Ann's Snack Bar stared in 1971, its very small, the decor has no frills but its clean. She has customers that wait in line, most are locals, middle aged, equally split male and female. She has a food counter with a few stools and a few booths. Its not about beer or bar food, its a hamburger snack bar; voted (Ghetto Burger) America's Best
I went to Ann's a few years back on the coldest day in Georgia for 10 years or more. 10-15 degrees or so. It's was a late lunch for me at 1:30pm. I heard about and had to get the Ghetto Burger! It was fantastic! Made with love! Thanks Mrs. Ann! The shop is built for business and not for show. Some minor improvements could boost the inspection score a bit. That being said, I have had the best tacos and BBQ sandwiches, in shops less appointed than Mrs Ann's. Cheers!!

This establishment is an excellent example that perfection can be attained through simplicity. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The customer service is efficient. One need not to spend a lot on decor to make a great impression. I appreciate this place and the memory of Miss Ann. It is no surprise that she along with her restaurant was featured in Atlanta Magazine.
