If I could give them a million stars I would. Wow. I was raised in the south and have a deep love for southern food. It’s so hard to find the right kind that feels like home cooking. But I’ve finally found it. Don’t get me wrong there’s lots of places in Atlanta that are great but none compare to this flavor and deliciousness. Anna’s BBQ is THE BEST on the planet. I am newly pregnant and had a super strong craving for Renaissance fair turkey legs and I looked all over Google for where I can get some since the fair is seasonal (spring only) and I came across Anna’s! Unfortunately theirs is seasonal too but I read the reviews and decided I’d still try it and got the bbq chicken, collard greens, yams, sweet tea, and peach cobbler! ALL FOR $20! That is amazing in itself because these portions are HUGE. But the taste!!!! I could barely leave the parking lot and am eating on the hour drive back home. It was not a wasted trip at all and I will be back every day of the week! If you’re wondering where the best southern food is on the planet it’s here. I’d add a picture but I tore the plate up before I could think to leave a review. But please try this delicious food for yourself!

Place your order online 1 hour in advance of when you want to pick it up. The food is to love but the wait is a killer if you order at the restaurant. They get lots of call-in and online orders. You will be at the back of the line if you order at the window and could have a 1 to 2 hour wait. Mine was a pre-orde and I have been here for 45 minutes!

Their food is always good. I've been there maybe 5 or 6 times and each time the bbq didn't disappoint. I usually get the chicken, baked beans, and mac and cheese. Each time has been awesome! Full of flavor!

Would NOT recommend - waited an hour for BBQ chicken nachos that tasted like something you would get at a high school sports game. they did warn us that there was a wait, but hoped the food would be worth it. the bbq sauce tasted like it came from a kraft bottle. lemonade tasted like sugar and water mixed together. low quality food that is definitely overpriced.

It's been a while since I wrote a review, but this place is an amazing, must try BBQ joint in Atlanta and deserves all the publicity it can get. I stopped by after reading something on Thrillist, reviewing 12 BBQ places in ATL. While there is no lack of BBQ places in GA, most are average at best. Anna's is definitely not in the average category. While the menu is pretty large, I ordered my usual trio: Brisket, Ribs and Pulled Pork. I got coleslaw and fried okra for sides. All three meats have a strong smoke flavor to them, but not overpowering. The Brisket and Pulled Pork were moist and flavorful. The ribs were cooked competition style, which means you need to bite the meataway from the bone - I usually cook my ribs to "fall off the bone", which isn't to everybody's taste.BTW this isn't to say there was anything wrong with the ribs - they were yummy. My one an only suggestion is to go a little lighter on the sauce or maybe put it in the side. Again this is my personal preference, as I like to dip each bite into a light amount of sauce. If you're anywhere near ATL this place is worth the drive, and may just be my favorite BBQ place in GA - will need to try a couple more times to determine consistency. Bravo Anna

The best rib tips I've had in Atlanta. I love bbq, specifically rib tips, but theyre hard to find in atl. I tried this spot via uber eats. I live in chamblee so i was shocked that they delivered to me. I ordered a rib tip plate with mac & cheese and potatoe salad. I also got an extra side of string beans. Everything came packed really well and tasted homemade. The portion was nice too. My only critique is that they should've included extra bbq sauce on the side ( I'm a sauce girl). I would definitely order again.

In town visiting from VA .. and was referred to try Anna's BBQ. Ordered the Anna's feast so that we could try a little of everything for my family of 4. Even though the feast comes with 4 different meats .. 2 of them were not edible due to the overwhelming smell of lighter fluid that covered the ribs and the half of chicken. Despite the smell my husband tasted the meat anyway and the taste was horrible much consumed with a chemical flavor. The best part of the experience was the sweet potato cobbler, that was awesome! Here's a tip never start you pit with lighter fluid, keep the chemicals away from the food !!!

The ribs were pretty good but the fried catfish stole the show. Two of the three pieces were crispy, well seasoned and delicious. The third piece was burnt, dry and soaked in grease. (I think they gave us two fresh pieces of fish and one old piece) The sides were absolutely awful. The fried okra was hard, burnt and gray. The greens needed salt and were tough. The cornbread muffin was burnt as well. We would only go back for the meat and would absolutely inspect it first before we left to make sure it's fresh. I'd make my own sides at home

I would say overall the food was pretty good. I got the burger with slaw, Mac and cheese, yams, baked beans, and potato salad. The Mac and cheese was not bad but not the best. The potato salad was very good. So were the yams and beans. Good flavor. However the thing I was not a fan of was the banana pudding. That gets a two thumbs down. It reminded me of pudding cooked on the stove that is left out and gets the skin on top. The texture was all the way off.

The 1st time I ordered here I got delicious & tender turkey ribs, cinnamony sweet yams, delectable collards & savory fried mushrooms. The second time around there was no turkey - I think there's a shortages of poultry in the country rn- so I got the same order but with chicken instead. You can tell that the cook is tasting the food as they go & not just throwing a ton of salt & seasoning on everything. I also ordered a sweet tea which even for my sweet toothed self was extremely sweet but I didn't mind because that just meant I got extra tea by stretching it with tons of ice. I also appreciate that each time I've called the customer service has been friendly & professional.

I typically have a great experience here, but this particular visit... ? I had been craving a GOOD BURGER for going on two weeks. I know they're sandwiches are usually great, so I have them a try. I ordered the Slawsome (or something like that) burger since I was on a budget and they were (allegedly) $7.49 according to the posted menu. There is a sign beside it saying prices had gone up a dollar since Covid (fine), but was then rang up for $9.99. I expressed my confusion and nothing was done to remedy the obvious issue, but I was hungry so I pressed on. I ordered the burger Md Rare. I was told the could only do Medium. I said that was fine. When I got home and bit into the burger, it was well done. It was so dryyyy. The way my burger is cooked is very important to me, if it weren't, I wouldn't say it. If I'd been told it could only be well done, I'd have ordered something else. I called the restaurant after I calmed down, but the mgr on duty was rude and clearly had no customer service experience. She dis not listen to my issue nor did she give a solution, so here we are.I won't tell you not to eat there, but if you want a good juicy beef burger, you won't find it here. Also if you need any type of customer support, don't even trouble yourself. Otherwise, the food here has been great. To have spent $17 on my food to only enjoy the tea and mac n cheese?... It wasn't ok.

I placed a pick up order via Uber Eats & the original total was $14.15 for 3tacos & a side of macaroni….the restaurant increased my price to $16.33 I’m assuming for the side of macaroni….the MACARONI AND CHEESE WAS BOMB!! My plate was NOT worth $16.33 though. Yaw are dead wrong & one of the main reasons why I hesitantly support black business. It be your own people smfh
