After I moved to Orlando from New Orleans---where food is almost a religion—I seriously considered the logistics of going back every month or two for an Acme Oyster House fried oyster run. We love this restaurant! The food is always fresh and staff friendly! We’ve had the seafood platter, shrimp, cod and salmon and everything is always cooked perfectly and the broccoli slaw and onion rings are delicious! We only wish it was closer to Deland!Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options available!

The broiled haddock with Ritz cracker topping is my favorite! My husband loves the lobster pie (but you have to let them know a day or two prior if you want that). All of the fish is fresh, and the service is good.Avoid going too late on Sunday because they tend to be running out of stuff by then.
