What an enjoyable evening. The food was absolutely wonderful. Great service, beautiful atmosphere and charming staff. We can't wait to go back!
Omg so I had a great time took the kids and they loved it..we had the spinach dip wow fresh and veggie pasta, scallop potatoes also the swiss sliders and blue cheese slider mind blown also they have these little different butter for your bread try the orange and I want to say garlic and chives.. what so good..the chef was amazing chef Odell sir you out did yourself..
I had high hopes that this was going to be a fine dining experience. But it was not a great experience at all. The main entree side vegetables were uninspired and very bland. The fish was not as fresh as it should have been for the price and location.
It’s a bummer to see Hannibals like this. First red flag was being able to get a reservation for 7 pm on Mother’s Day the morning of. Next red flag was them telling us they are out of butter... took 25 minutes to get a drink and appetizer order in, then another 30 till we got our appetizers. Once we had our appetizers we waited around 5 minutes to get utensils and plates. The place has declined severely. I fear they will go the way of dexters. Do better.
Fantastic drinks and food. The craft cocktails are fabulous!
This was my wife of 24 years and my very first outing, in our new cities, new downtown hipster upscale, ritzy area. And we cannot have been more pleased! Hannibal's on the square and the French restaurant attached, which unfortunately was not open because it was, late Sunday night, when we arrived, was an amazing experience with handcrafted cocktails and desserts at a very low price. Furthermore since Uber was price surge charging because of spring break in Orlando and we just wanted to go home on a $10 Uber ride, Uber happened to be $40 to $50, so the manager himself drove us home for five bucks gas and a handsome tip to the waitress Tara! What a night it was perfectly chilly but not too cold and my wife and I being from South Florida and Texas sat outside and enjoyed every minute of our free time together, that is since we could not get our teenagers to go do anything fun with us ...so we made our own fun. And was it perfect, wow very impressed! We will definitely be returning and recommending. The espresso martini and the Hannibal are definitely the two cocktails you should try whether it be alcoholic or not, and the triple chocolate cake with raspberry drizzle and vanilla ice cream on the side, was to die for, since it was late and the kitchen was closed and the creme brulee was not pre-made thank God. It has been probably two and a half years since we had a date night and it was well worth it thank you Hannibals, thank you Tara and thank you to the manager, whose name I'm awful with remembering for the wonderful ride home, it was truly an above and beyond experience!
Great venue. We go here often on evening weekends, and it is very accommodating. The service is wonderful, the drinks are mixed well, and the staff/owner are very friendly. The vibe at the establishment is low key and relaxing. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing experience at Hannibal's on the Square. Terra was a great server and the manager of the rest of the bar and restaurant was so caring he felt bad locals were paying 75$ to go 4 miles when it was a Sunday at 11pn and he lived by our house , not knowing us from Adam, he charged us 8.00, because he found locals being price gouged rediculous when we were charged 30$ to get there and had to wait till almost close because the Uber took 40 minutes to get to us and 20 minutes to drive us there. What a kind soul. Thank you, you will receive our business again, and might I mention the desert and cocktails were amazing and fair priced. Definitely a great last minute first date in years for my wife and I where everything was perfect! Thank you and much respect! We will be back frequently. Love love love this place!
Went on a Date Night with my husband here the service was great the ambiance was beautiful and the food was amazing will definitely be back
On my first trip to Florida I checked out a few places and Hannibal's definitely has to be one of my favorites. Their drinks are amazing, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the crab cakes, escargot, french onion soup and duck as the entree and it was a very sad time when they were all gone. Each was better than the last and needless to say I'll be going back every time I'm back in Florida!
Seriously the most amazing venison I've had since special weekends at a ranch during my childhood. My husband's diver scallops were soooo good - charred to perfection and super tender. Also, I definitely recommend the escargot in butter, the mussels, and the French onion soup. Food was too good to stop for photos! ?
Absolutely LOVE Hannibal's and Chez Vincent right next door. Food is amazing, service is professional, and the atmosphere makes the entire experience Top Notch.
My girlfriend took me here for dinner for a belated birthday, and we loved the food. We had great service from a server who made the evening wonderful. We were going to have a couple cocktails before dinner but we noticed a dark haired young lady behind the bar and I think the chef not wearing a mask at the bar. So we decided to skip drinks. (I think food handlers are mandated to wear masks in Florida) At first I thought maybe they were going to put them on after a while but the girl never put hers on for the entirety of our meal. and the chef had a plastic shield he hardly used. We almost left altogether but the server had a mask so we felt comfortable with ordering food. I will be back in the future. But not if COVID19 is still a part of our lives, and not if masks are optional here.Beautiful place, great food, better service! But masks shouldn't be optional.
The food and the service are amazing!
Great for sitting outside and people watching. The outside has a Nola vibe to it. The food wasn't anything impressive but good non the less. I was disappointed with the calamari appetizer. The portion was extremely small and had 4 to 5 little pieces of squid. The French onion soup was good. The picture I took of it doesn't do it justice.
