Good bagels, horrid customer serviceWe visited this store today a few minutes before their closing time, 2:00 PM. I made an honest mistake and thought the closing time was 3:00 PM, which is why we went. Upon arrival, once we realized the closing time was 2:00 PM, I asked if they were still taking orders, to which they replied yes.The person working at the counter (a woman in her 50s appearance wise) proceeded to treat us very rudely and seemed upset that we had come late. We ordered 13 bagels and a few spreads, and asked if they could slice the bagels for us. At this point the employee started to argue with my wife for asking the bagels to be sliced. Instead of choosing from the bagels on display, which looked fresh and delicious, this employee proceeded to fill our order in the back, and tossed our order down in front of us.If we have come too close to closing time, I would rather be told 'we are closed, please come back tomorrow', then to be let in and treated in such a rude manner. A person can mistake the closing time of an establishment; it was an honest mistake.I pointed out as much to the disgruntled employee, who proceeded to raise her voice at me as well, make some random hand gestures at us and walked into the back. Upon arriving at home, we found that the bagels she had placed in the box were old and stale.They make good bagels, but have temperamental people working there. An absolutely horrible experience; we will never return to this establishment.

Bagel was fluffy but everything from the bagel to the egg and bacon lacked seasoning and was very dry. Not the best but perhaps the cream cheese would be great.

Traveled 2 hrs just to see for myself how "Brooklyn" they are, and it truly brought back memories of home for sure, which is of course NY amazing food and service! Even took home a to go bag, for the fam all the way back to Paulding ?

Bad hygiene on food lineI was trying not to leave this review. I tried calling to speak to someone but they let the phone ring out. I originally became aware of this place by doing Uber eats. I decided to give it a try and put in a delivery order online. When I received my sandwich it was missing the meat. After calling I was told to come back for a remake. I arrived the following Sunday (today) , and waited in line for my turn to order. While waiting in line I noticed one specific woman on the food line who was participating in making the food. While making orders. She was shamelessly stuffing her face with her fingers half way in her mouth, damn near eating those too each time she took a bite of whatever she was eating. Then casually grabbing the egg for customers sandwiches in between bites. She did not change gloves or show any type of care, even after looking me in the eyes twice. Knowing I was watching her.Being that I don’t know the name of this employee, I can only describe her. She was a hefty woman with a ponytail, in her 20’s.

It’s like being transported to a NY deli! Food and service are wonderful. Wish we’d discovered it earlier. You can’t find a better bagel than here unless you go to NY.

Empire State bagel is tasty. Speedy service as well
Today I sat there for 45 minutes waiting for two bagels. Apparently apparently they lost my order and it took another 15 minutes to get my two bagels after that no refund just a sorry buddy this isn’t my first issue I’ve had with this customer service there don’t think I’ll be coming

This place is so popular and I came on the suggestion of a friend. It was really busy and they didn't have much seating, plus the food was average at best, the menu was hard to see, written on paper and attached to their service counter. The service was ok but nothing startling. I won't be in a rush to come back.
