Unexpected upcharge on drinks. Food and service was above average, which is something you would expect in this area and price point. When the bill came, we were a bit put off by the $2/ice block upcharge for each old fashioned we ordered in addition to the premium bourbon we selected. The fact that you would make a proper old fashioned with crushed ice was a bit puzzling. While the amount was insignificant to the $500 we spent for a party of four, I would have expected to be informed about the charge upfront.Days later, it isn’t the great dinner that we’re all talking about, but rather how we spent $14 on ice for seven drinks. At this price point, it’s the little details that matter.That’s my bougie first-world problem review.

Came here for their lobster roll only to find out it's not on their winter menu. So I tried their crusted trout entree. Awful dish with the cauliflower puree that was very cheesy, and the roasted veggies were smeared with this awful cheese. The fish had a pool of butter as it's base - just floating like a grease pool. And then the trout filet placed on top of all this mess, with almond slices and raisins. One bite into the fish and I wondered why the fish was so bland, amid all that decoration. Never did I push the dish away from me so quickly. Overpriced underwhelming dish. The staff didn't ask me why I didnt touch my dish - they just asked if I needed a box. Very disappointed!

Walked by here a few times and decided to give it a try on kid free weekend(2 of us). Made a reservation and arrived on the dot. Was told we would have to wait 20 minutes. We ended up waiting 30. Not usually a big deal but they will charge $50.00 a person (and only hold your table for 15 minutes) if you don't show up so it's pretty hypocritical on them. We get sat in a large room filled with large and very loud parties. I can barely hear the server. The seafood pasta on the menu online was no longer being served and replaced with shrimp Alfredo. That was one of the reasons we went there. Our server was not knowledgeable on some of the items when I asked what something was. They said they didn't really know what the item was. A waitstaff person brought us drinks we didn't order. My spouse ordered the shrimp Alfredo and her shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. My steak was fine. I never complain about a restaurant but everything that occurred compared to the high cost of the meal was a major letdown. I don't recommend.

Another excellent experience @ Lapeer. Our server Lexy was timely, professional, friendly and courteous/. Food was again fantastically prepared. Blue cheese wedge and ribeyes for both of us. And the Eagle Rare old fashioned and Tito's Cosmo are top of the list in ALPH. We'll be back! Rick & Kris

My daughter and son-in-law took me here for dinner to celebrate my 71st birthday. Our evening started with two big hits (fresh oysters and frozen espresso martinis). The entrees that followed (two filets and an order of shrimp and lobster scampi) were equally delicious. Service was first-rate; Jules is a delight! And I found the ambience of the room (the clean lines of contemporary furnishings, subdued lighting and music) very appealing. My son-in-law and daughter both loved the music so much that they recorded a couple tracks so they could download them at home. We'll be back!

Nice spot. Service was great (shout to our server Arel). Food was decent. We had the lamb specials and the ribeye. Cauliflower side was okay. The crab gratin was excellent. Calamari was good. Crème brûlée was perfect.

Food came an hour late. And cold! We order a tomahawk steak and cauliflower was not completely cooked. The manager was not sympathetic to the situation and made an excuse as to how long a tomahawk take. We have eaten here several times and never received the kind of service. The waiter was decent and knowledgeable but after an hour he didn't even check on us to make sure we are ok. After waiting for the food they did offer chocolate cake that I don't like. The menu is limited and has changed.

The food is excellent and well prepared. The drink menu is unique, but the drinks could be a little larger for the price. The seafood and steaks were as good as any best restaurant in town. It's clear they have an excellent chef. The wait staff was very attentive. Overall, great experience and we will be back.

There was a wait time even after we already had a reservation. The staff was great but the tables were put very close to one another. The food was mid and all in all caused me to feel lethargic. I definitely wouldn't come back but I appreciate the way the staff handled things

We started the evening off with a dozen oysters assorted 4 different types. They were incredible. Then we ordered a bottle of wine to enjoy while we waited for our entree to arrive. I ordered the 10oz filet which was cooked to perfection. The knife cut through it with ease. I added the lobster topper to the steak. It was good but the portion was really small in my opinion. While it was delicious, I don't recommend the upgrade due to the portion. (Half a claw). Kellie ordered the scallops, of course done perfectly over a bed of risotto. We enjoyed the evening sharing off of each other's plates. I will say, it is a bit loud inside while dining. The inside is decorated beautifully and they seemed to have quite a selection of spirits to choose from at the bar. The last thing I would like to point out how wonderful our waiter is, Don. He truly took care of us and gave us a complete walkthrough over the menu, offerings, and made our evening special. Hope this helps!

Went for a date night, Everything was great, the server was accommodating and did a wonderful job. The space was fun and energetic but very loud and hard to have a 1:1 conversation.
Have been here a couple times. Food is always top notch and was this time as well. Had to wait an additional 10 minutes past my reservation to be seated. Service was good not great, for instance some shareables came and had to ask/wait for plates. I expect top notch service when paying top dollar and didn't quite live up to expectations.

The food and our waiter was amazing!! Our waiter Aarold was so nice & friendly, he explained the items on the menu in details recommended some items too. The taste of the food is so good. Specially loved the calamari. Enjoyed our anniversary dinner there!!!
