Praise the Lard BBQ

Small place, decor appropriate for the cute name. You order at the small counter with the food in bins in front you, each labeled with the food item it contains. They are open Wed through Sat. We went in Saturday evening. Guess that's not the best time to go. We were the only people in there, many food items were not available. Guess they run out of stuff by Saturdays. I am 74 years old, born in Alabama and raised in Georgia, I have been eating BBQ my whole life. I have had BBQ many different places/states and especially around the Southern states. Some I liked, some I did not. I have to say this place is horrible, not even real BBQ. It is not the worst I have had but it runs a close second. Wow! Every bite of every item I had was simply amazing... I had the BBQ Meatloaf, Burnt Ends, Brunswick Stew, and Mac & Cheese. I added a "mix" of their extra sauces...the Lexington sauce (with vinegar in it) mixed with the Spicy sauce. A taste l have never seen the like. Incredible...Perfection...
