“Halal food was excellent. I haven't tried Indian food before and was intrigued when my sister told me about the place last year. We ordered online through their website, and since then, I've been regularly ordering food from them.“
“5 STARS! I miss getting shawarma in NYC and decided to try this place. Food was delicious, the place is clean, and the woman at the register was so kind and helpful. Get yourself extra white sauce (garlic sauce). After eating lunch, I went back in and ordered plates for dinner. Can't wait to go back!!!“
“I eat here frequently, about 5 times a month. I love the okra dish, the Lamb Korma, the amazing super crispy puff-ball of bread (sorry, don't know it's name), the vinadloo, the tomato soup made with ginger!, the...really I like it all. But my favorite is the Lamb Korma.Suprised to let you know, my picky eater likes their Lamb Korma, too, and loves the Naan bread! The Lunch Special really is special, great price for good food and generous portions!“
“Amazing food and reasonably priced. The food was obviously made fresh and the portions were generous! The staff were very helpful and courteous as well, I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Picture is of lamb korma and vindaloo, it also came with rice.“
“I love this place so much, it makes me emotional!!!! The people are SO nice, the food is HELLA delicious, and their email list always has great deals. I order on my own pretty frequently, but we do big orders for my office occasionally too and they consistently deliver the right food even if it's a big ticket. The Tikka Masala burrito with paneer is my fave. I'm also so thankful for their vegan options for my coworkers. 10/10 !!!!“
“We had a party of 14. In-laws from across the country in for Thanksgiving. The staff was beyond courteous, the restaurant was sparkling clean (a staff member was even cleaning the outside windows during our meal), and the food was amazing. We came down from Virginia where I had my first taste of Indian cuisine, this was hands down superior to that! Well done Planet Bombay!“
“Ambiance is nice, service is good. Small plates/appetizers are good. But we didn’t like the main dishes. Especially panner tikka, malai kofta was wayyyyy too sweet (my kids kept saying the food smelled like shrikhand like indian sweet) Also server never asked us for the spice level we would like to have. So it was very mild in spice level and that’s not what we wanted.Their food is very very expensive, almost a double of what we usually pay at other Indian restaurants. But we knew that before going there. Wanted to try once. And it’s a last for us. Not because of the money but because of the way food taste, it’s not worth the money for us. Other than that it’s a good place.“
“Good service, ambience was nothing special but the food was absolute amazing. We ordered dal makhni, kadai paneer, dal tadka, and bhindi chaat. Bullet naan and roti were great.Vegetarian options: There wasn’t too many vegetarian options but those that were there were really good.“
“What an amazing experience while visiting my brother and his wife in Atlanta. They live in the neighborhood and when I requested Indian cuisine one night, they immediately decided on this place. All the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The service was excellent. I had a beer (and I’m not much of a beer drinker) that was the best I’ve ever had—Taj Mahal. I used to live in San Francisco and got spoiled—if I go out to eat I’m hoping for something special. Desi Spice delivered. I’ll add that I’m now living in a place where high praise from me sounds like “Well, it was edible.” Desi Spice made my eyes pop and my tongue tingle. Can’t say enough.“
“I ordered via DoorDash pickup. I had issues getting to the restaurant by the time my order was ready. When I finally got there, they had my food in a warmer so it was still hot when I picked it up. This alone already made me really like them because most of the time you would get cold food by the time you're home. Since we were staying in a hotel and have no microwave I was very thankful. Everything was packaged well. I got the chicken Tikka masala with jeera rice and the spicy chicken add on. The Tikka was on par with my favorite place back home and the spicy chicken had a green chili type of sauce on it and it was fantastic. If you like spicy and good flavor, I highly recommend it. Gave me a tingle of a burn but didn't linger which was nice. I also got the paratha bread which I have never had before and it was delightful. I would almost compare it to a croissant but flat. Very flaky and buttery and went extremely well with the chicken. 10/10 Thank you Sankranti for making my visit to town just a little more special.“
“We brought my brother from out-of-town here. We ordered two paani poori, chicken samosa, and jalapeño cheese Ann for appetizers. These were enjoyed by all. My husband ordered a mango lassi which he liked. For entrees, we ordered the chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, mixed tandoori, and chicken biryani. We asked for hot spiciness level which was just right for us! also ordered chili garlic naan and two butter naan. We ended up bringing home leftovers, so maybe only 3 entrees next time for five people! It was another pleasant dining experience, quiet and easy to have conversation with family!“
“A Buford highway gem! Came here for the first time after hearing all about the wings. I was really craving butter chicken though, and it def satisfied the craving! The version here is more buttery and spicy and less tomato-y than other places; it tastes like butter chicken in India. It's perfection! The rice is a little salty but just enough that it's tasty even by itself. The naan is actually pita bread, which annoyed me til I tasted it - perfectly flaky and soft. I got hot tea, which was very sugary, also more like in India. I ordered online for pickup, and when I got there, they had all kinds of fried foods at the counter. They said it's for Ramadan. I got potato and eggplant, which were delicious and not greasy; tasted very fresh. The jalebi they added was also extra crispy delicious; one of my favorite Indian sweets! The ginger juice is very concentrated and yummy. I didn't expect to love this place, but now I think it's my go to. The guys at the front were super friendly and just seemed happy to be there. The cafe is casual and clean. They give you a ton of food for great prices too! Will def be back very soon!“
“Lunch buffet is totally worth the 45 min drive from my house! Menu varies daily. Has vegetarian bar with a variety of dishes, spinach, bhajis, korma, paneer... delicious naan bread, meat bar with tandoor chicken +2 other choices, rice, also light desserts like fruit cocktail with mango sauce or rice pudding type dish, cucumber yogurt sauce, chutney...The customers always include Indians which is a good sign of it's authenticity and earned respect. Wait staff are attentive. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with low unobtrusive music. Nice ambiance.“
“The venue is ❤️\\u200d?❤️\\u200d? soo nice inside. My favorite thing to order is the turkey sliders and potato wedges. Live DJs and themed nights. The owners are super nice and almost always there when I go. Ro is the best waitress there right now and im not debating it either... I will be going again soon.“
“This place is more about food & taste and less about ambience. Half of their seating is in makeshift patio in the parking. Restrooms are also located in the parking. The food is quite tasty but it seems they do get flavors more by a hack rather than appropriately handling and cooking the ingredients. But they do give you the taste :). Given the ambience the place is little costlier than what it should be. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Overall good experience.“
“I ordered two meals from this NaanStop location via GrubHub yesterday, and while I was in the middle of eating I had to open this app to Favorite the restaurant bc I was blown away. The lamb rice bowl was good, but it was the Chicken Tikka Masala that got my attention. The flavors were 10/10, and this is from someone of Jamaican descent who pays attention to flavor profiles (West Indies spices are in line with Indian spices too). I highly recommend trying it out (and I hope your dish is as amazing as mine was!).My exact orders were as follows. Lamb rice bowl: white basmati rice, lamb, Punjabi Dal, Chola, grilled onions & peppers, fresh spinach. Chicken Tikka Masala: brown basmati rice, grilled onions & peppers, corn salad, fresh spinach.Vegetarian options: Punjabi Dal (lentils) is vegan. Chola (chickpeas) is vegan. Grilled and fresh veggies available.“
“I went out to eat there with my children. We ate from their vegan food options? ( tofu tandoori, mushroom fried rice, mango juice??). The food is impeccable. It danced around my palate. The customer service is friendly and welcoming. I will surely come back.“
“We ordered chicken rolls, chai, and sweet potato chaat. The chicken was tender with delicious flavors, and the naan and slaw were also amazing! My niece said it was the best chai she had ever had. The sweet potato chaat was a great eat; the pomegranates, cashews, cilantro made a big, yummy party of flavors! The service was fast and friendly. If we are back in the area, we will 100% return for more flavorful food and drinks.“
