We recently dined here for the first time and I’m wondering what took us so long! You order at the front and take a number, then the food is brought to your table when ready. We devoured everything. Goat tacos, barbacoa de res mulita and the kids loved their steak tacos. Great selection of drinks as well.Relaxed, outdoor eating environment. There’s a ton of space. Some outdoor yard games could be a fun addition. Service was wonderful. We will be back again!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families there. Open outdoor space.

I don’t understand all the high reviews. Food is bland. I would rather have a Chipotle burrito as it’s the same price point. (You also get veggies, sour cream, and lettuce for free if you want it). Not here. Extra $1.95. The line just to order was at least 15 minutes and there were only 5 people in front of me. There needs to be a better system for ordering because it’s ridiculous. It could be people don’t know what they want when they get to the front, but maybe have more menus available or have more cashiers or just have it be a regular sit down restaurant. I think if the outdoor space was nonexistent, this place wouldn’t be as successful.

Love the food here especially the mulita! Be warned that there is no indoor seating so on a cold or hot day, you will be outside.

Certainly a solid choice for Mexican food in town, but I feel like it used to be significantly better (and have a better QPR). The queso is still great though and the patio vibes are tough to beat on a nice day.

Did you know that El Tesoro caters?! Neither did we. We ordered food for a poker night we were hosting. It was super easy and delicious. They packed it up build your own style and it was perfect.

Tacos were phenomenal. Price is fair but a tad on the higher end. Atmosphere is welcoming and cleanParking: Limited spaces but even if they had a giant lot I think the lot would still be full because the food is so good!

We came Here when we went to the aquarium on our way back to NC, the tacos were good but expensive im pretty sure on the menu outside it has the price of $5 or $6 tacos we didn't see this until we had been waiting for about 20 minutes and there was a long line so we decided to stay we waited in that line for a total of 30 minutes to get our order in, for 6 people we spent under $200. The tacos were good they have authentic drinks i guess but its super overpriced and im pretty sure they dont speak spanish, which when we go out looking for authentic tacos we do think that the person taking the orders should know some spanish its easier for our family when we order....( just in case anyone cares) Never again but the seating was nice it was outdoors and the lights were pretty also dogs are allowed. the restroom isn't the best or in the best spot ...also there is no parking you have to find parking along that street

Parking: Parking lot spots are limited and finding street parking can be difficult depending on the time of day.

1/30 UPDATE: El Tesoro has found a new delivery partner and is back in our good graces. Best Mexican in town - and a great vibe on top...It pains me to leave this review. El Tesoro is an amazing restaurant with high quality food. But they desperately need a new delivery partner. Every experience I’ve had with their grubhub partnership is awful. Missing items, food arriving damaged, and two cases where food just didn’t arrive at all. I keep ordering because the quality is usually great, but am at my limit. In person - 5 stars. But if you’re ordering for delivery, stay away!
