This is a small store located in a strip mall and has a Chinese restaurant two doors down. I almost missed the place. We stopped on a Saturday evening around 6:30 but it was not busy. The chef behind the counter was very friendly. We ordered a sashimi for two and a some kind of roll, plus sake. This is the first time I can remember having sake. It was a weak alcohol with little flavor, beer or wine would taste better. The food was ok, nothing special and didn't have much to comment. Maybe a noodle soup fits my taste better.

Clean area. Prompt and attentive service. Vegetable hibachi was good however the sushi lacked flavor.

We've eaten here many times, mostly for lunch, but dinner too. We really liked this place, but now that they are not open for lunch anymore, I'm not sure we will be rushing over there. Prices are high for dinner, and the experience just doesn't match the cost anymore. They are a nice family and maybe they are struggling with business, but this restaurant no longer fits our lifestyle. The good news is, there are several other good options in the area. Best of luck SM.

Tried it for Ramen and it was quite lackluster. The noodles were okay but the broth had no depth and was just a watery broth, not bone broth for sure. We had the Miso and Tonkotsu Ramen. The meat - pork - was tough and not the usual tender smoked meat, just pieces of cooked pork. The egg was cold. Meh at best.

Sushi was excellent and very fresh but the quantity on sashimi was a little on the smaller side. The curry was good but lacked a little bit of flavor. Everything else was great.Overall the service was great and the environment was enjoyable!

I had a lovely evening last night with my fiancé at Sushi Ming! We decided to get something quick and light nearby and stumbled into the most pleasant atmosphere. The server was catching up with some regulars and we noticed the most beautiful music coming from the corner booth. Hiro introduced himself and told us he plays guitar and sings on Friday nights. He had such a sweet voice and beautiful Japanese and English songs to accompany our delicious meal. He gave us a CD with some gentle covers and his original song Masterpiece. Hearing the emotion he sings with is enough to bring a tear to your eye. The sushi was freshly prepared, and the finely chopped carrots in the fried rice added a great crunch. Our new go to spot for a cozy Friday date night! If you've been meaning to try it, you won't be disappointed!

My daughter and I went here a few weeks back during a torrential rain, had the place to ourself. Was blown away at the taste and sophistication of the sushi and the ramen was terrific also.Plan to make it a regular stop on Wednesday nights.

We've always liked this place but I recently noticed their hours changed. They are very nice people, but with the super tight dining window they now provide, we'll be taking out patronage elsewhere and starting a new relationship. Their open until 9 but you cant sit after 830? Sounds like they close at 830. I also used to order lunch all the time. I did notice they have not been very busy over the past few years. Maybe an indicator of deeper problems. There are so many options in this area that allow flexible hours and have a great product. LA Sushi which is proxomite to this, is an example. Kokos and Js asain cafe are also solid and almost always open.

We do not eat in sushi restaurants because the place is usually unattractive and the wine terrible. This place is not an exception. However the sushis are good, not top top but quite tasty. We took crumb shrimp aussi and tuna Sashami, sushi were not crunchy as we hoped but other that that it was good. Also, we ordered via yelp but no text telling us that the food is ready, that would have helped.

Great service. Bento box was really good. Prices were average at best, but the food was really good.
