I’ve gone to Ray’s on the River and loved it. This location was different but I loved it as well. In comparison, I wish more patrons would’ve dressed up for the vibe here. Amazing food and beverages. They allowed us to shut down with them without feeling rushed.
Very good food. The atmosphere was great and the service was even better
Reservations were easy to get (I didn't particularly care for the credit card requirement to make them, but I get it.) I am pretty sure we got one of the worst tables in the house. It is in the corner right outside of the kitchen and beside a door. Fortunately the door didn't have any traffic, the kitchen noise wasn't terrible, and we got to people watch pretty good. Our waiter, Brian, was a true professional. I really can't say enough great things about him. He was knowledgable about the menu, the wines, and daily offerings. We ordered oysters on the half shell, and both the hot and cold towers. Everything was amazing. I was so thankful that our hotel was right next door - I am not sure my belly could have made it much further.
Awesome experience. Food was outstanding! Tremendous service from the wait staff and bartenders.
Great food, service slow. Menu online different than restaurant.
Jesus and Alex were excellent! Food was fabulous!
Lovely ambiance. Comfortable seating. Knowledgeable, Attentive, Friendly staff. Delicious drinks. Exquisite food. An Outstanding Experience Overall
This was an amazing experience! Joy/Maggie and Teresa are all wonderful workers and our experience at Ray’s would not have been the same without them. The food was delicious and atmosphere was vibrant and delightful. Will be back for more at ray’s for their food and amazing service!
Food was outstanding some of the best in Atlanta. The service we received from Joy and others was top notch couldn’t have asked for anything better. This place was as good as any restaurant in NY city but with better service.
My waitress was the best ever if you do go please ask for Joy
I don’t understand why they allowed me to make an 8:15 reservation if they closed at nine and they seemed perturbed that we were there. Made a point to say we close at 9. So actually that set the tone from the beginning. For this level of pricing, I expected the host to be happy to see us, we were sat in the middle and a tiny table, I asked to be moved to an open booth since clearly they weren’t sitting anyone else. I tried to order three drinks off their specialty member menu and each time the waiter said they were out. Out of booze or out of your premix. I was actually shocked. I’m just going to be honest here I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. When you pay $40 For a piece of grouper, you would expect it to knock your socks off. Maybe it was just an off day or maybe this is the new level of quality you get. Either way, I won’t be back.
We received a plate of calamari that we didn't order, but we picked at it and paid for it anyway. When we got the seafood platter, I did request it to be blackened but it was a bit too salty. The drinks were great and the vibe is everything.
Our server Joy was fantastic! Very pleasant and had great food suggestions!! I loved the shrimp and grits!!
Me & the ladies went here for dinner, and all I have to say is, Jack & Jordan, make sure you request them. A1 service
Awesome experience with my wife. Classy and intimate dinner setting!
