“I travel across the lower East Coast for work & have ate many different establishments.I had steak tacos & rice= hands down the best Iv had. Freshly cooked and excellent quality of food. I was blown away.* It's worth going.* I haven't eaten many fancy restaurants so there may be better somewhere but lower -middle price range I think they are the best.“
“We had a very large group - started with 9 and grew to over 20. The staff was so accommodating, moving tables and adding chairs. Our waitress was even able to give us separate checks. We sampled a little bit of everything on the menu - tacos, burritos, carnitas, fajitas, quesadillas - and I added the rice and beans. The food was awesome and portions were plentiful. Margaritas were delicious and beer cold and refreshing! A little hard to get to when one is not familiar with the area. The drive in is not well lit if arriving after dark.Kid-friendliness: Half of our group were kids under 14 years and mostly boys. Everyone found something they liked on the menu.“
“Very friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal very much. The salsa we were served initially was spicier than I like, but upon my request they brought out the mild version. There was no drink menu. I do wish there had been one at our table or included with our menu.“
“This place has been in Carrollton forever, but I have actually never eat near. We stopped by the one off of highway 27 because I wanted to try them out before the one in Bremen opened up. I was very pleasantly surprised they have an extensive menu sure to please any picky eater. My food was very flavorful and piping hot. I will definitely be back!“
“We have many Mexican restaurants in town. La Salsa was the choice of those who invited me to go with them. I get what I normally get at a Mexican restaurant -- a quesadilla. I copied a fellow diner, ordering one with spinach and mushrooms. I didn't consider they'd use domestic mushrooms, which I don't particularly care for. The spinach seemed exceptionally salty. At last the waitress was very competent and kind.Parking: There is a deep intention between the main road and the parking area. Those with low cars will likely scrape if they don't turn in very slowly.“
“I have always enjoyed the food there. The service is great. There was 2 problems they didn't have any ice which wasn't a big problem. The other thing is they speak very little English and I speak very little Spanish. But not a problem if I go with my boyfriend who is from Mexico.“
“Yummy! The food here is great! Very traditional flavors just what you expect from a family-owned establishment.I had the chicken soup and a taco salad. The soup was out of this world. It was so fresh that you could taste every ingredient. Yet it was blended so well.Good salad, fresh and firm lettuce, tomato, avocado, and sour cream perfect.It was a wonderful meal!The waitstaff was nice.I wasn't greeted when I walked in the staff (3 males) were sharing a joke. “I ordered the beef and bean nachos and made it a supreme with onions and cilantro. I asked to have the chips put in a separate bag because I had errands to run and didn’t want the cheese to make the chips soggy. Well I get home and there’s no cheese to make anything soggy. The key ingredient to nachos is the cheese sauce. i also ordered a jarrito. My total was over $18 dollars. How I’m not sure. Why would I not want cheese on nachos. I could order a taco salad if that’s the case. I tried calling but no one answered. I wasn’t even hungry after this disappointment. Wasted money, over charged, order prepared wrong.
