“My wife and I winter in Lake Wales and met at Big Tom's today for lunch with friends from Ohio. This was our first visit. The food was quite delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very good. It was well worth the trip! We plan to dine here again.“
“I sent back the orange juice because it was too bitter, and they replaced it with a coffee. The waitress was genuinely accommodating. Service was fast, and the food was delicious. Tables and the bathroom were clean. A lot of businesses should strive to be like them.Parking: Parking on both sides of Main St, in the restaurant parking lot, and at 7-ELEVEN, there are parking spots for customers of the diner. Popular restaurant, so parking is usually full, so practice patience, it's worth it.Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages just being kids, none seemed to mind.“
“We waited 20 minutes for a table and as always the prices are great. But this time the food was subpar. My son got the Blue cheese burger and said it was really dry. I ordered a cod dinner and asked that they pack the side salad in a to go container because I wouldn't be able to eat it then. I also had them grill the fish because I am a nable to eat fried food.Server brought me this huge side salad in a bowl and set it in front of me. Then ran away! We sat there for an additional 25 minutes before our food arrived watching people come in after us get waited on and served. Then finally out meals came out. My fish was deep fried! I just looked at it and looked at my son. We were already late for an appointment so I didn't say a thing. I think this is our last time!!“
“This was my second visit here, and I have to say how much I truly enjoyed it both times! The service was great, the food was great, and it's a very clean facility. When you first walk in, there's a decent sized waiting area (though I've never waited more than a minute or two to be seated) with padded benches. My favorite part about the entrance though is the "Take-a-Book" for children. My son LOVES to pick out a book to bring to the table with us, and it keeps him occupied if we wait to be seated.I got the breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, AND hazelnut crepes. My son got the children's breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a birthday cake pancake. I'm always weary about ordering scrambled eggs when I'm out because they're usually dry and hard, but these were perfect! The prices are very reasonable, and I was actually surprised that the iced coffee I ordered was only $3.99 because it was actually a decent sized glass and it had whipped cream and chocolate syrup on it. I didn't take a photo of that, because I couldn't help myself from immediately diving in to it!They also give each table a plate of biscuits with what I believe is their house made butter. I've had their blueberry, strawberry, and apple butters, and they are all amazing! They also give each guest a snicker doodle before they leave. If you're reading this, and you're not on your way to The Pantry right now, get in your car and go now! You will not be disappointed!Parking: To get to The Pantry's parking lot, you have to go into the Walmart parking lot first. It's the small plaza in the front, in between Mid Florida and the gas station.Kid-friendliness: There's a kids menu with different breakfast and lunch/dinner options!“
“Found this place on yelp. We're new to the area and looking for good place to eat. Dundee diner was great. We had breakfast, I love biscuits and gravy and am pretty picky. This place definitely met my standards. We will be back again for sure.“
“I love this diner. I’ve been here on various occasions and the service is always great. I ordered myself a country fried steak meal and it was delicious. I did not have to wait to be seated (I arrived around 10:30am). I got a table outside to enjoy the weather. They were starting to get busy so I got there at a good time. The servers took my drink order and respectfully gave me time to decide what I wanted to eat. Once I ordered my meal and received it, they periodically came over to my table to make sure I didn’t need anything else. Over all between the food, the service, and the atmosphere I rate this diner a 10 out 10.“
“I stopped in for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak, eggs, home fries and grits. The chicken fried steak was smothered in sausage gravy and it was great. I had a full bowl of grits and they were perfect. The food was great and plenty of it. No small portions here. I loved the man-sized coffee cup. When I took a sip of my coffee I actually felt like I was holding something and I didn't need to keep asking for a refill! I recommend this place for breakfast.“
“I came here to have dinner 02/22 and this was the best experience. A nice quiet place to eat a meal from countless night of having to live in Orlando. Mary D. And another server were so down to earth. These ladies need a raise with the way the make people feel at home. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience ladies ❤️?“
“We had a really nice experience with Tammy as our server on Easter. She was very accommodating and always there to fill up our coffee and making sure we had what we needed for our Easter dinner! We will be going back on a regular basis due to our positive experience with Tammy!“
