Food was very fresh, clean ingredients and very light but filling this is my new favorite Mediterranean cafe in Alpharetta I highly recommend

Delicious! My daughter and I enjoyed our dinner. She had a falafel wrap and I had the chicken and rice entree. Baklava for dessert completed the meal.

Very flavorful generous portions of well known Mediterranean dishes. I tried both as take - out, eat in and delivery. Never disappointed.

Takeout order was incorrect. Called restaurant to bring back the food and pickup the correct order and was told I could not. I was told since I took the food from the restaurant they would not give me additional food. I explained I planned to bring it all back, that I just got home and opened the box to see it was not my order. The young girl on the phone offered to refund my dessert. We ate the food anyway, except for my daughter who is vegetarian. Worst part, I met up with my family who also ordered takeout and they had the same experience! 3 wrong meals and the restaurant refused to honor their order and refund only sauce! How is this acceptable!??

Ordered a Gyro Classic with fries... The Gyro was soggy and had way too many yellow onions. Paid extra for Feta Cheese none found in gyro. Won't be returning

Always delicious. Best gyros I've had since living in Chicago near a Greek enclave.

Photo attached of only one meal that I received vs what I ordered. Extremely disappointed in all four of my meals tonight, but most of all the customer service. I have never left less than a three star review for a restaurant, even when the food was uncooked an inedible. I feel for the restaurant business since the pandemic, but I also expect a level of customer service. And tonight, the customer service upon receiving incorrect food was unacceptable. I ordered 4 meals, an appetizer, two tzatziki sauce, and dessert for takeout. Only one meal was correct- the Greek salad. My husband called to notify the restaurant and let them know our order was incorrect and possibly switched or mistaken with another, but we were ok with all meals except for one. He explained that we ordered the chicken gyro and we received a box of pita, fries, chicken slices, and a spoon of taboulah. It was not wrapped and it was missing lettuce, tomato, and all the fixings. The female on the phone apologized and said it’s basically the same thing. We explained that it wasn’t, it was simply cold chicken and sliced pita bread atop cold fries. He also let her know that all our food was cold- not even warm, But I had already popped out the air fryer to reheat the fries. My husband asked if he could come and pick up the correct chicken gyro order and she said “well, no, you have the food”. I then repeated everything for clarity sake and was told I could be refunded for a tzatziki sauce. I repeated that back to confirm that she was in fact aware I received 3 incorrect meals, and that she is stating I could not bring one plate back to the restaurant to receive what I purchased, but instead only be refunded for a sauce. Yup, that’s correct. So I not only over paid for food I did not receive, but tried to be simple and only request the one incorrect item be fulfilled. I was denied and offered a .75 cent refund. I then explained that all of my 3 meals were so cold, there is no way this was recently cooked. I had to pull out my air fryer to reheat everything without microwaving it to rubber. But, that was not my grievance; I just wanted my one meal fulfilled for my picky guest. I questioned that if I was in the restaurant and ordered, would they not take the food and bring me what I purchased? The female literally replied, “you have food. It’s not exactly the same, but it’s similar “. Well, no kidding. I also purchased 3 meals that I did not receive, but apparently that’s ok to this restaurant. So, if you don’t mind cold lamb, cold chicken, old fries, and hard falafel- then try this place. And if you are a fan of paying for things you don’t receive- this is the place for you! If you order from here- check to ensure they do not give you an order that sat on the counter for an hour. Experience Papoulis- Customer disservice at its best!Edit to add: my receipt vs the food I received according to the menu. I overpaid by $12.00 and ended up trashing half the food.

Absolutely fantastic! I had a beef gyro platter with Fava bean salad. Everything was incredibly tasty

It's a great little Mediterranean restaurant. It's not the best but it's really good. The customer service was outstanding when I was there.

I have tried dining here two times now... The portions are small and the prices are high...does not seem fresh, flavorful or authentic :(

FIRST VISIT: lunchtime- I received a warm welcome and got recommendations from the man at checkout. I got the chicken gyro, which has shaved meat, and the Greek salad. I loved the gyro!! The meat was seasoned so well and the tzatziki sauce was perfect. Everything was fresh and warm. The salad was good and still tasty when I saved it and ate when I got home from work. Definitely made me want to go back. SECOND VISIT: lunchtime- I feel disappointed compared to my first visit. I ordered the chicken gyro again. The meat wasn't as warm, and the gyro overall didn't seem to have fresh lettuce and tomato. This was visiting the Tuesday after MLK day. I also got the rice pilaf side, which I don't recommend unless you just want plain rice. Still a good price for my meal, but the flavor and freshness just weren't there, which makes this a four star. Part of me wonders if this is because they were busier but it wasn't crowded inside...

We truly enjoy our meals at Papouli’s! The food is consistently fresh and well-seasoned, and the service is excellent. The tabouli is the best in this area!

The gyros are heavenly from the Greek goddess Athena herself

Really good. I'm not usually a fan of Greek food but this was great.

Tried a couple of Greek places around and this is our fave so far. Their dolmas are excellent - so tangy! And the pastry sampler - beyond. I have also tried their falafel wrap which is a fave of mine now. The Greek fries are spiced well too. If you have to try just a couple of things to get a taste, go for the Mediterranean sampler and pastry sampler.
