The owner is rude. Went to the place around 5:50 pm. Almost 80% of the tables were empty. The server was setting up the table for us when the owner comes out and says the restaurant is booked for the night. The server was so embarrassed. Never going back to this place.

I belive they are closing, the owner seemed very frustrated and turned purple away if they didn't have a booking even though they weren't full- I felt sorry for the wait staff who could have had more tables. The food was homely and patio setting was very nice.

I have no idea if this place has good food or not but I wouldn't step foot in this place, the owner is heartless racist! Just before a Food Truck Alley Night a Hispanic woman pulled into his parking lot with a flat tire. The owner demanded she leave, she said she was waiting on her husband who was on his way to change the tire and she would be on her way. The owner called the police! When the police arrived, this delightful woman explained the situation and the police apologized for the embarrassment and left. Her husband changed the flat and she was on her way. I wouldn't spend a dime at this establishment! This all took place between 3:30 and 4:00 in the afternoon well ahead of the Thursday night event. I can't believe these people still exist. I hope this business doesn't!!! SHAME!!!

We are NJ transplants with Italian heritage. The food was excellent. Our server Diana was outstanding. She made sure that she visited our table several times to make sure we were completely satisfied. I had the veal piccata with a side of angel hair pasta with oil & garlic. The veal and pasta was prepared to perfection. My wife had the shrimp parmigiana which was also excellent. The manager went out of his way to be sure our food was prepared exactly how we liked it. The Cabernet wine was excellent. Creme Brûlée was second to none. This was a GREAT experience. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Went to La Casa Italian Grill with a large group (12 people) to celebrate two birthdays. We made reservations 2 weeks prior to this event. When we arrived, they had the reservation number incorrect and we had to wait for them to assemble the tables. Our server, Pasqual, was rude and impatient with our group. When he brought out salads (calling out type to the entire table) one member was in a conversation and missed his "announcement" and then said, "oh that's mine" and he actually said "well, pick it up then." I couldn't believe it. We were in our own room, he came in and called out the food for people to acknowledge and handed them the plate. Now, at this price point, I would expect professional service, where our food is brought out and served in a professional manner. My dinner was left off the ticket and was brought 10 minutes after the group. When my $27 entrée arrived it was rare Salmon at best and for me was inedible. I ended up taking it home and cooking it more and eating it at another time. Our total bill was around $600 and we are good tippers! He gave two people tickets with wrong items on them (they just changed money as opposed to bringing it to his attention) and then charged two other people the wrong amounts. He brought out our tickets before we had even received out desserts and coffee. As you can see, it wasn't a great experience. I gave it two stars because the wine (Montepulciano by the glass) was wonderful. Dessert was good as well. I typically give restaurants two tries but I don't think I will be back. Final note, I received a phone call the next day (after being there) asking why my group didn't keep their reservation that night and I stated that we were there on our assigned night. He apologized...so they really didn't get the reservation right either. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I have loved coming to this place for 15 years. Came here tonight at 5:30 and was turned away with because we did not have a reservation. The entire place was empty, litterally one table. Will never come back

We had a beautiful evening. The food was awesome, and we discovered a new wine at the same time. Alycia was an excellent server and gave perfect recommendations. Our 14-year old granddaughter loved the Alfredo and even tried Calamari, which she liked. We will certainly return. Another great thing -- no parking problem.

Terrible, owner is a duche bag. If you go make sure he isn’t there. The staff under him is great. We loved heather and John. Food was ok Italian and would have been a fine experience if the owner was soooi bad. Embarrassing that he is an Italian!

We have wanted to try it for years but live an hour away. Now it doesn't matter, we will be regulars! The food is great, service is outstanding, we love John and Heather! Most of all just being there is fun! It's not stiff or too casual, its great and I hate when servers hover over you, we never lack for anything but had plenty of time to talk and enjoy our date!

We came across this cute little place by accident. It was absolutely the best service and food we have had in a very long time. Our server, Samantha, was wonderful. The chef obviously puts a lot of care into his food, and will prepare most things to your dietary needs. Its a keto, Paleo, gluten free, low carb heaven! Thank you La Casa Italian Grill for making our dining experience simply fabulous! We will be back soon!

This was our first time at La Casa and we will be back. Love the old building they are in. They have great curb appeal with the cute fountain out front. Very happy with the menu. The tomato bisque soup is one of the best I've had. We ordered the chicken and eggplant Parmesan as we're fans of them. And the standards are a good bellwether test of a new place for us. They were delicious and did not disappoint. And they are generous with the cheese! We would have preferred to sit in the back of the restaurant in one of the more ambient, intimate dining areas. Instead the diners were clearly being packed into the front area that had really bright light and was subject to the noise etc of guest traffic. Plus it's still COVID so being crammed in a small area with other parties when it wasn't needed was an odd choice. Also the music was weird. How about some Frank Sinatra or something more sophisticated for a cute Italian place? When we come back we know to ask for a table in the other areas and we're going to try the ziti.

Food is always delicious. The owner is very friendly and always makes time to chat with all his guests.Portions are large so be prepared to take some home.

Had the spaghetti squash with grilled chicken for dinner and it was exceptional. Very cozy and home like restaurant with a friendly knowledgeable staff.

Food was good and service was good. Restaurant should not allow pets on the porch. I don't want to listen to a dog bark at a table next to me while I am trying to have a nice dinner.
