Prato has hit the sweet spot of combining a moody and trendy ambiance with fantastic food, and after all fantastic food is the most important. I loved sitting at the bar staring directly into their wood fired pizza oven; and let me tell you the pizza was fabulous. I ordered a pizza after my duck and truffle gnocchi (of which were yummmmmmy) and it was so delightful I managed to eat it too.I reccomended this restaurant to all Italian food lovers who also crave the feeling of excitement and youth that romantic restaurants such as this one provide.

This place is top notch. The food is great, the atmosphere is lively, and the ambience is homey and welcoming. Must try their pizza, it's probably the best in Orlando. Be wary that the place is very popular.

Great food, great ambience & great service! What could be better?


I ate there for the first time this weekend after hearing lots of rave reviews and I was a little underwhelmed.The good: 1. Our server was excellent! She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and speedy. 2. My friend ordered the Widow Maker pizza which I got to try and it was very delicious!The not-so-good: I ordered the burger and upgraded to truffle fries, both of which left much to be desired. The burger was a dense, flavorless hockey puck even though I asked for it medium done, and the bun they use is nothing special (kind of reminded me of pre-packaged, store-bought buns, which isn't ideal for a $14 burger). The fries were ok but definitely did not taste of truffles. I realize they're not made with actual truffles, but I was expecting a stronger flavor for a $2 upgrade, but they tasted just plain.I'll probably be back again for their pizza, but will definitely stay away from the burger.

We have been looking for a good European-style pizza and I thought this was going to be the one. It was close, but I missed the mark. We ordered on their website curbside pick up (mainly because we could not get a reservation last minute). We ordered a calamari appetizer and each of us got a pizza. The pick up process itself was great. When I realized it was on the busy street in Winter Park, I was nervous, but the spot in front of the restaurant was kept open for curbside, and the guy was literally at my car within one minute of me pulling in (before I even got a chance to alert the restaurant I was there). The order was packaged well and still in good shape after my journey home. The calamari was average, but really salty. The portion size of it was also really small. Like really small, the first thing I noticed when I opened it. Definitely not worth the money. As for the pizza, it was very good, but my one complaint was the crust, which was very doughy. Even the center part of the pizza towards the center was like this, and it made it very chewy, and the outer crust part was way too much. I don't know if this was just our specific pizzas and that they weren't cooked enough, or I don't know if this is how they are always made, but it was definitely A huge downside and will probably prevent us from going here again on our quest for the perfect pizza. Overall, the food was good, but definitely nothing special, and I will save my nights out for elsewhere.

Nice atmosphere on a hot day. Leo was an excellent waiter. very attentive. I had the cacio e pepe which was very good in spite of adding panchetta. Normally, the dish is just the pasta, pepper and cheese but I would order again because their version was tasty. The panini was also very good and a large serving. Will return.

First time coming and there was already a wait outside before opening! Inside is a wonderful atmosphere, rustic and romantic. Brunch offered a new colazione option (brunch), with a pork belly dish. I was sold on the soft boiled egg. Plating was inviting! Would've preferred the food temperature warmer... but overall dishes had good flavor. Would try again for dinner and drinks - Just gotta make sure I reserve :)


I was fortunate to meet a partner in Prato at their other store Luke’s. I was fair and honest with him about the lack of love and the bad attitude of the employees. Just because your are on PArk Ave that is no excuse to be snob. Get over yourself. If you want love go to Blu and ask for Nikko or GArp n Fuss and ask for Destiny or Boca and ask for Megan or UMI and ask for George or Luke’s and ask for Gabriela ….bottom lines Prato is a lost cause

It has been years since I've been to Prato. I remember really loving their pizza but unfortunately not much else. Someone recently mentioned going and loving everything they had. It's been so long, going back was really welcomed. Parking is typical park Ave parking. Parallel and when you see it, grab it. Prato inside is so gorgeous. It reminds me of a restaurant in Jersey city. Very modern, love the huge bar and plant life. Great date night spot. My fiancé and I shared the burrata which had its own unique twist. This burrata came on a crostini topped with blueberry compote and mint. It was veryyyyy good. We also split the diavola pizza and the cacio e Pepe. The pizza was really good. I would definitely order it again. The pasta was a little small for me but good nonetheless. For dessert, I highly recommend the olive oil cake. Love love LOVE!! We haven't made happy hour but I am told it's a separate menu. Def would recommend!


I searched online for something different... I found it, the Widowmaker. A fresh tasting pizza with arugula and an a sunny side up egg. It was delicious and very filling, I actually expected a personal sized pizza based on the pictures online, I didn't even look at the menu.

Best woodfired napolitan Pizza in Orlando. Rankings are 1 - Prato, 2 - F&D Woodfire Kitchen, 3 - Pizza Bruno. Best dough by far and only quality fresh ingredients. Though not cheap, if you go for happy hour 4-6 Monday - Thursday you can get a $10 pizza and $5 glass of wine which is a steal. The outdoor seating is quite nice right in the heart of Winter Park.
