The food is generally excellent - lots of farm to table and seasonal options. Beer is made on site and top notch, with a few guest taps on rotation as well. Service is always friendly and quick -- nice patio / beer garden area for when the weather is nice. One of the best overall spots in Atlanta for food+drinks.

Located in the basement of an old mansion, the Wrecking Bar is an intimate restaurant, bar and brewpub. The ambiance is definitely English pub in nature and many of the beers fit this style. The food also has that feel with cheese and charcuterie board options, The menu also feels very farm to table in nature. Sat down at the bar and ordered a flight and had a great talk with the bartenders on that night. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about their product. That should go without saying, but you would be surprised how many don't. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food here, as I had already eaten about an hour earlier. But the pork belly, duck pot pie, and trout all sounded wonderful. The person down the bar from me had the Apple Butter grilled cheese and was raving about how wonderful (and unique) it was. As my meal earlier was more basic and marginal, I wish I had read the menu here first. On a subsequent trip, I have to stop again and try some of the food.

Always a great experience, especially sitting at the bar when it’s busy. Food last night was fantastic - kept it simple with the burger and fries. The cherry beer is one of my favorites.
A nearby retailer, mentioned Wrecking Bar and their fave fish fry. They were spot on. The cod had great crust! The greens were bright and fresh. Our fisherman loved the trout. The fun corn pups app came on sticks that looked like lollipops and tasted way better then any corn dog. The house brewed? soda of ginger beer and root beer were worth the trip on their ownour waitress seemed to know what we would like before we did.Stars aligned for family meetup, all 5

Lovely evening with my husband, before a play at Horizon Theater (2 minutes away). Rainbow trout and pork belly dishes were delicious, perfectly cooked & creatively seasoned. We also enjoyed celery root soup of the day and the sautéed bok choy, (thanks for Yelp reviewer tip! ) Beer selection is diverse, and there's also a full bar. Atmosphere is cozy & inviting, with friendly service. Wish we lived closer: this would be my go-to restaurant.

This place is awesome, but the service could not be worse. The staff was rude, had a bad attitude and mostly incompetent. I would not recommend this to anyone! Avoid unless you like being treated like crap and ignored. AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!
