Service was super slow and no one apologized about it. The Grouper sandwich was good, the salad was average and the chicken sandwich was just ok. I do not think i am coming back to this place.

Where to start. We had a 6:00 reservation on a Saturday night. I walked in and told the host that our party was parking and he was very okay with that. While I was waiting for the other two parties my husband walked in and waited at the hostess stand. Two other people came in after him and the host came up to the stand and completely ignored my husband and immediately greeted the two people behind him who did not have reservations. They were very sweet and said hey he was here before us. That's where it started. Our waitress was so super sweet she was wonderful and the food was great! We finished with dinner and then the four of us ordered four coffees and four Bailey's. The manager Melissa then proceeded to come up to us while we are waiting for our drinks and asked if we could move so a party of eight who had a reservation as well could sit. She said that they could put us either outside with heaters or the first table in front of the doors and it's pretty cold out. Never did they say hey For your inconvenience we will get your coffees and Bailey's and when we proceeded to say that we were not interested in that she was absolutely rude. Then the table that was next to us finally got up they were able to accommodate the party of eight and the party of eight table sat down and glared at us the entire time. We spent over $300 and again our server was so very sweet but we were made to feel so badly and it completely changed the mood of our wonderful time. Note to owners your manager Melissa needs to be fired she was awful she rolled her eyes at us she made us feel badly for not wanting to get up while we were actively ordering and she needs to understand that we were paying customers as well.

Came in on a Sunday, the location was great, right next to an Avalon parking lot. The restaurant was pretty empty when we were there, we asked to sit outside to enjoy the outdoor elements of Avalon but the covered patio was a bit eerie: no music and only one other couple out there, so we were just listening to the guy smacking his lips as he ate. Our server was okay, seemed kind of short with us but I think thats probably just because she was frustrated with how slow it was that day, which I understand. She pitched us on the margarita of the day, which was Mango Peach. We ordered 2 and I'm pretty sure it was just a normal margarita with a splash of peach liqueur in there. Tasted fine, but if you had just told me it was a regular margarita I would've believed you. The food is the real reason I decided to leave a review. My partner and I really enjoyed the appetizers we got, Jalapeno Candied Bacon Sweet Potato Fries (pretty good) and Salt & Vinegar Brussel Sprouts(I didn't really taste any vinegar, but I love brussels so its fine). We both ordered the scallops, a 29 dollar entree. They were a huge letdown, everything was oily and bland. The menu said it had bacon & leek, and I think my plate had maybe one crumb of bacon, I don't think there was any leeks at all. The scallops had less flavor than the potatoes, and the spinach was covered in oil. Me and my partner are super lax when it comes to restaurants as we work in one as well and we know what all goes into a single table's experience, and I have to imagine that this place is better on busier nights or maybe they had people out sick and were struggling to keep things consistent, but that was my least favorite dining experience I've had in years. Major letdown, especially our entrees, which I feel like I could've made at home and done a much better job. Super disappointing experience.

Great location and great food! The only issue was it was cold in the limited seating area and we were told that the heater was out for over two weeks now. But the food was great.

Great place to stop in and have any one of over 200 Bourbons or Ryes and maybe a bite to eat. Great shopping intermission!
I came here for dinner with my family. Parking at Avalon is usually fine, just takes some hunting. I recommend parking in the deck/lot on the Whole Foods side. We were seated immediately when we arrived and got a spot on their heated patio which was nice. We ordered a few drinks and as a bourbon lover, I was a BIG fan of all the options they had available! I had an Espresso Manhattan which was pretty good and a fun twist on a Manhattan. My dad had a Smokin in the Cab which was so delicious and smoky. My mom had the Branch Berry which was probably my overall favorite. For appetizers, we got the broiled goat cheese which was so delicious and I adored the jalapeno peach chutney we got with it. For dinner, we tried a few things including the fried grouper, chicken sandwich, farmhouse burger, and I subbed a regular patty on their Impossible burger which came with goat cheese, smoked tomato jam, & arugula. My burger was super delicious, and everyone else enjoyed their meals too! Overall, really solid spot in Avalon to check out!
Food was pretty good. Fried grouper was salty. Scallops and potatoes good, hot chicken with risotto and collard greens good but thought chicken was boneless. Slow wait on our drinks on first and second order.staff not readily available
We had a terrific lunch at Branch and Barrel. Sam our server was outstanding, tending to our every need including my husband's ketchup spill. We had the Farmhouse burger and both the burgers and fries were delicious. We can't wait to go back.

We walked into a relatively empty restaurant on a freezing night. They told us we had to be seated by the door that continues to open. When we asked to be seated away from the door, we were told that the reservations tables were “pre assigned” and she can't change it. You need to admit that you won't accommodate my request because you could actually meet my request if you wanted to. They offered to seat us on the covered patio that was “cozy” with the heaters blasting. So, we chose that option over the front door. The patio was warmer, but cold as Alaska and not what we wanted for our weekly date night. The food was great, the service and attention to customer's wishes is left to be desired. In a service based business, we should always strive to take care of the customer's experience.
