This is a mom and pop restaurant - that is why the food here is amazing. Be ready to wait for the food - but - it is authentic and tastes amazing!!! The place is run by a couple - “aunty” is in the kitchen and supervises and cooks. “Uncle” is at the register and manages the orders. Every time we go here - we can’t help but compliment the owner on the food taste. Atmosphere is more “fast food” - no servers or greeters and that is perfectly ok. The food quality and taste more than makes up for any issues you may have with the “atmosphere”

I went with my wife and daughter for a quick dinner tonight. I've been a few times before and enjoyed pav bhaji, dosa and a few other items. The counter service from the owner is always kind and helpful. Tonight I ordered paratha egg curry, which was absolutely delicious. The owner suggested a special of idiyappam with kadala curry and coconut chutney which is rice noodles and a black chickpea curry. This really stole the show, and I'm so glad he made the suggestion. My daughter isn't very adventurous, so she just ate the noodles. I ate the curry and remaining idiyappam. We're lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood!

I love this place. Their appam and Curry is always my best favorite. My family loves their parota amd curry. This time when we went there, we ordered for Palada Payasam too and that reminded me of one of my friend getting it from her home. It tasted too good, just like homemade. The drawback is the space, and the time that we have to wait for the food. One should only go to this place, if they have plenty of time at their disposal.

I'm not sure I want to share the secret... although maybe the secret is out because the last time we were there this year, there was a hour long wait for our food (we were told it would take an hour ahead of time). I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not an Indian cuisine connoisseur - but my Indian friend has brought me here twice and it is the real deal. I can't list everything I've tried - because he's always in charge of ordering and all I can say is that everything is delicious. But the Pani Puri, dosa and basically anything Idli are all a must. And of course, no matter what time it is, the Aunty's Hot Coffee (filter coffee) is a must. I can't wait to stop in to Aunty's Kitchen again for my next Indian feast!!

Our favorite restaurant. We liked every dish that we tried. It's a small mom and pop joint. You can really taste the quality with which the food is made. Since majority of the food is cooked by aunty alone, the wait can be long on weekends. But definitely worth the wait.

My bf took me there and it’s honestly a great restaurant when u don’t want to eat heavy even though their menu is little small but they still offer variety on street style food and have TODAYS SPECIAL that changes every week. if you’re tired from Punjabi food this is great spot. They definitely have a variety in starters and their South Indian dishes are the best. I tried Aapam the first time in my life and it was so yummy; Like dosa and idli together lol. They have this coconut milk that comes with it; really hits the spot and their vadapav is the best.

A lovely mom n pop all vegetarian Indian family restaurant serving excellent Indian cuisine, specifically Kerala cuisine. The husband is the cashier and the waiter while the son and wife prepare the food. There are daily specials usually written on a chalkboard at the payment counter. Menus are there right next to it, as well as other small boxes of take along boxes for your home like pickles. Once you place your order and pay for it, you can find a table for yourself or sit at the bar against the wall. There are a couple of tables on the outside, but the majority of the seats are on the inside. Once your order is ready, your name will be called out to come and pick it up.Weekdays are usually less crowded, but the weekends are just plain crazy crowded, which should show the popularity of the restaurant. But the people serving are lovely and very friendly. If you are new to the Kerala cuisine and are unsure of what dish to order or how best to eat it, just ask. They'll tell you the correct way to eat it so that you can enjoy it best. There are your usual street dishes or South Indian dishes, but the truly good ones are the dishes that are from Kerala. So would recommend opting for them if you are feeling adventurous and don't forget to ask how to ask how best to enjoy the dish.If you are planning to take your dish togo, place your order over a call (during which you can ask for the daily specials) and come down to the restaurant to pick it up. I'm not sure if they doordash or Uber eats since I've not checked it out.A friend of mine who is from the same area in Kerala as the restaurant owners said these dishes are as original as they can come.I've been here many times before, as usual, very hungry, but this is the first time I've remembered to take pics to post a review. Food's too yummy to remember to take pics for posting a review. :)Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegetarian.
