My experience at this steak 'n shake is the same as almost any other steak 'n shake, which is to say that overall it's not as good as it used to be since they switched to ordering on a touch screen and removing staff. I'm assuming that was done to save money, but two meals with milkshakes was still 26 bucks. The food was fine but the place was empty and depressing. Since there's no more wait staff, there's really no reason to come into the restaurant. You may as well just get drive-thru and skip going inside.

Food was good as usual. No service, order at a kiosk. Get your own food when your name is called. Then take garbage to can. First time I have been since they went without servers. And I won't go back. Not the same, and I don't have to participate.

Why do they ask for a tip when the customer orders on a kiosk, has to get the food when it's ready, and they have to put everything in trash and stack baskets etc? Just wondering...

Food all came out wrong. Burgers ordered no onion had onion. No mayo had mayo. No cheese sauce for fries when ordered. It was all on the receipt.When I made my second trip up for something they forgot the employee's excuse was, "Sorry. I was back here alone during the rush."There were 3 people in the building. I saw them all. Rush? We were one of 7 total people in the building. 2 tables already had their food.The guy cooking wasn't stressed. Our 3 burgers were the only three on the grill.Food service isn't for everyone, I guess.

Waited a half hour in the drive thru and they weren’t even busy. This S&S has severely gone down hill in the past few months. Too many better options in the area to ever go back.

Since before Christmas it's over a 15 minute wait for food. Now for the past week it's 15-20 minutes to wait till someone can take my order through the drive thru. Then a 15 minute wait for food. If you don't have the staff close, simple as that don't make your staff stress or deal with angry customers due to management or owner incompetents.

Slow to no service at drive through. Then only one meal in the bag when we ordered and paid for two. I have always liked Steak & Shake at other locations. This was my third try. Isn't getting any better. I won't try again.
