Citron Bistro is my go to for lunch with a friend. We always have impeccable service, the selection and specials are varied and interesting, and our food was excellent as always. Our server was attentive but not overwhelming. She could see we wanted to chat with each other and checked in periodically but didn't rush us.
We had a very good meal a few weeks ago but this time it was disappointing. The mussels bathed in a very uninteresting sauce (compared to the last time) and my wifes shrimps, supposedly 'blackened' were comparatively tasteless.......The desert also was disappointing. What happened?

We had an early reservation and were greeted and drinks came promptly. Food was really good but took a long time to order. Once we made up our minds it had suddenly become very busy.
