Terrible experience. 3 meals ordered at 8:20, 2 meals didn’t come out until 9. The third meal did not come out (period) even after the other meals were completed and we asked for the check (not compensated at all, other than the one meal that never came). The eggplant parm was nearly burnt/inedible— my mom’s favorite. The server was apologetic but owned the fact that the order was not put in correctly; however, a correction was not made in a timely fashion by ANYONE. It takes 15 mins to cook chicken cristo, we waited another 25-30. For three people, the total would have been ~$180 and the portions are half of what would be served at any other Italian restaurant. Avoid at all costs.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's birthday. All the food was delicious except for the snapper, which was a little too fishy & strong tasting. Grilled Salmon was exceptional. The drinks were fabulous. The Parma Cosmo is to die for. Deserts were excellent, especially the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Piano entertainment topped the night off with perfection. We will be repeat customers.

The initial old school Italian feel of the atmosphere is charming, but over the course of the experience, just gives "outdated".We were seated at a booth with seats that had not been thoroughly wiped. The water smelled strange. The food was extremely mid in taste and small portioned for the price. The "garlic rolls" were the size of Totino's pizza rolls, making you feel the need to eat 10 for the satisfaction of 1. The staff were friendly and attentice. The music was fine, though definitely meant for an elderly crowd.Wouldn't recommend or return.

Have been here once before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Tonight with friends the waiter moved like an ice flow in a deep freeze. Steak was cold and stringy. Sent it back spoke with the manager took the waiter three attempts at the check. Waste of time, waste of money and 2.5 hours of my life I will never get back.

The best dining experience in a long time. Zeta, our server also sang. I could not believe the emotion, the fun, the friendliness with everyone there. Totally a supper club... loved everything about it. Had salmon.. cooked to perfection.

Came here for a change of pace and to enjoy live music. Furious we spent $165 for three people for a below mediocre experience. Honestly, the worst food Ive had outside of an airport. Atmosphere was tired and dated, unappealing fluorescent light bulbs in ceiling radiated from private party space to our table. Food was borderline inedible: chewy, undercooked veal in a glue-like marsala, cold, mushy pasta that could only be compared to chef boyardee out of a can, salad looked as if was prepared by a 12 year old. Tomatoes cut into slices the size of hockey pucks. The ingredients were poor quality. The singer, who was fun and entertaining couldn't sing in key to save her life. What a waste!!!

Hands down the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Horrible food. Horrible and unprofessional service.

We have been going there for years, but now it is under new management. All I can say is they have forgotten how to use garlic or any other spices. The food was blan and I mean all of the dishes. Will not being back.

The atmosphere is classy cool, and the service is remarkable. They rapidly attend to your every need to ensure you have the most pleasant experience possible. The live music was everything you’d hope for in a suburban piano bar. There were a couple of professional vocalists, a pianist who has obviously been playing for decades, and a multi-instrumentalist who could jam in accompaniment. Our meals of chicken parmigiana and chicken paesano were so good that we ended up with fewer leftovers than anticipated. Neither the garlic rolls nor the house salad were anything spectacular. The chocolate cake is not freshly made. The crème brûlée was disappointing. Maybe skip dessert? Great place to take a date.

It was a very bad experience, we sat for two hours and the food never arrived, we had guests and we had spoken very highly of the restaurant. We ended up at Waffle House which was the only thing open when they told us that they were not going to serve our food. We couldn't see why they hadn't treated us so badly, they passed us the bill and we had to pay for such a bad experience, the manager never showed his face, neither did the owners, we hope you read this so you never go to this restaurant

We waited over two hours and 10 minutes and never received our food. The chef got sick in the kitchen and walked out. He was evidently the only one to cook. The owner went back and tried to cook. They could not guarantee when our food will be ready, so four tables walked out. This was on Valentine's Day celebration. They did not even top the salad or drinks. The service has been going down since the new owner purchased the restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be returning!

Valentine Day dinner with my wife was a fiasco - can't honestly rate my meal since after 2 hours of waiting for the food to come out we left. We have had wonderful experiences at Altobeli's in the past but last night, on probably the busiest night of the year, they only had 2 cooks working and one left half way through meal service. The restaurant did not handle the situation appropriately and kept promising that the food would be out soon. All of us waiting for food should have been told what was going on and that it would be hours before everyone was served. That way, we may have been able to salvage some of our night. Instead, we got promises, a salad and rolls instead of a romantic dinner.

Wow. Made a reservation for 6:15 and arrived at 6pm. Restaurant was practically empty except for a large birthday group in the side room and the hostess headed there to seat us. I asked if we could be in the main dining section so it wouldn't be as loud with the large group and she said, "no we are fully booked tonight and that is where we have you and you cannot move." She then proceeds to sit us at a small table next to the large group. All other tables were empty. Only one other table was occupied in main dining room. My husband and I could not even hear each other talk. So we got up and told her that we were going to leave because we could not even hear each other and she said "okay". Won't be back!
