Fajita was served on a rusted iron pan with rust sticking to your hand when you hold it.When I asked to switch the pan and let the waiter know the pan wasn’t seasoned to prevent rusting, he came back with same pan rubbed with oil all around to camouflage the rust in the pan serving me the same rusty food.

Went here last Friday night. Walked right in and got a table. 15 minutes later it was full! We quickly found out why. Great drinks, great food. I used to drive far to a cheaper Mexican restaurant, but as soon as I tasted the drinks and food at El Don I realized why the other place was cheaper - the food quality is WAY better at El Don! Daniela was exceptional as our server and Oscar (manager) checked in periodically to make sure our service and food was superb. There was live music and a larger birthday party, at one point we had a 50 person conga line going throughout the restaurant! Great atmosphere, great food, tons of fun on a Friday/Saturday night!

Sadly idk what has happened but the tacos carnitas used to be the best thing when u opened now they are dry and flavorless it makes me sad I love your restaurant please put some pico de gallo or something on your carnitas, just onions and meat is not pleasant I don’t want to need water when I eat them and the lady with the creepy nails took over 25 min to take our order and we have waited another 20 min to get another drink and have to wave this woman down to get help us! she hasn’t checked on us once we are still waiting on the creepy nails lady ??
Great drinks, delicious food, and live music! We have been here a number of times and have enjoyed every meal. We get the margarita with mezcal - it is delish! The queso and guacamole are great snacks. Our dinner goto is tacos or quisdillas, but you really can not go wrong. They also do not rush you out, so grab a drink and enjoy the live music.

Really great Mexican restaurant in the area!! Staff is always friendly and nice!! I ordered the grilled chicken burrito which is always really good. Service is always excellent here. They also always bring you chips before you are empty. Love coming here for dinner!!

Our server was terrific and the atmosphere here is wonderful! My daughter ordered horchata which came in a gigantic glass and it was delicious. The chips were hot and fresh and the queso was really good. My duo fajitas came out sizzling and gorgeous! I only wish they were more seasoned, it was odd how bland they were. I doctored them up with some of the amazing salsa we had been served and a generous amount of salt which was noticeably missing from the dish. For dessert my daughter ordered the churros. They were sooo good and served with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The portions were large and plenty of parking. We will definitely be back next time we're in Alpharetta. Highly recommend.
