This place is the vibe , beautiful location right on the beltline, they have patio seating in case you want to bring your dog for a quick coffee in the morning from their bakery, which is located right through the front door then at 5, they open the magical bookcase, which is actually a door that leads you the very fun cocktail bar. My date and I had a great time overall at the James Room. The venue is very stylish and has a classic cigar bar kind of feel without the smoking. I had a mock tail that I really enjoyed! Like a lychee Moscow mule. We also enjoyed the crab cakes but they were entirely too small, 2 the size of a flat golf ball if that. A group of my girlfriend went on a Wednesday night for their Slow Jams event. The music was loud enough for us to have mini karaoke sessions but soft enough for us to have conversations without screaming!!! The food is served tapas style and was very tasty!!!
