risotto that was cooked to perfection, all topped with an impeccably balanced sherry sauce and lobster claw meat. The dish was luscious. I couldn't wait to take another bite! Throughout our time there, our server Benjamin was highly attentive. We never had to wait for drink refills, he checked on us regularly and was an absolute gem of a server. Overall, I highly recommend Coco Wood Grill. The food, service, and ambience, were superb!Parking: There are two lots for parking. The first is at the corner of Coral Ave and Gulf Blvd. This is their private parking lot, customers only. The other lot is just south of the restaurant at the corner of 178th Ave and Gulf Blvd. This is a public lot. There is also parking along the street on both sides. There is a drop-off area right in front of the restaurant.”
“Amazing place for a quick bite to eat and a nice cold drink along with it! Service was amazing along with the server recommending a great new beer that I've never tried. Highly recommend!”
“Victor and the rest of the staff serve actual authentic tacos which is a breath of fresh air from the rest. Get the birrias and lengua and you won't be disappointed!”
“Decided to pop in when I saw sandwichea and a good rating. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They were super excited we were first timers. The sandwiches had a lot of meat and were delicious. The staff offered suggestions and customizations. Steady flow of people coming in and out. Meats were sliced as they went on the sandwiches. Super fresh ingredients. Kombucha on tap was really good. Lots of options for drinks and food. Would 1000% come back here.”
“Traveling for work and was recommended this place. Hazel our waitress was excellent. Gave recs on food, asked if we had allergies & did not disappoint. Very friendly & food came out fast! The crispy tofu and the spring rolls were my favorite!Best thing: all the tables have purse hooks. Such a nice and needed touch when you are at a bar height table or not in a booth.”
“Definitely a must go to place for dinner if you are in the area. Excellent food, great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. But you will need to make reservations. We have found our go to place literally within walking distance of our home.”
“Me and my friend love Rays Vegan Soul! She is a hardcore vegan but I consider myself a baby vegan. This was our second time here and we were not disappointed! I recommend coming earlier in the day so you get first dibs on the food. Last time we came, it was closer to closing and he was out of alot of items. This time we got there about an hour after he opened and he had everything! We will be back fa sho!”
“We just love Sea Worthy!! The vibe is great. Fantastic food - mussels, tostadas, fish of the day, clams over homemade pasta!! Every bite is excellent!! And those amazing cocktails? Juan is the master!! Our favorite restaurant in the area.”
