Tried these for the first time today and they are delicious! The birthday cake is amazing! Light, fluffy cakes! Delicious! Icing is a little sweet, but the cake is perfect. Overall, great place for when you feel in the mood for cupcakes!

Update: Ordered again from here a year later and we were again soooo happy with what we got. Online ordering system is super easy and we opted to schedule a delivery ahead of time. I LOVE this small business. I have a friend who celebrated her 90th birthday by going to a West Coast Swing dance venue. She has a dairy allergy, so I searched for a dairy-free bakery and I found Smallcakes. I ordered the mini's. They come by the 2 dozen, as they are bite-sized. For the party I ordered 8 dozen and before the evening was over, all of them had been eaten. EVERYONE raved over them! People were asking me for my business card. I said I don't work for Smallcakes, I only purchased from them. Personally, I am not a gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, so I couldn't compare these delicious cupcakes to anything but to another cupcake. FYI They also create logos on their cupcakes using edible ink! ...just WOW!

I hate giving out bad reviews but when I stepped in, there was no one there in the front until my kid got vocal about the pretty cupcakes on display. The ambiance was definitely geared for social media presence so it was easy on the eyes. The person was nice and we got 4 cupcakes for 18.17$. It wasn't very good as it was too sweet and my kids did not enjoy eating them. All in all, i really wanted to give it a chance but i would drive farther west and continue to go to Vincent's bakery or scream n nuts.

So, it’s your doggy’s 11th birthday, and the pupcakes you made didn’t quite turn out photo-worthy, so what do you do?!? You drive to Smallcakes and grab a pack of beautifully crafted pupcakes, duh! The pupcake looked great, and of course my dog loved it! I might have even tried a little piece for quality control. ? The only thing I would caution you is that they are small. I usually make mine a little bigger for photo purposes, but these did fine. She might have gotten a little more than one to make up for the size, but that’s ok. I’m thankful for Smallcakes saving the day. I’ll add, these pupcakes are moist like real cupcakes, not like some of the “cakes” for dogs that are hard. Pups deserve the real thing

This location is about 25 minutes from my house, but I based the pickup time on when I would be in the area running errands. 30 minutes before my pickup time, Smallcakes called and said their baker had called out sick and my cupcakes would be not ready on time. They asked if I could come a little later, but unfortunately I could not. I told them I understood and was fine to just cancel, but they insisted they deliver the cupcakes to my house! They spent almost an hour driving the cupcakes to me then back to their store. The cupcakes were all delicious and their customer service is top-notch!

My husband has celiac so must avoid gluten. Small Cakes came through with some fabulous gluten free cupcakes they transformed into a pull apart cake. I wish I had gotten a picture. The cake was decorated with crimson and white frosting and Alabama emblems everywhere. It was beautiful and delicious. John swore it couldn't be gluten free. Melody, the owner, was awesome to work. Fantastic service!

These are the best cupcakes in the area hands down! We had to pick up these cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party at the last minute. The lady that helped me was super friendly and helpful. They had a great assortment of unique flavors and the cupcakes were all beautiful with amazing flavors to match. I definitely recommend trying them!
