It was my families first time trying them on 6/28/21 while in the city. Hattie B's hospitality & ambience was outstanding. I accidentally placed an [email protected] Nashville location and they were empathetic & didn't hesitate to retake my order quickly. The food on the other hand was sadly disappointing. We ordered chicken tender combos & dirty bird fries. The chicken was extremely dry & overcooked with some type of hot pepper sprinkled on top which I didn't care for & the pimento Mac was bland & uninteresting as well as the in house lemonade. However the seasoned Fries & pickles were a pleasant pause from this disaster. Please Don't take my word, taste it for yourself & On an empty stomach to better overlook the poor quality of the food. It appears that even The size of the line outside isn't enough to ensure their food is served with consideration for the customer.Good Luck.

2 piece with 2 sides is more than enough for one average person. Honestly you can feed two people with it. One of the few fried chicken places that has good chicken and does not coat the dang thing with a bunch of fried batter.

Welcome to the church of hot chicken. More people crying than a funeral on a Sunday morning. "Shut the cluck up" is hottest level of Nashville hot chicken one can get....and it's great. Bring a book or friends to talk to for the long wait, and ready to eat in the car or sidewalk as space is limited. But still packed house because it's that good.

My original dinner plans in Atlanta fell through, so I did some quick searching on Yelp and came across Hattie B's. I am so glad that we decided to give it a shot. There was a relatively long line (it was around 7 PM), but it moved pretty quickly. They have quite a bit of indoor and outdoor seating. I got the classic hot chicken sandwich with crinkle cut fries. When they say "hot," they really mean it! I went in naive and unsure of what to expect... I was sweating by the third bite. Still, it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The creamy slaw and crunchy pickles cut the heat of the chicken perfectly. I also tried one of their fruity beers. I usually only have one drink during dinner but I'm not exaggerating when I say that I could have downed three of those with ease. Everything we ordered was delicious. Plus, the workers were patient and incredibly helpful (the girl at the register recommended the fruity beer). If I ever find myself in the South again, I definitely plan on paying Hattie B's another visit.

Great customer service and the food was delivered 5 mins after we sat down. Great prices only spent 40 bucks for everything. Note if your not a person who enjoys spicy do not i repeat do not get the shut the cluck up its my favorite.

Hatties B's is worth every bit of the hype (and wild driving to get there!). The parking situation is a little confusing, pull behind the building to park or just park in the paid parking lot next store and walk over - I'd recommend this. Once you get inside it's all pretty smooth even when busy, you can tell they have put a lot of care into making this place run as smooth as possible - there's one door for ordering, one door for pick up, and one door to exit to reduce traffic at the doors. There are about 6 large picnic tables to eat at out front outdoors under the awning & some seating inside too. Gender neutral bathrooms which I always appreciate! Now onto the food - read the descriptions for heat level & stick with southern if you don't like hot, or just hot if you are brave but aren't the eat actual fire type ! The chicken is delicious, the peach cobbler some of the best I've ever had. The cups are cool, reusable which made my kids happy as they got a "souvenir". Definitely a must try if you are in ATL!:)

As good as the Nashville location if not better. We got Wings and a Sandwich paired with a side of baked beans, fries and Coleslaw. We choose “hot” as the heat level and it had just the right amount of burn. Anything higher would have been too hot/spicy. The Coleslaw was ok but the baked beans were great. Overall, we think Hattie B’s is a great place for Hot Chicken, whether you’re eating in Nashville or Atlanta.

Best Chicken sandwich I've ever had, hands down. And that Mac and cheese was off the chain. Been talking about since I left there, even called my momma as I was leaving the Parking lot

Man this place is legit. Parking can be frustrating and confusing. I still don't know if I can park next door but there are some parking spaces at the restaurant. They are just tight. The staff Is very friendly. Line was kinda long but moved fast and our food was ready almost soon as we sat down. We were surprised how fast it came. Food was excellent. Flavorful and we had no complains. Will definitely come back!

Best hot chicken in ATL all the way from Nashville. We absolutely love the food here and they always make it a point to make my 5 year old daughter’s day by giving her a scoop of ice cream or coke float. Overall a homely atmosphere with (needless to say) amazing succulent, juicy and heavily seasoned hot chicken. The “damn hot” chicken thigh quarters and sandwich is to die for. Their sides -coleslaw, pimento Mac & cheese and baked beans are amazing. Also try the banana pudding - perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommended!

I ate here twice recently, and both were not the best experience. The first time, I order tenders with fries and mac & cheese. The fries and mac & cheese were good, but the tenders were not. I ordered hot and by my estimate, maybe 25% of the tenders actually had seasoning on them. This may have been due to them closing at 10:00 (I ordered around 9:25), but I don't think that is any excuse given this is a fast casual restaurant. The second time, the food was great (got large dark meat hot, fries, and mac & cheese). However, I was disappointed as the cashier told me I could not eat my food there and had to take it to go since they were closing soon. I ordered at about 8:50 (they close at 10:00), so this does not make any sense to me. It seems like they just don't feel like operating the restaurant during their stated hours. If you're open until 10:00, I should be able to dine in at 8:50.

AH, so good! This location was super close to our airbnb so we knew it was meant to be. Ordered pickup, and it was ready in 15 minutes. Chicken is incredibly good, well seasoned. The beans were super sweet and delightful, slaw was a bit underwhelming, and the potato salad was delicious. We really enjoyed the banana pudding too! I'll definitely be back if I'm in Nashville in the future!
