“Flavors have changed over the years. It's a hit and miss with whatever you get. Last time we ordered we got a rib sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were tough not falling off the bone like they use to. It's BQ flavor has changed as well . Staff is quite friendly.”

“Food varies best thing on the menu is the fried fish plate. ( you may have to ask them to cook it a little longer for that great crunchy taste but it's the best hands down. The chicken is definitely a hit and miss best time to go is lunch time where it's definitely fresh .”

“Briar is THE BEST waiter! He was quick, attentive, so polite and made sure I had all I needed. He has amazing customer service skills. The food was excellent. I’m on a low fat diet due to health reasons and my food was prepared according to my needs. There was no grumbling about me having to order my meal in a very specific way and it still had the authentic Mexican flavor, just tweaked a bit. Very good cooking staff for doing that for me and my food was still incredible. I highly recommend Tequilas and believe it is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. Excellent customer service, kind and considerate cooking staff and great, comfortable atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Great selection of meals for any vegetarian!Dietary restrictions: The cooking staff will work with you on any dietary restrictions that you have. They are patient and kind about using light seasoning, no seasoning and substituing food like the cheese or rice or whatever you need to have to insure you have the meal you can eat. It’s still worth it and a GREAT meal even if you have dietary restrictions.Parking: Usually you can find a good parking spot, but Tequilas does stat busy, so the parking lot is usually full. However, a short walk isn’t so bad either because the food is well worth that walk if you have to walk a little bit due to crowded parking.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and options for the kids to eat. “Was a good place with a good room for us to have my nephew's b day party. The room provided gave us a little extra separation so we could all gather & kids could be kids without bothering the whole restaurant. Pizza was delicious & salads are big!”

“I have passed Gooey's various locations hundreds of times but never stopped in and I have to say that I have been missing out. We started with the cheese sticks and they combo of the cheeses just worked and tasted delicious. I tried the Fiery Cajun as I love my hot stuff and it had the right balance of heat and flavor. For those of you that are concerned that it will be to hot...it's not. If you can handle a low heat pickled jalapeno then you can handle this pizza. My friend got the Hawaiian and he loved the flavors and how they balanced each other. I will definitely be going back to Gooey's.”

“This little hole in the wall spot has some amazing food!! I travel a lot with my job and every time we are in the area, this is where we stop! They have BBQ brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, even hamburgers if that's your thing. Fries and other sides and even a soda. It's a nice lunch stop worth trying at least once. The menu is a guaranteed good pick!”
