Wow! Wow! Wow! Chef Jackie is amazing! His sushi creations are the best we have ever experienced. We sat at the sushi bar and were blow away by the creativity and taste. Great cocktails and wine menu. Ton the manager was attentive we felt right at home. We can't wait to return! They have a tuna cutting event that we are excited to book when it is next available. Also excited that they are now open for lunch :).
Such a great night. We had a 7pm reservation. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated at the sushi bar as we requested in the reservation. The chefs were amazing. The quality of the food was outstanding. The price for what we ordered was no more than it would have been at any other sushi restaurant but the quality, presentation, and unique flavor combinations sets this place apart from the other options in this area. First time at Monkey68 and it did not disappoint. Martinis were excellent size, cold and full (which doesn't always happen), the tuna and salmon tartare was fantastic, calamari was crispy but not chewy with a great dipping sauce and our sushi rolls were excellent. Don't recall the names of the rolls ordered but both had very fresh sushi and were very tasty... See pictures.
