Our waiter (who just turned 20) was PHENOMENAL! An absolute pleasure, and the saving grace of this review. Personable, professional, and an absolute joy.The food was not bad, but certainly not delicious. Go for the atmosphere and not the food.The women's bathroom is the reason for the one star rating. The door lock was malfunctioning so it wouldn't lock, the trash was overflowing, and there was tissue paper all over the place. I wouldn't expect this from a fast food chain.

Beautiful atmosphere!!! Smoked fish dip appetizer was wonderful. However the main courses not so much… broccolini was undercooked and cold. Clam chowder was thin and somewhat watery. Ordered the swordfish with the Lemon Butter Caper sauce, expecting a nice light lemony sauce. However, the name is deceiving. The sauce was super thick, and FILLED with mustard seeds and had a strong Dijon taste. Certainly not a lemon butter sauce. I think that we should’ve been told that it’s actually a mustard based sauce before ordering it all over our fish. Just an FYI!

Very slow service. Food is subpar and doesn’t coincide with the place. Undercooked, oversauced, over seasoned. Had crab cakes, tuna, fish n chips, and surf / turf. We had to clean our table ourselves as we ate as the dishes piled up and no one would come by to keep up with the clutter. Keep your expectations low. Not worth the price.

Great experience, been a few times and the place has consistently gotten better and I can confidently say it's now great. Fantastic service from the hostesses, our waiter was great. You must get the mussel appetizer, that sauce is so good I almost drank it right from the bowl. Swordfish with lemon butter sauce was excellent, cooked perfectly, rest of my family enjoyed the salads and surf and turf, lobster was cooked just right and the pepper sauce on the steak was unexpectedly excellent. Highly recommend.

This was first time at Ocean and Acre. Dinner itself wonderful. The lobster bisque appetizer was so so. Normally one of my fav apps but not so much here. The waitress was very attentive but the bar service was very slow (and we each only ordered 1 drink). After my husband ordered clam chowder we were informed the chef ran out of it. It was only 7:15 so I was pretty surprised/disappointed by that.

I had a great experience at the Ocean & Acre restaurant yesterday. Despite a minor mix-up with my order, the staff swiftly corrected it with genuine concern, even comping my meal as an apology. The food was exceptionally tasty, so I highly recommend this place to visit.

It is the little things which add up to be big things, perfect! The vibe of the place is coastal, chic industrial, pretty cool. My wife had grilled Twin Lobster Tails and I had the Seared Hawaiian Ahi Tuna. Growing up in Hawaii and Florida, it is also hard to find seafood in the Atlanta market which compares.
