Food was not near worth the price they were charging, the place was a ghost town on Friday night, outdated decor, zero vibe. Many more alternative restaurants in Winter Park on Park Ave....this one will not get any more of our business. I guess it would have been better to sit outside and people watch...but too cold for the kids. Disappointment in all areas.

First time at this establishment. My family ordered a cheese burger $23 for my 11 yr old. Cesar salad $ 21for my 17tr old . My wife and I ordered the rib eye over cooked $77 - had to remake three times, ordered some shareable cream lobster corn, plus crab cake $21 cold. Paid $157, manager only took off the corn and crab, after an hour 1/2 with very little food, still charged us for most of our entree. Horrible experience!!!Don't waste your time!!!!

Steak was overpriced, wine tasted stale, and service was not good. Don’t bother paying extra for truffle butter for your steak, as it is not truffle butter whatsoever. When we mentioned something we were given butter that was provided with our bread that was absolutely not truffle AT ALL. Would much rather have spent my money elsewhere on park Ave

I love Park Ave and I always saw this spot and thought I needed to check it out. I often hear people raving of plenty of places on Park Ave but not much about this restaurant. We decided to finally go for our Valentine’s Day.The food was very good. Somehow not the best and no where near the worst. We started with theBurrata-Heirloom tomatoes, creamy burrata cheese, red wine vinegar reduction. This was ok, nothing overly special about it. The tomatoes and cheese were fresh and the bread was warm and crispy.I also got the Bovine Onion Soup-Gruyere melt, crisp bread. The soup was a little salty for my taste but of course I still ate the cheese. The crisp bread potion was a little over “crisped” making it difficult to eat.For my main I had a Classic Filet Mignon with a side of truffle butter and hollandaise sauce. It was a very good steak, really cannot say much else about it. It was cooked perfectly to my medium rare request, and wasn’t overly charred. I didn’t love the hollandaise sauce but the truffle butter was great. We shared the sides of truffle fries and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts-shallots, neuskes bacon, white wine vinegar, maple glazeThe fries were of course great. We did not care for the Brussels sprouts at all… the flavor was great but I personally prefer a more crispy Brussels sprout and they do them a bit more soft. It’s just a texture preference I think. Our service was wonderful. Very attentive, she answered all our questions, and even took our photo for us after our meal. After noticing we didn’t eat many of the Brussels sprouts she had them removed from our bill, we appreciated that very much. The atmosphere in this place is super cool! Very unassuming from the outside. It looks so small when you first walk into the bar/lounge type area… but as you walk back and round the corner it opens into this large, all brick, dark, masculine type dining room. You would never know that it was tucked back in there when looking through the windows passing by. They also have a very unique semi private dining area off to the side with super these cool almost torch like lights and arched windows. You kinda have to see it to understand it.Overall I don’t know if I would rush back. Nothing about it stood out to me besides the atmosphere. For a steak house type restaurant I tend to enjoy the ones that have a little extra something unique within the meal and I didn’t find that here. I would however sit at the bar for some appetizers and drinks and enjoy the overall ambiance the restaurant offers.

Was expecting more for the price. Steaks were good, but not great. The mushroom side dish was made with good quality ingredients, but a little bit plain. The overall experience was good, but I believe the value was not there for the prices they charge.

wow! wow! Blue Bovin! U have outdone yourself, what a beautiful restaurant. We arrived with a warm welcome, the decor is very cozy and laidback vibes. Our Server Peter, was prompt and professional.Thank u Peter for ur great service! We started with sushi, then steak, it was delicious, cooked to perfection, it was tender, and juicy and really fresh! Best steak we ever had, absolutely delicious to die for! We can’t wait to go back!

I visited Bovine with a group of seven. All seven were unanimous that the service was poor, our steaks were poorly cooked, and the price was too high. Some more specific comments: 1) On a Saturday night, the place was mostly empty. 2). Our drinks arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered them. Our waiter didn't seem to have any sense of urgency about this or anything else. We later had to ask him to bring a wine list. 3). One of our group ordered a pork chop. The waiter recommended getting it butterflied because it was "more likely to be cooked correctly that way". 4). Between the five of us who ordered steaks, our requests ranged from rare to medium well. They were all over-cooked. The rare steak was sent back and what came back was hardly cooked and cold in the center. It was sent back again and came back still cold in the center. Their kitchen needs to invest in a meat thermometer. 5). The steaks cost $49 and up. I'm glad to pay that amount for great service and great steaks, but not for anything less. I've been to Bovine a few times in the past. We had a similarly bad experience one of those times and I chalked it up to them having had a bad night. We all agreed we will never return again.

I visited this restaurant with my husband to celebrate Valentine’s Day and our 3rd anniversary. It was over priced for food that we could have cooked at home, but the steak was the most delicious thing there. The sides were all very underwhelming. We ordered Valentine’s Day specials and appetizers:Burrata 6/10small heirloom cherry tomatoes with two sweet glazes and a serving of burrata cheese. It could’ve used some salt and fresh cracked pepper to balance the sweetness.Crispy duck salad 3/10Small pieces of crispy duck with a vinaigrette, bean sprouts, cucumber, and fresh greens. The bean sprouts made it taste like dish water and the vinaigrette was overpowering for the lack of duck on the dish. The small shreds of duck were crispy and flavorful.Airline chicken 7/10Could’ve used salt, but over all a very unique dish. Enjoyed the flavor of the pepper and corn combo.Valentines filet mignon 8/10Steak was cooked perfectlyPotatoes were bland and disappointingAsparagus were phenomenalWe also ordered a side of Mac and cheese, which tasted disgusting and the crunchy bits on top were equally gross. The quality of food has no correlation to the wonderful service we received from the wait staff. I personally think that the beef is worth the money. Over all I’d give this restaurant a 6.7 out of ten.

Should be 0. Out of basics including draft beer and bread. Heard others saying this is normal for them to be oht of everything. Why even be open? What a joke and waste.

The service could've been more polished cellular to follow up. I was served the wrong side dish, but the steak was very tasty as was the wedge salad. When I did get the proper side dish, which was the mac & cheese, I tried, disappointed by the taste of it had none, especially because it advertised truffle, and I did not taste any truffle

I stopped into BoVine for dinner and drinks by myself; sat at the bar. The restaurant opens at 4, and they have a happy hour from 4-6. I arrived at 4:15. Upon arrival, I walked past a host who did not acknowledge me at all. I sat at the bar- alone. A few minutes later, a couple sat a few seats down from me. No bartender. 5ish minutes go by and both the couple and I are antsy for a cocktail. I got up and asked the host if there was someone tending to the bar. He said, "yeah, he's at the other restaurant getting stuff, he'll probably be back soon". Ummm, ok. We all waited for an additional 10 minutes. At that point, the gentleman from the couple approached the host and inquired AGAIN about the bartender. I arrived at 4:15, and a bartender didn't show up until 4:45. I almost left. Aaron, the bartender, when he finally showed up, was amazing. I ordered my drink and it was perfectly strong. I also ordered 2 menu items that had bacon panko on them (I don't eat bacon) and when they kitchen said they weren't able to accommodate my request for removal of the pork, Aaron ran to a nearby sister restaurant to get panko with no bacon . Small gestures like that are what can make a bad experience better. I am appreciative and will definitely return to see him!

Nothing special for that price. For the same money I would much rather Del Friscos, hillstone or Eddie Vs. I would expect more from a park ave address. The service was great. The steak average at best. Good martini.
