My friends and I stopped by Grouchy's New York Deli in Alpharetta for the first time yesterday. We found a great selection of deli sandwiches, wraps, soup, and baked goodies to choose from. I really enjoyed my turkey club sandwich on sourdough bread. Next time I need to remember to ask for my bread to be toasted. A friend got the matzo ball soup and a Rueben sandwich, and it looked really good too.

Wow! Bruce and his team did such an amazing job on our last luncheon,m. We’ve hired them several times for our events, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Should you need one of the best caterers ever for fresh salads and awesome sandwiches. The best of the best. If I could give them six stars I would.

Everything here has gotten smaller. Tiny sandwiches and wraps, tiny sides(especially to-go), and smaller cookies than before. All with higher prices, def not worth it to go here for lunch anymore. What a shame.... You'd think a New York deli would at least have decent sized sandwiches.

Great family-owned deli. Pastrami was excellent and their Russian dressing was also great. They have gluten free options for sensitive stomachs.

I want to like Grouchy's, and I don't hate it. But I lived in NY for 17 years and for claiming to be a NY deli I find it lacking.Food is good but sandwiches feel might on the meat, and an Italian sandwich should not have mayo on it, ever. Italian dressing not mayo.If you want a decent sandwich they've got it but if you are there for an authentic NY experience, I don't think this is quite it.

I have eaten here a few times and it is usually very good. This time I ordered the burger and it wasn't good. It was just two grisly Bubba burger patties on a bunch with lettuce and tomato. I would not order a burger from here.
