It was our first time dining here and Aaron was kind enough to explain everything patiently. He was pleasant, nice & made us comfortable. The food was super good, especially the Spicy Chicken Ramen. We all loved the Aloha mocktail. The place is kid-friendly. Loved the atmosphere. Definitely will go back soon.

Food is great but when I don’t feel like eating in I will call in my order for pickup. The issue I have with this is that they are inconsistent on when they want me to pay over the phone or not. There was a recent time they did actually want me to pay over the phone so I had to recite my card number to them (whoever takes the phone orders is at front desk in front of dine on customers) so as I was reciting the card number and everything on my card the lady taking order recites all of my personal card information aloud over the phone in front of other customers. I could tell because it was really loud in the back. I feel she recited it aloud because she was trying to make sure she heard me correctly but it made me uncomfortable that now my card information is breached with others knowing all of it minus my actual name. Just a rule to never recite people card information aloud in front of customers if you want to take payment information over the phone. I’d honestly get rid of paying over the phone as a whole and just pay when I pick up.

Amazing Ramen place in Alpharetta. We tried all their vegetarian appetizers and ramens, and everything was delicious.I specifically loved their Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, Impossible Gyoza and Panna Cotta.

I went to Jinya in Alpharetta to have lunch with one of my friend’s who was visiting from out of town. I had hyped up the place a lot because I love the ramen here, but would prefer the Sandy Springs location over the Alpharetta one. However the service at the Alpharetta location is below par.My friend had ordered a chicken ramen, and her chicken was cold. When she sent it back they gave her a smaller portion of chicken. I ordered the spicy vegan ramen and asked to make it hot. When they brought it out it was not hot…it was the normal way it’s made. This is actually the 2nd time this has happened to me at this location. When I brought this up to my waiters attention she said oh I think they just forgot to mix it, which is unacceptable. When we order something and asked that it’s a spicier level than the basic plate it should come cooked that way.

After some months since the disastrous experience at the Sandy Springs Jinya, last fall, before any food was even ordered, I suppose this location benefitted from the time since. I didn't recognize "Jinya" as a chain restaurant also located in Alpharetta. (Not until I recalled and looked up the ramen place in Sandy Springs, to see if it was a different name. Turned out to be the same.) So, I continue this review with a bit of bias, but I base it on the complete experience of the Alpharetta location. After business concluded at the Alpharetta library, Jinya was offered and accepted over an initial choice of Thai. I had practically given up on ramen, but thought to give this place a chance (not recognizing it). However, after dining at this Alpharetta Jinya, I am convinced ramen joints aren't my thing. The service was exceptional. Almost over the top, even though my party didn't receive the employee greeting offered to everyone else that came in after us. The food, on the other hand, was so so. I could have just as easily made ramen at home. I think I had set my expectations too high with ordering the spicy creamy vegan soup. Also, I settled for egg noodles instead of going out or elsewhere for the noodles I carved. Not to mention the apparent case of the soup's pricing being more than the value of it satiating me.Fortunately, an interesting conversation with my party kept most of my attention from the environment. I did notice how the crowd had dispersed at one point, to which given the time when my party finished and the overcast of the day, I was sure there would be quite the wait of people waiting to get in, be seated, and served. There was this lull in which a father and son appeared to share ice cream, a lady and a toddler had come in and sat parallel to my party, and before I knew it, I was leaving Jinya. The effects of the ramen would be had at home, though; and in my opinion, soup—spicy or not—shouldn't cause the runs. To which, my stomach wrestled with the ramen a day later.

JINYA has probably been in the top 5 best ramen places I've ever had the pleasure of slurping through. They are tucked up in downtown Alpharetta and deserve more attention. Everytime I go I'm getting something hearty. My personal favorite is their black tonkotsu. They get busy fast but they have some seating at the counters. And don't pass up on their appetizers! They are worth sharing with friends and family or even small dates.

It’s decent cozy place to try Ramen. Love their spicy chicken broth. I ordered crispy chicken with spicy sauce but it came out like it was fully soaked in oil. But their service and atmosphere was really good. Their spicy sauce is spot on!Vegetarian options: They have Vegan Ramen.

We made a reservation the day before for a party of 9, but the hostess couldn’t find it in their system. Frustrating. Although our server was very nice, the service was VERY slow. Took almost 2 hours for a ramen meal. Need more service staff. Lots of workers (managers??) and hostesses standing around, but not helping the wait staff. The ramen tasted good, but not worth the time or the $.

Loved absolutely everything about this place. I ordered the Tonkotsu Original 2010 and it was absolutely superb. I probably could have drank a whole mug of just the savory pork broth. We are DEFINITELY coming back.
