While we were waiting to get my car fixed my boyfriend and I stumbled upon this wonderful place! Mayas is a perfect blend of Mediterranean and diner staples! The food is fresh. The owner Solomon greeted us and explained a lot of the ways he makes sure his food is fresh and made from scratch. The potatoes and onions are AMAZING!! Our server was John. He was very attentive. My girlfriend \\u0026 I were in the area getting her car repaired. We were hungry \\u0026 decided to give Maya's Eatery a chance. Turns out it's the same owner of Nana's Diner. He bought the restaurant several years back, then recently renamed it after his daughter. I ordered the Mediterranean pita, which had fresh ingredients \\u0026 pita made in house. Boxing Day brunch at Maya’s same owner, excellent service with an upgraded menu. There are traditional American breakfast and an update with new Mediterranean choices. I had the shakshukah with house made pita and it was DELICIOUS!!! It a must have on the menu!! If you haven’t been to Maya’s it’s a must try in the neighborhood.
