“Our MC group rolled in after Church on Sunday without warning ior preparing them in advance. They had to fry up more chicken for us but did it with Smiles. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was great. We'll be stopping by again but will let them know in advance so they are ready for us.”

“Decided to try The Greasy Spoon today in Claxton I had never been and wanted to try something different, I’m so glad I did! When I tell you that the vibe inside is so layed back it truly is a very inviting atmosphere, it’s set up kind of like a standard cafeteria style restaurant but very welcoming, very comfortable with out of this world customer service! The chairs are comfortable the tables are large and you just kind feel like you’re chilling at the house with no weirdness. Now the food: THE FOOD is very very good! When he said we got the best wing flavors in town I was like ok I’m ready to try this place out! He DID NOT disappoint! I had the greens macaroni and cheese and wings I had tried the bbq wings the garlic Parmesan and the firecracker wings, they were made to order and literally finger licking delicious!! The macaroni was very good just the right amount of cheese elbows were cooked perfectly and it was so moist with a lot of flavor! The greens were good as well I liked them with extra hot sauce. I would definitely recommend going to the Greasy Spoon to any and everybody if you want some down home style supper! I will definitely be back!!”

“First off, we walk in and the coldness hits us like a freight train. We tell them our order and go to sit down. I literally broke my butt sitting down. We get our food and start to eat. I pick up a chicken strip and there was a hair on my chicken. Two minutes later, there was a spider on my table. So we just left and ate in the car. But. Food was amazing. Keep up the good work.”

“This is a simple small sit down to eat restaurant. The food is extremely good and more authentic than some of the others. Be prepared if you are trying to call in a phone order and they are slammed, they may take the receiver off the hook as it was 54m before we ever got through. The 2 girls were serving, cashiering, hosting, and taking to go orders. Might would give them a break if there was a cashier/to go order taker. It would definitely give the servers an opportunity to focus on their main priorities.”

“I had a light lunch wanton soup and shrimp roll. They do not except cards and that's all I really use anymore.I was not over whelmed by the flavors, I may try again in the future when I remember to stop and get cash first. I gave it 4 stars because the country lady was polite.”

“I don't go very much anymore, just not a big fan of their prices. We purchased a large chips and cheese dip with salsa and they gave me a miniature bag of chip, I thought the were kidding...they were not lol! So I had to buy another bag of chips from them to be able to have enough with the dip. They need to definitely make the size of their chip bag way bigger with a large order.”

“We always seem to get the same young fella with brown hair working evening time. He is polite, friendly and accurate. When he's working everything has always been 100%. Last time we went through the young guy wasn't there, and sure enough it was inaccurate.”
