It's a hip, popular little place. There are a ton of office nearby, so I'm sure there are a good amount of workers that come here for lunch. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. They make it accessible, light, and open. It's easy to grab a table and walk right in.

This place failed to update their website or Google listing, says their open and my friends and I drove 1.5 hours to find out they are moving to a new location. That's not respectful to your customers, bad management.

Made a reservation online, received confirmation of my reservation....TWICE, the day i made the reservation and at 8am the day of the reservation...only to show up and the restaurant is apparently closed for good. Their website didn't show anything regarding the location closing and they obviously haven't updated their information online because Google still shows them as a functioning restaurant.

As per the AJC the restaurant is set to close on 1/2/2024. Sad to see them go, as they were on my list as top 3 burgers in Atlanta. I had to see the Atlanta location close, and now this. Looking forward to see what the brand will do next in Sandy Springs.

Fried green tomatoes... $10 for 2 slices? They were good, but even upscale places give you enough to share with friends.

The owner, Brian Lewis, is literally street trash. I've never encountered anyone as egotistical and arrogant like this fool. Not to mention....he's dishonest, and childish. Burgers are only 6 ounces for $20. Go to Five Guys or Grind House Burgers. Uber affordable and super tasty.

On the expensive side, but a quality burger option Bocado in Avalon offers halal beef burgers (prepared and cooked separately), so we decided to check them out. The inside is medium-sized, but they have a lot of outside seating as well. The food was average wait time. We ordered the Avalon burger, fries, shrimp po'boy, and the kid cheeseburger. The Avalon burger was really fresh, flavorful, and overall, an above average burger. It's on the smaller size, but you can taste the beef patty flavor as soon as you take a bite. I like that they didn't overload or cover up the natural patty flavor. The fries were a hit or miss. Some plates had okay fries, while others had the small, mostly burnt pieces. The kid cheeseburger had the same level of freshness, but with just one patty and no toppings. The po'boy was a pass. Shrimp was okay, but it was hard to eat, and had no sauce in it. insta reviews: @dfweatshalal

I got the Bocado burger with a Gate City beer from Roswell. The burger itself was very good ($17.50). It was juicy and cooked well. Fries on the other hand were well below par. They tasted like a dry potato with no flavor. Definitely wouldn't recommend the fries. The beer was fine, probably wouldn't get again. Service was fine, and atmosphere is higher scale for sure. It's part of what you pay for.

I dined yesterday, 11/19 to celebrate my son's birthday and the Tree Lighting at Avalon. We were seated quickly and our server, Ashley M. was great and attentive. It was a table of 5 adults, 1 child. We waited forever about 45 mins for our food. Apparently there was a mix-up, the kitchen packed our orders to go instead of dine-in. When the food came out, everyone's food came out expect for mine. I didn't order anything extravaganza or special, just the delicious Southwest burger. The kitchen forgot to make it. I finally got my food, we ate and they gave my son a scoop of ice cream for his birthday. What dismayed me was the fact the table next to ours, a mom and her kids, order was messed up. The manager came over, graciously apologized, discounted their bill and gave them complimentary food. The manager never came to our table although it took us over 45 mins to get our food, it was warm, not hot, warm, because they boxed it up and I'm presuming it sat there, and my food had to be made, because they forgot it. Our server apologized, and she was nice, so we didn't make a fuss about it. So all in all, the food was good, the dark chocolate milkshake with caramel was good, but how you treat your customers goes a long way and I won't be back because of that. I've gone to chain establishments where the manager comes and greets is, apologizes and offers something to make it right.

Allow me to start with it was Black Friday but they were not busy as other eateries . The service from the host was amazing the service from the waitress was hidden at best . My mother had a chicken caeser salad which lacked flavor on the chicken. I had a the cowboy burger medium. The bottom bun was grease covered not able to hold the bun. Flavor on burger was good bbq was not enough and same with onion strings . All in all interesting menu but I don't see myself returning .

Went here with my brother & cousin last month. They’re big into burgers and agreed their burgers were absolutely amazing. The service was great, very attentive. I believe the owner was also assisting us. Loved the fact that their ingredients are local. My brother & I are from NY so we were disappointed there wasn’t a location here. 10/10 would go again. The owner even thanked us for coming while we were walking halfway out of the parking lot.

Overall just an okay experience.Came here because I heard they serve halal burgers and I've heard good things about their burgers.Staff didn't really seem informed about the halal burgers but someone finally confirmed. Service was just okay. The burgers took a long time to come out, it was not a busy day. Unfortunately no one at my table was impressed, the burger is just okay. Nothing special compared to other halal/non-halal burgers I have tried. This place is out of the way for me so I'm unlikely to come again. Maybe if I'm ever in the area.Dietary restrictions: They offer halal burgers
